THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 88 :Rasi and Swetha whirled back  and saw  Arjun who was heading towards them. He reached them  and hugged Swetha by sideways and wished her.“Sweths …! Thank God!  I was  worried for you. I have gone to your house  and was told  that you had already left for college. How are you?”, queried Arjun in a concerned voice.“Ajju! I am fine. Don’t worry”, replied Swetha while  reciprocating his hug.Arjun’s eyes landed on Sreekar, who was standing behind them looking furiously toward him. His jaw was  clenched tightly and his hand was tightened into fist while throwing daggers at him. Though Arjun got intimidated by his form,he felt amused with his reaction by seeing him closely to Swetha. He released Swetha and   kissed on her forehead while glancing  at Sreekar from the corner of his eyes.Sweths! I am very happy to see you back. I was frightened about you attending the exams”, Arjun expressed his fear.Arjun saw Sreekar who was  gritting his teeth feeling infuriated by seeing him kissing Swetha. Arjun was sure that  there was something between Sreekar and Swetha. He felt it as a fun provoking Sreekar and held Swetha’s hand at his chest and enquired about her preparation.“Have you prepared well for the exam? Do you want me to  help in copying my paper?”,  queried Arjun looking at her seriously.Rasi chuckled with his seriousness and taunted,“Look who was offering the help. The one who couldn’t defeat her for the past two years, wishes to help her”.Arjun gave an awkward smile whereas Swetha released  her hand from him and   punched in his shoulder.“Ajju! You know, I don’t like it”, rebuked Swetha.Arjun glanced at  Sreekar for one last time  while enjoying seeing his rising temper after watching their closeness and ushered them to the classroom for the exam.  Swetha glanced at  Sreekar from the corner of her eyes before leaving the place and was perplexed with his usual cold demeanor. Before she could analyse the situation, Arjun ushered her towards the classroom.Once they were out of their sight, Robert and Steven reached Sreekar who lost in his own thoughts while gazing at the direction towards which Swetha and others left. He was startled  by hearing Robert’s voice.“Good morning Boss! We will take charge  of the place. You can go for work”, suggested Robert.Sreekar nodded his head negatively and replied,“You people keep an eye on surroundings. I will wait for her to complete the exam”.By noticing the determination in his voice, Robert and Steven left the place to check the surroundings. By the time the exam was completed, Sreekar waited at the parking lot as if just arrived to pick them up.“Brother! Why did you come again? We would have gone by auto? Why do you take  the trouble?”,queried   Rasi, seeing his brother alighting from the car.Sreekar gave a warm smile to her and  replied while glancing at Swetha from the corner of his eyes,“Never mind. I  thought of picking you, being the first day of your exam. How did your exam go?”.Rasi nodded her head cheerfully and replied,“Yes! It went great. Swetha also did well. Nothing can break her when it comes to studies”.Sreekar darted his eyes towards Swetha who was standing beside Rasi keeping her head down and felt proud of her by hearing Rasi’s words. Later he drove them back home after they bid bye to their friends.For the next exams, Rasi  and Swetha went on their own without troubling Sreekar. But they were not aware of  his presence in the college for all their exams, watching the surroundings  to prevent any danger and ensure Swetha’s safety  from Jayasurya.Sreekar was sure that Jayasurya would move his cards once he was out of Swetha’s sight and made himself available to keep an eye on her for all the exams. He wants to ensure her attempting all her exams successfully without any disturbance. Along with Robert and Steven, he arranged a few of his men to stay near to Swetha’s room floor pretending to be lecturers checking the students with the help of the Principal.Though he had encountered tribulations at his recent Switzerland’s project which required his attention and presence, he didn’t leave Swetha alone and stalked her like a shadow. He was sure of Jayasurya being behind all these troubles being one of the alliances in that project. Sreekar was ready to go to any extent for Swetha’s safety even if he needs to lose the project but not her. He booked a ticket on her last exam day and was waiting her to complete her exams. After waiting like an eternity, they completed their exams successfully and had fun on campus for a while. Later Rasi and Swetha returned back home.After watching Swetha leaving safely while guarded by Robert and Steven, Sreekar left to home to get his luggage. He wished to see Meenakshi and Chandra Mohan before leaving for the airport. Once he entered the house and was heading towards his room, he was stopped by his mother.“Sree! What am I hearing? There is trouble at the project and you ignored it for a week. What’s wrong with you? Do you imagine how our reputation will be ruined if we lose that project?”, exclaimed Bhuvaneswari Devi.“Mom! Don’t worry. I am heading to that place. I will settle everything and no one can chase me out of that project”, pacified Sreekar.“Why didn’t you leave earlier? Is it true that you are babysitting that girl?”,enquired Bhuvaneswari Devi.Sreekar gaped at her in astonishment and by watching her scrutinizing gazes,he darted his looks here and there ignoring her question.“Why are you silent, Sree! Is it true you are babysitting that girl? What’s wrong with you? Is she more important than your dream project?”,rebuked Bhuvaneswari Devi.“Mom! Please stop it. I don’t want to speak about it. I myself am not sure why I am doing all this. Flight time is nearing and I need to leave. We will have this conversation once I return back”, exclaimed Sreekar and rushed to his room, escaping from her further questions.Bhuvaneswri Devi kept staring at the disappearing figure of Sreekar, astounded by his behavior, contemplating his feelings towards Swetha.Without realizing the storm rising in his mother’s heart, Sreekar got ready and left with his luggage towards Meenakshi’s house.Swetha, after returning from the college, went to her room and refreshed herself. Later she called Arjun and enquired about their arrival to Rasi’s house as they had planned to reveal their love story to Rasi’s parents. After completing the call, Swetha headed towards Rasi’s house.By the time Swetha entered the living room, Everyone was sitting leisurely having their coffee. They all spun their heads towards Swetha and welcomed her.“Come Swetha! Would you like to have coffee?”, queried Meenakshi while stretching her one hand  to let Swetha sit beside her.Swetha smiled at  them nodding her head negatively and replied,“Thank you aunty. I have already had it”.Swetha took her hand  but instead of sitting beside her, she knelt in front of  her  and looked at Meenakshi and Chandra Mohan.“I wish to speak with you but request you  to be calm  till I complete it”, requested Swetha.Meenakshi and Chandra Mohan exchanged their looks and  shifted their eyes towards Swetha being bewildered.“Sweths …!”, screamed Rasi feeling terrified about her conversation.Everyone looked at Rasi and turned towards Swetha, eyeing her suspiciously.Swetha took a  deep breath and started to explain what she wished to tell them.“Aunt! Uncle! I respect you from the bottom of my heart  and I never wished to  deceive you people. I should have tole you earlier but  was frightened for your  reaction for hiding it from you. Actually Rasi should tell you about this but I don’t want to hide in the dark making myself an  escape goat from your wrath after learning the truth. I don’t want to carry the guilt for long hiding it from you. Rasi and Arjun were in love for the past few  months and would like to inform you  once we complete the exams. Arjun wished to come along with his parents to askfor Rasi’s hand. I don’t want you to feel anxious with the sudden resolution and would like  to make you aware of their love”, explained Swetha.Rasi stood frozen in her place whereas Meenakshi, Chandra Mohan and ROhan stared at Swetha being stupefied. Swetha glanced  at them trying to predict their thoughts but the astonishment on their faces didn’t help her to read them.“Aunt! uncle! I am sorry for keeping this important matter away from you but I swear I didn’t want to. I was caught up in my friendship. You all knew about Arjun and his family. He is a very kindhearted, decent and from a wealthy background with good ethics and culture. He loves Rasi from the bottom of his heart and would cherish her  for the rest of his life. On behalf of them, I request you  to think twice before jumping into any conclusion”, pleaded Swetha.“How dare you?” A roar echoed in the  hall frightening everyone with the dangerous voice.
