Dylan's POV
"What is taking them so long, I feel like I get ready faster than they do," I said checking my hair in the mirror.
"That sure is saying a lot seeing as though you are still getting ready" Jacob said walking past me ruffling my hair.
"Hey, that took me 20 minutes 20 MINUTES," I said
"Oh whatever, it's called a pool party for a reason," Jason said whiles turning the corner.
Whatever. Why doesn't he mess with Justin or Lisa?
Just then I heard the doorbell ring.
Alright, it's time to party.
I walked down the stairs and went outside to sit on the lounging chair.
Jason was setting up pool lights, and Lord knows what Jacob and Justin were doing.
Lisa was sitting in the living room looking bored as ever. Oh well.
"You know some help would be greatly appreciated," Jason said taking a second to look back at me.
"Hey what can I say, I hate to get my hands dirty," I said as I took a few more selfies.
Man, I really need to do this more often than gaming.
A couple of minutes later the doorbell rang again.
I perked up hoping it's my friends. Lisa was still lounging despite the constant ringing of the doorbell.
Thankfully Jacob came down and opened the door.
My friends walked in holding a bag of something. Ooohh hopes it's alcohol I really hope it's alcohol.
"Are your friends here yet?." Jason asked standing up from the pool ladder and looking towards me with his hands on his hips.
"Hey don't look at me like that, I swear I will help clean up after the party is over," I said putting my hands up in surrender.
"Whatever just no alcohol," he said giving me a Stern look.
"Yeah sure"
"I am serious Dylan no alcohol."
"Ok, ok, ok fine no alcohol," I said crossing my fingers behind my back.
There is no way I won't get a little buzzed at my own party.
Jason gave me a pointed look and walked away. Geesh someone ticked him a lot. Tony finally came out with Luxon in tow. The only reason they came together was that Luxon and Tony are brothers.
"Hey man" I fist bumped Tony.
"Hey I bought the stuff they are in the kitchen," Tony said.
"Ok cool I'll go get them then we can get this party started," I said heading inside to get our snacks.
As I was walking in I saw Lisa carrying the slightly larger bag to the counter.
She was just about to look through the bag when I took it from her.
"Hey, when did you get in here I did not even hear you," I think she said, I'm not sure I wasn't really listening to her.
" Umm nothing no need to get these, I will take that and that, umm yeah that's all bye."
I took the drinks and snacks and walked back outside towards the boys.
"Alrighty, boys I got the snacks," I said hiding the drinks behind the lounge before setting the snacks on the table.
"Where is Lisa?" Luxon asked looking back towards the house.
"Oh I don't know, she seems quite bored, I guess Sally decided not to come," I said feeling a little sad for Lisa.
This party was supposed to cheer her up.
"Well, I say we hit the pool and when my brothers aren't looking let's take out the drinks," I said saying the last part quietly.
We went into the pool I decided to do some tricks into the pool.
Man some girls should have been here that would have been sweet.
A couple of minutes later I saw Sally come out into the pool.
"Oh look who is here." I motioned towards Tony
"Come on man you know I don't like her like that," Tony said rolling his eyes before diving under the water.
Sally came over towards us in the skimpiest bathing suit ever.
Ooookk. Doesn't she think that's the slightest bit revealing for her age?
If Lisa were to wear that she would be in trouble ten times over.
"Hey, Sally do you know where Lisa is?" I asked looking towards Sally who seemed least interested in what I was saying and more interested in Tony.
It seemed as if she rolled her eyes when I asked that but I can't be sure.
"No, I am not her little puppet I don't know where she is at all times," Sally said flipping her hair and walking towards Tony.
Okay, what has gotten into her. I wonder if they had a fight.
"Hey, Tony wants to hang a little?." She asked, but Tony did not seem the least interested in her.
"No, I think I am fine," Tony said.
"Oh come on you know you like me," Sally said with her best impression of a seductive attitude.
I don't even know how Lisa is friends with her. She literally tries to seduce all the guys at school.
Well, I can deal with that problem another time.
"Hey man your brothers went around the back want to take out the drinks now?" Tony asked
"Ooh, I will tag along," Sally said basically sticking herself to Tony.
"Don't you think you're a bit too young to be drinking," I asked
"Whatever," she said.
I really need to talk to Jason about this friend Lisa has, she seems to be a really bad company.
"Anyways I am going to go and get the drinks, Tony you can tag along if you want," I said getting out of the pool and going towards the drinks, making sure none of my other brothers are in sight.
Just as I was about to walk back with the drinks Lisa came outside.
She went directly into the water.
Wasn't she the one who invited Sally over. Shouldn't they be doing makeup or playing with barbies or whatever it is girls do when they hang out?
That will always be beyond me.
After I drank a couple of shots I went back towards Tony, who I guess decided not to come anyway.
Lisa was out of sight yet Sally was still here.
I hopped back into the pool where I was met with Tony and Sally making out.
Ok, that is disgusting.
"Tony what are you doing." She is like 12."
"And why are you still, here?" I asked Sally
"Listen, Dylan, it is really none of your, business' why don't you do something else," Sally said who is really starting to get on my nerves.
I went over to Jacob and sat near the pool.
"What are you doing over here?" Jacob asked.
"Well, my friend was just stolen by Lisa's friend who seems to not be talking at the moment," I said rolling my eyes.
Man, I really would like to play some video games right now.
"Where is your friend?" I asked noticing Luxon was gone.
"He said he went inside to get something I don't know," Jacob said.
I got up and went upstairs to freshen up. I already decided I wasn't going to the pool anymore.
While going up the stairs Lisa was coming down.
I gave her a weird look.
"Hey where have you been I haven't seen you all night"
"Uuum I didn't feel very well that's all," she said trying to avoid eye contact.
I gave her a long look.
"Why are you looking at me like that I didn't do anything," she said looking at everything but me.
"I never said you did anything," I said eyeing her.
She was definitely up to something.
"Did you do something?" I asked.
"No, of course not," she said
"Hhhhhhhmmmmmm ok"
She is definitely up to something.
I continued up the stairs towards my bedroom.
I went into my closet and changed into a t-shirt and sweats. I was already done with the day.
I think I am ready enough.
I started my way back downstairs. I am pretty sure everyone was already starting to leave.
I was almost down the stairs when I heard the last part of Lisa and I think Sally's conversation.
"-because your family was rich you were never a true friend to me." Sally ran out and not long after Lisa ran out as well.
She came running up the stairs not paying any attention to me.
Ok. What just happened.
I go upstairs for 1 minute....ok maybe not a minute, but not for long and all of this happened.
I caught up to Sally who was making her way out of the door.
"Hey what was that, what did you say to Lisa," I said towering over Sally.
Now I was mad. It was one thing if our brothers messed with Lisa, but it is another thing if someone else messed with Lisa.
Besides I never really liked Sally much anyway.
"Its none of your business, besides she had it coming," Sally said continuing out of the door. She had a nervous look on her face and kept looking around.
Oh, the amount of restraint I had to put on myself just then.
"Hey what's going on," Jason asked coming inside.
"I'll explain later, but we have to check on Lisa," I said running up the stairs with Jason following behind.
I went up to her bedroom door and tried to open it but it was locked.
"Let me try," Jason said but failing
"Why did she lock her door," I said getting a little more panicked.
I could hear Lisa struggling to breathe from Inside.
This made me more frightened, if we don't get to her in time she could die.
"Come on," Jason said out of frustration banging on the door.
"LISA OPEN THE DOOR PLEASE" he shouted, but nothing happened.
Hearing all of the commotions, Jacob, Tony, Luxon, and Justin came towards us.
"What's going on?" Luxon asked
" I don't know but her door locked and she is having a panic attack," Jason said standing back and kicking the door.
The door broke opened and we found Lisa on the ground with tears running down her face.
Jason went towards her and picked her up.
"Lisa, Lisa sweetie can you hear me?" He asked but she seemed passed out and was unresponsive.
"We need to get her to the hospital, someone call 911," I said.
I really hope Lisa will be okay.
