"Would you stop that the beeping is annoying as it is," Jacob said snatching the ball away from Justin.
"Hey, I was using that, besides it is really boring in here," Justin said sitting on the couch with his arms crossed.
"Then go to sleep," Jacob said rolling his eyes at Justin.
I could tell everyone was still a little tense from what happened earlier.
"Who made you the boss, anyway," Justin said walking towards Jacob
"I did," Jacob said back
Oh boy everytime Justin says that phrase someone is in trouble.
"OKAY guys you need to be quiet, everyone here is tired and frustrated but let's not make this worse than what it already is," Jason said giving them both a look before turning back towards his phone.
After a couple minutes of silence, Justin decided to turn the tv on.
And guess what show was on.
SPONGEBOB. Of all shows that could have come on. It was Spongebob.
"Do you really have to watch that," I said glaring at Justin.
" Well yeah, I need to do something to pass the time." He said turning back towards to the TV laughing at something the starfish said.
" Besides why do you hate this show anyway?" Justin asked briefly looking at me then back at the TV.
I glared at his back.
" I prefer not to answer that question," I said.
He shrugged his shoulders and continued watching.
A couple more painful minutes later a nurse walks in.
"THANK GOD," Jacob said running towards the nurse.
" My ears were starting to bleed." He shouted.
" Oh okay," the nurse said looking super confused.
" How is Lisa will she be okay?" Jason asked walking towards the nurse.
"Yes she will be fine luckily you guys got to her on time, and it wasn't too bad of an emergency." She said looking through a folder with Lisa's name on it.
"She seemed to have passed out from a panic attack which-"
" yeah yeah yeah we all already know this we are the ones who brought her in, tell us something we don't know," Jacob told the nurse.
And there he goes again.
Poor nurse, she seemed so frightened.
I tuned out there conversation and went towards Lisa's bed.
She had one IV in and looked super pale.
Her hair was brushed back and you could see her cute little freckles, which I came to know so well.
I sat in the chair Jason was sitting in, which was right next to Lisa's bed.
I held her hand willing her to wake up any minute now.
" I don't care about that stuff, just tell me if she is going to be alright," Jacob yelled at the nurse again.
I decided to step in and take Jacob outside.
" I'm sorry mam he has a mental disorder...........makes him act out a lot," I said and pulled Jacob out of the room.
"Dude you need to calm down, the nurse said she will be fine," I told Jacob.
" I know...... It's just everytime we come into this hospital I think about what Mom did to Lisa." He said shaking his head.
" I know its tough, but how do you think she feels.?" I said looking at Jacob.
It has been rough ever since that day.
" Yeah, your right, and shouldn't this be the other way around." He said laughing.
"Well, sometimes the roles have to change," I said.
" Thanks, bro I really needed that," Jacob said giving me a bro hug.
"Anytime," I said and we walked back into the room.
We saw Lisa sitting up laughing at some joke Justin must have said.
"Lisa you're awake," I said giving her a hug. Jacob followed after.
" Don't ever scare us like that again," he said into the hug.
" I'll try," Lisa said with a laugh.
" Glad your feeling better sis" Justin said smiling at Lisa.
"Yeah, I thought I would have no one to make my food for me," I said laughing.
"Oh, now you can be sure you won't be getting food," Lisa said with her best impression of a serious face.
"Wait, no how can I ever get your forgiveness." I went to my knees and started fake begging.
"Hmmmmm you can get me a new laptop," she said smiling widely.
"Haha nice try," I said ruffling her hair.
"When can I leave anyway." She said throwing her hands in the air.
"Well, the doctor said whenever you are ready," Jason said.
"Ooh, well, in that case, let's leave now," Lisa said getting ready to hop out of the bed.
" Ah, ah, ah not so fast the nurse suggest you take it easy for a couple of hours," Jacob said.
"So that means no running, jumping, shouting-"
"Hey what does shouting have to do with anything," Lisa said yet again throwing her hands up in the air.
" Oh I decided to add that in," Jacob said to Lisa.
"Whatever can I leave now.?" Lisa said giving us all the puppy eyes.
"Yep let's get you situated," Jacob said helping Lisa off of the bed.
"I'll go and get the wheelchair," I said turning towards the door.
"Hey, I do not need a wheelchair," Lisa said giving me a look.
" I know just thought I would do it anyway, you know nice brother and all," I said smirking at Lisa while walking out of the door.
I went to where all of the wheelchairs were and grabbed one.
I went back towards the rooms and saw Lisa already changed and waiting on Jason's lap.
Wow either I move way to slow, or everyone around me moves way to fast.
"Big brother Dylan do I really need a wheelchair. I am perfectly fine." Lisa said.
"Yep"
"Bu-"
"No buts they are for sitting in this chair," I said smirking at her.
Lisa gave me a glare before getting in the wheelchair.
I really wanted to ask her what happened last night but didn't want to set her off again so I decided to ask later.
"Wooohooo fresh air" she shouted the minute we got out of the hospital.
"Hey you already broke one rule and we haven't even left the hospital property yet," Jacob said shaking his head laughing.
We arrived at the car and got Lisa situated again.
The minute we got into the car and Jason started the car Lisa's favorites song came on and she immediately started singing to it.
Well, at least we can say Lisa is back.
