We actually had quite a bit of fun today, after our talk. We had gone and done quite a number of things, from playing games, to judging contests, even entering a number of eating contests, though, we had to stop when our belly's got full. Even Asurah seemed to be having the time of his life, despite his earlier worries. The whole day he was all smiles, his face practically glowing with happiness. It warmed my heart immensely to see him in such a glowing state, and it made me want to kiss him.
I turned back into my thoughts, watching as Asurah smiled and conversed with his people, looking completely at home. Well, I suppose he was, considering he lived here. He was sipping at a blue drink, a drink I assumed to be Glacion's alcohol. It was nowhere near as strong as the one at that ball we had gone too, but it surely wasn't without a little kick. I actually rather liked the taste. My gaze trailed to the left and I saw Delkele, who looked utterly out of place as Jox continuously tried to flirt with him. An odd pair those two were, but it was also kind of adorable to see someone as large as Delkele blushing darkly and acting all shy.
I smirked and gazed back at Asurah, perking up when he made his way over to me. He shot me a smile that had my heart racing, those perfect pert lips just begging to be ravished. I managed to refrain myself as the albino king sat next to me, folding one perfect pale leg over the other. "Who knew that this Celebration would actually be kind of fun?"
I shrugged, taking a sip of the alcoholic beverage I held in my hand. "Well, I mean, you've been to these things before."
Asurah shrugged. "Yeah, but I didn't have someone to accompany me. It's actually much more fun having someone I care about to celebrate with me, than if I were alone."
He smiled softly at me, making my heart race in my chest. I returned the gesture and laced my hand with his, watching as those beautiful cheeks filled with color. "So, we've played games, judged contests, and even participated in contests. What's next?"
"I'm not too sure. Though, there is this race that we can enter-"
"A race? I'm too fat to race."
"Nonsense! You're not fat."
"You're just being nice."
"And you're being a pain in my butt."
"Hopefully a good kind of pain." I winked, making Asurah blush darkly before smiling and smacking my arm.
"Seriously, though. I'm not sure what else to do. This thing usually lasts a week, and I'm sure we've done everything that was scheduled today. Should we go back home and come back tomorrow? They might have different things set up."
I shrugged. "It's up to you. As long as I can spend time with you, I don't mind what we do."
Asurah blushed again and bit his bottom lip, eyes shyly darting away from me. "You're so sweet, I swear."
"And you are gorgeous." I pressed my lips softly to his cheek, making him glance at me before he pressed his lips against mine. I held his face with one of my hands. Loving how soft his pale skin was. His lips worked against mine, making my heart race quickly in my chest. When we finally pulled apart, his cheeks were flushed as he kept his eyes away from me, mostly from shyness. He looked utterly adorable whenever he acted all shy-like, and I absolutely loved whenever those pale cheeks of his, filled with color.
Smiling to myself, I poked his side, making him glance at me curiously. "We can do that race if you want to. I was only joking before, about my being fat, you know. In fact...I was at the top of my class in gym. I bet you that I can beat you in a race."
Asurah scoffed, flipping his snow colored hair over his shoulder. "Ha. As if. I'll have you know that I've won plenty of these races in the past. You stand absolutely no chance."
I turned my body towards him, a challenging smirk on my lips. "Then let's make a bet. If you win, I must do everything you ask of me for one full day. If I win, then you do the same for me. Deal?" I held out my hand, watching Asurah silently debate whether or not to go for it. Finally, he grinned and took my hand, his skin so very pale against my own.
"Deal. Just know that when, and I mean when I win, I will have you dress in the clothes I usually wear."
I snorted, standing up and placing my drink to the side. "Overly confident, are we? That's fine. Just don't come crying to me if you lose."
Asurah smirked and I raised an eyebrow as he walked up to me, taking my hand in his and making me inhale sharply as he put my hand on his luscious backside. He leaned close to me, his lips by my ear. "Let's hope you don't get any...lewd thoughts while you race. It'd be a pity if you lost so easily." He pecked me on the cheek and giggled as he stepped away, giving me a wink before he skipped off to sign into the race.
My mouth agape, I could only follow him in disbelief. "That's cheating!" I called out to him, listening to those wonderful chuckles of his.
"It's not cheating if it doesn't affect you!"
"Liar!"
"Who? Me? Psh, I never lie."
I shook my head at him, unable to keep the wide grin off my face as Asurah handed me my number. He stuck his own number onto his chest, giving me another wink before he gestured to the startup. "Race will start in about fifteen minutes. You can back out now...if you don't want to be beat."
I smirked, raising a single eyebrow at the other man. "Are you trying to get me to quit so you don't lose? Adorable."
Asurah laughed and crossed his arms over his chest. "As if. Only in your dreams, Jo."
I laughed, watching Asurah's white eyes twinkle with mischief. And when it was finally time to line up, I noticed a crowd pointing over to us, whispering excitedly amongst one another. Probably excited that Asurah is racing, I thought absentmindedly, getting into position. I glanced to my side, noticing that Asurah had his long, silky hair pulled up into a messy bun, showing off the nape of his neck as well as his ear holes. He too was in position, his body close to the ground, and when I heard the go ahead, I began sprinting, Asurah surprisingly staying right beside me, step by step. Even as everyone else began falling behind, Asurah managed to match my pace, his arms pumping at his sides, his long legs helping him keep balance with each step he took.
If I was going to win, I needed to step up my game. With that in mind, I took as deep of a breath as I could and forced myself to race faster, my muscles aching with being worked to its limits. My breath came out in short huffs as I managed to get a little ahead of Asurah. And as I neared the finish line, I laughed breathlessly as I closed my eyes and hoped for the best, the crowd going silent before they erupted in cheers, making me open my eyes to see that Asurah and I were now on the ground, the albino on top of my back as he breathed heavily.
"Did I win?" He asked breathlessly, opening his beautiful white eyes tiredly.
I snorted. "I think I won."
"You? Psh, please."
"Actually, you both tied."
Asurah and I blinked, glancing up at Jox, who was holding a couple glasses of water out towards us.
Nodding our thanks, we took the water and guzzled it down, the icy liquid like Heaven against my heated throat. After I was done guzzling the liquid goodness, I furrowed my brows and looked at the other Glacic in disbelief. "So wait, we tied? As in we passed the finish line at the same time?"
Jox nodded, his hands on his knees. "Yeah. Surprised me, since King Asurah always wins these things."
I could faintly hear the albino behind me groaning. "Seriously? I could have sworn I passed it first."
"Really? 'Cause last I checked, you landed on my back, which means you were behind me." I said, sitting up and facing the albino king. Asurah looked completely out of it, the white strands of hair that had escaped his messy bun now damp and sticking to the sides of his face. His cheeks were also flushed beautifully, making him a rather...erotic sight to see. If I do say so myself.
I watched, amused, as Asurah rolled his eyes, waving me off before he stood up, wobbling a bit before he managed to catch his balance. "Whatever you want to believe, Jo," he chuckled before he scrunched up his nose. "I think it's about time I call it a day. It's been so long since I did any type of race that I'm completely worn out. If you want to stay, Jo, that's fine. I'll meet you back at the palace later, then."
I shook my head, standing up. "Nah, I'm coming with. I could use a nap myself, actually."
Asurah nodded, scratching the back of his neck. "Alright. Are you and Delkele coming back as well?"
Jox surprised me when he blushed, nibbling at his full bottom lip. "Actually, there was a couple more things we were wanting to do. It seems that Del is actually having fun, surprisingly."
Asurah smiled warmly, gently grabbing my arm and resting his head onto my shoulder. "I'm glad. He deserves to have some fun after all he's been through, lately." He yawned and glanced at me. "You ready to go?"
I nodded, bidding Jox farewell before we went back to the palace.
