THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 8 :Meenakshi , wife of Chandra Mohan, who came out hearing the chaos, seeing Sreekar   screamed out his name.Sreekar ran to her like a child and initially hugged her but later bent down and lifted her into the air by holding her legs to spin her around.“Chinna Babu! Keep me down. I feel nauseous. Keep me down. You are no longer a kid.”, screamed Meenakshi.Sreekar kept her down, held her hands, looked into her eyes lovingly and spoke,”Aunty! Though I grew older, I will still be a kid to you. You are my godmother. I experienced all the happiness laying in your lap. Don’t you feel that I am the same kid? Do you think I have grown up to keep my distance from you”.Meenakshi's eyes glistened by hearing his words and immediately took him into her arms.“Chinna Babu! Don’t say that. You will always be my son even if you become a grandfather. Come, we will go inside. It's been so long seeing you. Didn’t you feel like seeing us? You took a long time to return”, holding his hand Meenakshi took him inside followed by Chandra Mohan, Rasi and Rohan.Everyone entered the living room and took their seats on the couches. Sreekar asked Rohan to bring the bag which was in the car. Meenakshi told Rasi to bring some water for Sreekar and sat behind him.“Chinna Babu! Would you like to have breakfast or shall I directly prepare the lunch”, queried Meenakshi.Sreekar grinned at her and questioned,”What did you prepare for the breakfast? I would like to eat your hand made food. If the breakfast was left, serve me some. I will eat it”.Meenakshi smiled at him widely and replied,”I prepared vada for today. Wait, I will bring it right away”,  ran to the kitchen and brought the plate filled with Vada and chutney.Sreekar took the plate and started eating while chit chatting with them. He spoke to Chandra Mohan about his job, Meenakshi about household things and her health, Rohan about his job huntings and Rasi about college stuff.After completing the breakfast, Sreekar opened the bag which Rohan brought from the car and distributed the gifts he brought for them. He took the necklace and put it around Meenakshi and queried.“Aunty! I bought it immediately after seeing this, remembering you. It looks very good on you. Did you like it?”, queried Sreekar.“Oh my god! I love it. It looks very elegant. Thank you but why such an expensive gift?”, asked Meenakshi.“Don’t see the cost Aunty. See my love in it”, said Sreekar.  Later he gave a beautiful bracelet to Rasi, an Iphone to Rohan and a branded watch for Chandra Mohan.After giving the gifts, Sreekar stood from his seat and excused himself from them to see his friend.“Aunty! I will be back within half an hour. It’s been a long time since I saw my buddy. I will visit him and come. Don’t worry, I will stay for the day”, informed Sreekar.Meenakshi nodded her head with happiness flashing over her face and replied,”Okay! Go and visit him. Meanwhile, I will prepare lunch. We can continue the conversation once you return back”.Sreekar took his shades, mobile  and left the house to see his best friend who stays in front of their house. He directly went inside, opened the gate and pressed the calling bell.When he heard the door opening sound, looked at the person who opened the door and widened his eyes, feeling surprised.
