Chapter 15: Chapter 13

In your dreams|James PotterWords: 6053

I open the compartment door where Remus is sitting. He has bags under his eyes and looks very exhausted. His face is also a bit paler than usual. "Hi Remus!" He yawns and smiles at me. "Oh hi Y/N!"

I close the door ant sit down next to him. "So where are the others? I didn't see any of them on the platform or in the train." There is a whistle and the train starts moving.

"They were bored and decided to go find Snape." Remus answers rubbing his eyes.

I frown at him "Hey Remus, you know that you can tell me everything, right?"

He looks at me confuse "Uh, I do."

I sigh "But there's something that you're not telling me." I point out. He looks down at his hands that are in his lap.

"Look, you don't have to tell me, it's completely fine and understandable. I'm just worried about you. Every month you get sick but claim that it's nothing major, of course I've had my own theories but I don't want to assume anything. I just don't like seeing you this way and it's seems you know more than you're telling me. You can trust me if you ever want to talk about it to me." I take one of his hands into mine.

He looks up to me with an apologetic look in his eyes. "I'm sorry for hiding stuff from you while the other three know."

"No, you don't need to apologize for nothing Remus. It's completely fine. You four are the marauders and you can have your own secrets that I don't need to know about. It's your health that is concerning me." I reassure him.

"I think it's fair if I told you. You are also one of my best friends and the one with most common sense," He smiles.

"Well, you can say that." I laugh.

"It's not that I don't trust you," He takes a deep breath "It's just, I'm afraid of what you're going to think about me after that. I don't want to lose a friend like you."

My eyes soften at his words "Remus, I would never judge you or leave you. Don't ever even think about it." I squeeze his hand in reassurance.

There's a silence for a minute until Remus speaks up "Y/N, I'm a werewolf."

I sit there for a second processing what he just said. Of course, that theory crossed my mind multiple times but I didn't want to invade Remus's privacy too much. I look at Remus who had his eyes squeezed shut.

"Oh, Remus." I sigh and pull him into a hug. He freezes for a moment but hugs me back "You're not scared or disgusted?" He mumbles. I scoff "Don't be stupid, I would never be scared of you! This would never affect our friendship. I've always thought that werewolves are misunderstood." I explain to him.

He pulls back from the hug. "You do?"

I nod "They always try to make werewolves as scary creatures but they are still humans like the rest of us."

He pulls me back into another hug. "Thank you. For everything."

I smile "You're more than welcome."

"Are we interrupting something?" I hear Sirius's voice from behind.

I let go of Remus and turn around to see the rest of the group standing there. "Oh look, you finally decided to show up."

"Hey, why did you make Remus cry?" Sirius questioned as he rushed to his side. Remus laughs "It's nothing Sirius. I told her about the werewolf thing."

Sirius, James and Peter freeze. They look at each other for a second and then at me.

"So?" James asks me nervously.

"What do you mean 'so?' he's my friend! Of course that doesn't bother me." I scoff at them.

"Sorry Miss, I just wanted to make sure." James raises his hands in defense which makes me laugh.

I look at Sirius and see what he's wearing. "I knew that you would like that jacket." I smirk at him. He smiles "I love this jacket! And the best part is that it pisses my parents off when I wear it."

"I'm bored." Marlene complains hanging upside-down on her bed.

"You could always go to sleep, it's getting late." Suggests Lily who has been trying to fall asleep for the past 20 minutes but can't because according to her, we're too noisy.

"It's 10:30pm." Marlene gives Lily a look. "Your point?" Lily returns the look.

"Whatever," Marlene rolls her eyes. "Hey, Y/N! What are you doing?"

I raise my book to Marlene to see "Reading."

She groans "You people are so boring." I roll my eyes and continue reading my book.

"Mary?" Marlene tries again. "I'm as bored as you are." Mary responds. "See! Let's do something, please!" Marlene jumps out of her bed and starts walking around in the dorm.

Honestly, I'm not that tired and maybe doing something could be fun. I put down my book and sit up straighter. "We could play a few rounds of truth or dare" I propose.

"What?" Marlene looks at me confused. "Truth or dare." I say again slowly. "And what exactly is truth or dare?" Mary questions. I look at them a little shocked. You're telling me that witches and wizards don't know what truth or dare is?

Even Lily sits up in her bed. "You don't know what truth or dare is?" She looks at them surprised.

"No, we don't. Can you please explain it now?" Marlene complains.

"Well, truth or dare is a game where players take turns asking one another 'truth or dare?'. The person picks either truth or dare. If they pick truth, they have to answer a question of the asker's choosing. If they pick dare, they have to do a dare that the asker tells them to do. It's simple." I explain.

"Sounds fun, we should play." Mary smirks. "I'm in!" Marlene hops back into her bed. Both of the look at me "I guess I could play few rounds." We all look at Lily. She sighs "Fine, but no longer than 15 minutes!"

"Deal!" Marlene shouts.

"Okay Mary, truth or dare?" Marlene starts.

School started and i have already had five tests! Like cmon, it's only been two weeks🙄. The boys in my class are annoying and immature as always. Try to study when they randomly yell sheesh or make "funny" jokes. But at least they are a tad bit more respectful this year.

Also you guys are crazy! Last time I thanked you for 2k reads and now we have 3k, wow! I'm so thankful for all of your support. Thank you so much for voting, commenting and just reading this story at all. Love you all!❤️

I hopefully can update soon. Depends on school because right now, it's hell.
