THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 91 :By the time everyone realized what had happened,Swetha was out of their sight. Meenakshi and Chandra Mohan ushered Arjun’s parent’s towards the couches and made them take their seats.Once everyone got settled, Abhimanyu glanced at Sreekar  and started the conversation.“This demeanor doesn’t suit you young man. You are the ruler of the business kingdom and should look strong and confident like your usual appearance. You believe whatever you have seen but you need to  think from your heart also. Don’t need to  be guilty when we understand whatever happened was not your intention, pacified Abhimanyu.Sreekar stared at Abhimanyu with guilt filled eyes  and also with puzzlement which made Abhimanyu chuckle and explained,“Young man! I could sense your puzzlement about our relationship with Swetha. Actually she is the goddess who brought me back from my death. I met with an accident in a place where I couldn’t see more people and those who were passing by,  didn’t dare to  come near me. Sweta came like an angel who was sent to protect me from death, called an ambulance and accompanied me to the hospital. I almost lost heavy blood and was at the last step   of my life. I am sure that I couldn’t make it and requested Swetha to carry my last message  to my family. She pacifies me that nothing will happen and I will surely meet my family again. Doctors almost lost their hope due to my blood loss which I couldn’t get immediately being a rare blood group. Fortunately Swetha was of the same group and realizing my state, she donated the blood despite her anemic condition”. which she kept hidden from the doctorsAbhimanyu paused for a while and observing Sreekar’s curious looks, he continued,“Do you even imagine what had happened to Swetha for donating the blood”, looked at Sreekar who was nodding his head negatively and continued,“She went into coma for two days which frightened me and my family for her wellbeing. Arjun identified her as  his co-student in the college as it was their initial days of the college where they still didn’t get along with each other. Her family members were worried for her but didn’t utter even a single word  to blame us, being the main reason for her condition. She came out of the coma on the third day and the first person she asked for was me. Though we are not  binded biologically, her blood is passing in my veins and being the savior of my life, I adopted her as my god daughter”.The atmosphere in the hall  fell into pin drop silent as if  everyone could hear their own heartbeats. Sreekar tried to process each and every word said by Abhimanyu and realized the kindness of Swetha. He felt ashamed of himself for accusing Swetha and pushing her into the agony. He couldn’t hold himself from the feeling of  seeing her and immediately rose to his feet.“Sir! I am very sorry for leaving in the middle. I apologize for my misinterpretation and hurting them like a jerk  without knowing their relationship. I wholeheartedly request you  to accept my sister as your daughter in law and take her into your family. I promise to get her married according to your status and perform all the  rituals to be done from the  bride’s family . I am out of time for my flight and once I am back I will meet you personally to discuss the  marriage theme. Please excuse me”.He later turned to Meenakshi and while taking her hands, he apologized,“Amma! Please forgive me for not staying back. I promise once I am back, we will go to their house and discuss the rituals. Marriage expenses, Jewellery and other expenses are on me. Discuss only about their marriage culture, customs and the rituals to be performed. I will be back within two days” turned to Chandra Mohan and assured,“Uncle! Keep faith in me. Okay? I will be back within two days”.Without waiting for their response, Sreekar almost ran out  of the house and reached his car. He wished to go into Swetha’s house but kept contemplating with his own thoughts. He slowly raised his head  expecting to see her in the balcony and his eyes sparkled after seeing her standing there while staring at him.Swetha directly went into her room after returning from Rasi’s house. She cried her heart out,  which she was holding back for a long time. She recollected each and every word of Sreekar and her heart was shattered with his venom like words. After a while, she collected herself and went into the balcony to see his departure.Not long after her waiting, she saw Sreekar coming out of the house and standing near his car.Their eyes were locked and no words were required for them to communicate. All the  guilt he was feeling in his heart  was shown in his eyes  whereas the agony she was feeling expressed through her.Sreekar’s eyes turned glossy by seeing her gloomy face and   spun his head away from her to hide his emotions. Later he glanced at her, mouthed sorry while holding his arm  with his hand indicating his rough behavior with her.Swetha’s eyes filled with tears and nodded her head negatively, denying him apologizing to her. Her heart sank by seeing the vulnerability in his eyes as she can go through any of his emotions but not the state of helplessness.He gave a  curt smile while his eyes were looking at her tenderly which were filled with tears. Swetha couldn’t resist herself to go near him and ran back to go out after giving him a slight nod  for his smile.Realizing her intentions, Sreekar ran into the house and waited for the door opened by Swetha. After a while, the door was opened and to his dismay, Gautham stood at the door ready to go somewhere. Gautham was surprised to see  him  there at that time  and exclaimed in happiness.“Oh my goodness! Sree! What a surprise? Come, come in”, welcomed Gautham.Sreekar gave him an awkward smile and rubbed his  neck while glancing at Swetha from the corner of his eyes, who just descended the steps.“Hai Gautham! I …, that …, actually …”, faltered in his  words which made Gautham stare at him with raised eyebrows.Watching his suspicious looks, Sreekar immediately responded, collecting himself from the nervousness,“Gautham! Actually I came to my uncle’s house to inform them about my  trip to Mumbai. I thought of  seeing you  before leaving. I will be back after two days. Be ready to hang out with me. We will celebrate the weekend. Okay?”.Gautham gaped at him in astonishment and queried,“Are you my Sree? Are you really asking me to hang out? Oh my god! Who changed you  to your  earlier version. I am very happy to see you  so jovial”, unable to control his content, Gautham hugged him tightly.Sreekar reciprocated the hug and glanced at Swetha who was  looking at him eagerly. He passed her a charming smile which made her heart flutter with ecstacy.“I will leave now and see you on saturday. I have something to tell you about. Okay?”, informed Sreekar while glancing at Swetha which made her to nod her head in  acknowledgement.Gautham released the hug  and replied with a wide smile,“Yes! I will wait for you. The party is on me. I got my earlier Sreekar. What could be the special occasion rather than it? I will be waiting for you”.Sreekar bid bye to Gautham and without his notice, he glanced at Swetha and mouthed bye to Swetha for which she reciprocated with a warm smile.
