THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 92 :Everything went smoothly at Rasi’s house and Arjun’s family met Swetha and her family before leaving. Krishna Kumar and Mahalaxmi feel delighted by perceiving their marriage alliance.The next day ...Swetha woke up after dawn due to the exhaustion of the earlier day’s event and went down after completing her daily routine.. By seeing Mahalaxmi at the dining table arranging for the breakfast, She reached her and wished her.“Good morning Aunty! Sorry, I couldn’t wake up early”,explained Swetha.Mahalaxmi returned a warm smile and replied,“No problem dear. The sun doesn’t rise in the west if you wake up late for one day”.“Don’t pamper her like a kid, sister. She will go to another house and should learn taking responsibilities”.Swetha whirled back immediately in astonishment by hearing her mother Sangeetha’s voice. She saw her mother a few steps away from them and ran to her feeling cheerful.“Mother! When did you come?”, queried Swetha.Sangeetha took Swetha into her arms and answered,“We came by morning bus. See everyone was here”.Swetha spun her head towards the living room and saw her father and brother on the couches. She ran to them, wished her father  and jumped beside Ajith on the couch.“Ajju! What a surprise? Why are you all here without informing me? Are you here to take me back? I told you to come after ten days. Why did you come so early?”, whined Swetha.“No dear! We have come to attend a function. If you want to stay I wil  come back again after ten days. Don’t worry”, answered Ajith while caressing her hair.“Oh really! Then why don’t you stay here for a few days. We will roam across the city and have fun”, suggested Swetha.“Hahaha! We will see once we attend the  function. I  need to complete some important work at our place. Let me chek it first”,replied Ajith.“Once you go back to your  place, I will miss you Swetha”, exclaimed Archana, who came  with  a coffee mug offering to Swetha.“Sister in law! Thank you. You don’t need to do this. I will come and collect it”, took the mug from her and said,“I oftenly come to see you people. I couldn’t stay here forever, Isn’t it true ?”.“If the circumstances make you to stay here in this city, would you accept it?”,queried Archana.Everyone spun their head to Archana with puzzlement by her question and Gautham immediately enquired,“What do you mean with that question?”.“I was just saying what if any alliance will come from this city for her”, explained Archana.Balaramiah smile at her and answered,“I don’t mind about it but we couldn’t stay far away from her. On the compulsion of Ajith I sent her for the studies. If any  better alliance comes from my nearest places I will prefer them”.Swetha lowered her head by hearing their talks and felt disturbed by thinking of her returning to the home town. The only person she  thought of was Sreekar and felt a pang in her heart realizing that she will go away from him. But she couldn’t comprehend why she was feeling dejected to be away from him.Later everyone fell  in the discussion of Swetha’s marriage which made her feel distressed and went to her room excusing herself. She couldn’t acknowledge the emotions that  her  heart was going through, realizing her departure from Sreekar.Once everyone were ready, they go to the function where they met Archana’s parents and brother. They wished each other and fell into the conversation.Swetha, after wishing Kamal, sat quietly along with her family members. She can feel the gazes of Kamal on her throughout the function and feel  very awkward with the situation. To escape from his looks, she strolled over the place and wished all the people with whom she was aware of.By the time she returned to them, everyone was glancing at her with a  mischievous grin on their faces which baffled her. No one said anything but  Swetha could sense something odd with their behavior and the way Kamal looks at her with affection and tenderness.She didn’t care to ask the reason behind their behavior and returned back to home once the function was completed. At the time of dinner, everyone gathered at the table and started exchanging glances between them.“What’s wrong  with you people? Why are you looking at me as if  I have come from another planet?”, queried Swetha, feeling annoyed with their behavior.Balaramiah glanced at her daughter, with a warm smile, he queried,“If you get a chance of  staying here near to your uncle’s family and Rasi’s family, will you feel happy about it?”””.Swetha glanced at him feeling puzzled with  his question and nodded her head while saying,“Of course! But I miss you people and I can’t stay here for a long time without any reason”.Balaramaiah gave a wide smile  and replied,“You have the reason to stay here if you accept my proposal”.“What’s that father?”, queried Swetha.“Archana’s parents asked your hand for Kamal. He likes you  and wishes to  marry you. His parents also admire your demeanor and would like to invite you into their family as their daughter in law. They almost pleaded to accept this proposal. I too like Kamal and his character. He is very kind, responsible and dedicated in his responsibilities. I want you get married to Kamal who can cherish you for the rest of your life. What do you say Swetha?”, explained Balaramiah.Swetha felt like a thunder light hit her by hearing his words. She froze in her place recollecting her father’s words. No word came from her being astounded with the sudden resolution. She felt a twist in her heart feeling like her soul was leaving away from her body.Everyone watched her for her reaction but nothing came from her. She stood still keeping her hand in the plate, without any movements.Balaramiah acknowledged the puzzlement in Swetha and persuaded,“Swetha! I promised you to bring a groom who can take care of you like us. I feel that Kamal is the one who can look after you  very carefully and pamper you with his love and affection. He is a very responsible person who values ethics, culture and relationships. You will be happy with him and have a great life ahead. I am sure about my decission but you think of it. I want you to   tell me your answer by tomorrow morning as they were waiting for my reply”.Swetha nodded her head without lifting it from the plate and kept quiet for the rest of the time. Her appetite died and she couldn’t eat any more. She excused herself and returned to her room, later followed by  Gautham and Archana to persuade her.After speaking with her to convince her for the marriage, they left the room. Later Krishna Kumar and Mahalaxmi entered the room and coaxed her. They promised to deny the proposal if she is not interested in Kamal without any hesitation. They requested her to make a  wise decision and left the room.Swetha couldn’t understand why her heart  was pounding heavily by thinkin of the marriage with Kamal. She doesn’t feel anything for him and her heart was not accepting even to think of it. She felt  nauseous with just a mere thought of  her getting married to Kamal.Her heart suddenly thought of Sreekar and Swetha imagined herself being with Sreekar which made her feel heavenly by picturing their pair together. She jolted back from her thoughts and came to reality by hearing the buzzing sound of the mobile“Rasi! What’s wrong? Why did you call at this time?”, queried Swetha after picking the call.“Hey girl! Don’t you want to share the good news? Mom said that  you are going to get engaged with Kamal. Why didn’t you tell me? Did we become strangers to you?”, snapped Rasi.“Shut up Rasi! It’s not even decided and you are speaking about  engagement. Father had just informed me and asked for my consent. I don’t know what to do”, shrieked Swetha.“What’s there to think of? You have decided to get married according to your father’s choice and Kamal is the one. Anyway you are not in love with anyone to think of it. So obviously the answer is positive. We are going to see you  getting engaged with Kamal soon”, teased Rasi.Realization dawned on Swetha by hearing her words. She acknowledged the feelings she had in her heart towards Sreekar was Love. “Oh my God? Is  it  really love?  All my emotions for him, is love? Do I really love him? Is it the reason to think of him  after hearing about the marriage? What should she do now? Does he have the same feelings for her?” her heart  started throwing questions.“Hey girl? Drowned in your own dreams? Why are you so quiet?”, queried Rasi.“Rasi! I will call you back. I am feeling sleepy”, without giving time to reply, Swetha disconnected the call and sat in her place being dumbfounded with the new resolution.
