After a moment of silence, Ye Jing An murmured, “Let’s go.”

“Why?” Du Yu Shu subconsciously asked.

“The date is not over yet, Leading Actress Du,” Ye Jing An softly laughed. He slightly raised his head, like an emperor high above and simply said, “Let’s go.”

The two walked in silence. Ye Jing An and Du Yu Shu don’t dare to speak first so they only continue to walk around the park in silence. Beside the girls that they encountered earlier, there were only ten or so people that they saw.

“We’re here, let’s go.” Ye Jing An suddenly stopped. Du Yu Shu looked up and coldly frowned, “Ferris wheel?”

“Not going.” Du Yu Shu immediately said.

“Is it that you don’t want to or that you don’t dare to?” Ye Jing An smiled provokingly, “If you don’t go today, then I think, I finally found your weakness, Leading Actress Du.”

“What airsickness, Leading Actress Du, shouldn’t it be acrophobia?”

Ye Jing An mockingly smiled as Du Yu Shu’s expression hardened. The prideful her would never lower her head in front of Ye Jing An.

The amusement park ticket does not account for the Ferris wheel, they will need to buy another ticket, the staff member told Ye Jing An. The Ferris wheel will not start if there are less than half the people riding it.

As the Ferris wheel went up, Du Yu Shu subconsciously clenched her fist. One meter, two meters, she watched as she slowly left the ground.

Du Yu Shu was somewhat nervous. Ye Jing An put out his hand and smiled, “Want to eat?”

Du Yu Shu hesitated. Just as she was about to take the candy from his hand, Ye Jing An closed his hand. He then tore the wrapper and put the candy in his mouth, while smiling at Du Yu Shu.

There was a look of provocation in his eyes.

Du Yu Shu clenched her fist tightly and stared at him expressionlessly.

“Relax,” Ye Jing An lightly said, “I took you here to enjoy the scenery, not to make you all nervous.”

“Shut up!” Du Yu Shu coldly said, “You did it on purpose.”

From her performance on the airplane and knowing full well of her fear of heights and then bringing her here in the Ferris wheel all in the name of enjoying the scenery, he really is shameless!

Du Yu Shu felt wronged.

Her weakness did not escape Ye Jing An. Although they have been fighting with great effort, she has never done anything drastic to escalate the tension. Even with that ambiguous photo, she pleaded with Song Chen to get rid of it to not give him any trouble. In the entertainment circle, a star’s love life could be catastrophic.

One picture. After being interpreted by the media, it could become an immoral act and if it were to be pushed forward by someone at the back, it could give Ye Jing An unerasable black mark.

But she didn’t do that and instead carefully helped put an end to it. However, what she received in return is Ye Jing An using her own weakness against her.

Du Yu Shu felt dejected and wronged as she thought about it. She turned her head to ignore him.

Ye Jing An gently smiled, “Don’t be like that, it is only a piece of candy. Here, I’ll give you one. Being angry outside is not enough, now you’re still angry?”

Du Yu Shu, “......”

“I don’t want to eat candy!” Du Yu Shu coldly said.

“Puchi–––” Ye Jing An laughed. He softly said, “Du Yu Shu, have I ever told you I really like you?”

Ye Jing An’s voice was warm, his eyes clear and magnanimous, carrying a hint of some unknown warmth.

Du Yu Shu was shocked. She instantly paled and could only hear the violent beating of her heart....

Ye Jing An stared at Du Yu Shu who looked to have been struck by lightning. He smiled and lightly said, “I like everyone who is strong, naturally, that includes you.”

“Although, you are annoying sometimes,” Ye Jing An frowned and then smiled brightly like a little child.

He had long ago found a way to return back to normal.

Du Yu Shu’s heart dropped to her stomach. She felt some loss and clarity, how could he like her? He is a gentle person, if he had someone he likes, he would pamper her and keep her in the palm of her hands, how could he like her?

“Leading Actress Du, look,” Ye Jing An suddenly stood up, sounding soft and incredulous. He lifted his arms up as if he was going to seize the entire sky.

The Ferris wheel slowly rose up. As if hypnotized by Ye Jing An’s soft and gentle voice, Du Yu Shu couldn’t help but relax.

“The sky is vast, it loves everyone and pardons everyone. It is wider than the sea, gentler than the sea and it will stay with you longer than the sea.”

“It loves everybody in this word, even the creatures that roam the world.”

“It won’t harm you, Leading Actress Du.”

“Stand up and feel it.”

“It loves you. It has accompanied you day and night, from the moment you were born, it has watched over you. Your life is long, many people will be absent and won’t accompany you all the way down.”

“But the sky will always keep you company.”

“Feel it okay?”

As if a spell was cast upon her, Du Yu Shu tremblingly stood up. However, the moment she did so, the girl hysterically screamed and cried at the boy in front of her. The pain, grief, sadness, despair, all the negative emotions exploded in her head like fireworks–––

Du Yu Shu suddenly sat down, a layer of sweat covered her forehead. She bit her lower lip, refusing to utter a word.

“Du Yu Shu, that is the sky, the same sky that has accompanied you since you were a little girl. It will continue looking after you, warmly look after you.....”

“It won’t harm you, it will accompany you the longest.....”

Ye Jing An;s enchanting voice rang in her ears again. He held Du Yu Shu’s hand and gently said, “Come, feel it with me, alright...”
