THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 79 :As usual Swetha went to the college along with Rasi to have a chitchat with their friends and to collect their hall ticket as the day after they have the exams. They collected their hall tickets and gathered at their regular place to talk for a while. Priya and Rakesh teased both the couples about their marriage life after completing the exams. Arjun, Rasi, Neeraja and Vivek blushed for their comments and when it went out of boundary they reprimanded them for going too far.Everyone’s attention turned towards Swetha and eyed her as if they got a new prey to bounce on. Swetha gaped at them feeling afraid for their enquiry.“Swetha! Who are you going to get married to? You are aware that once your exams get completed, your father will settle your marriage according to his choice. You didn’t fall for anyone in our college. So are you going to get married according to your father’s choice?”, queried Rakesh.Swetha stared at him for a while thinking of her father and his decision while sending her for further education. She promised him to get married according to his choice once she completes her education. She didn’t have any problem while promising him at that time but now when she thinks of it, she felt like she was missing something or someone which she couldn’t decipher.“Hey! What’s wrong? Where were you lost? Did you fall for anyone without our knowledge which makes you hesitate to answer”, teased Rakesh.Swetha came out of the bubble of her thoughts and gaped at Rakesh in astonishment for his words.“No! No! No way! I will not go against my father. He will be the one who decides my marriage”, words rushed from her mouth immediately.“Hahaha! See how scary she was. I was just kidding”, pacified  Rakesh.When they were happily teasing one and another floating in their own world, someone came and called Arjun.“Arjun! Principal sir is asking for you”, informed one of the students.Arjun stared at him perplexed and shifted his eyes towards his friends exchanging glances with them.“Why would he call me?”, complained Arjun.“He didn’t say the reason but asked for you’, confirmed the same student.Without speaking anything, Arjun asked Swetha and Rasi to wait for him and left them along with Rakesh leaving Vivek with them. They all glanced at Arjun till he was out of sight and bickered between themselves for the reason behind the Principal's call. They all stopped their talks by hearing a voice.“Hai sweetheart!”.Swetha whirled her head immediately after hearing the voice. Her heart palpitates  by seeing the person in front of her foreboding the danger with his presence. Rasi was baffled to see him for the first time after that encounter with him. She immediately held Swetha’s shoulder who was trembling in fear.“What are you looking at? Don’t you want to take back what you have given to me”, taunted Rana giving a sinister smile.Swetha immediately rose to her feet and shuddered under his menacing gazes feeling terrible. All her friends stood beside her giving her the support to be bold.Rana took predatory steps towards her and spoke in a dangerous voice,“Don’t you want to experience what real humiliation looks like? I will make you see the hell for humiliating me in front of all the students. Now I am going to do the same, humiliating you in front of all the students by abusing you which will be a nightmare for the rest of your life”.Swetha was petrified by his words and immediately turned back on her heels and tried to run away from there. But Rana caught her through her braid before she could go far enough from him and pulled her back onto his chest. Her friends tried to reach them to save Swetha but Rana’s men blocked them from reaching her.“Noooo! Leave me! Please leave me!”Swetha wiggled in his hands to get away from his clutch.“Come on Babe! The show has not yet started. Why are you making it a big deal?” scoffed Rana holding her tightly through her waist with one hand and the braid with the other.All the students froze at their place when they saw the incident that was happening in front of their eyes. No one dared to move from their place glued to their spot by seeing the men who were with Rana who were looking very dangerously.“You feel very proud of your beauty, your figure and mainly your braid! Isn't it? Today I will crush your arrogance, pride and your vanity under my feet”, spilled the venom in his words and Rana left her waist while holding her braid very tightly making her stand near to him almost her back touching his front.Later he took a scissor from one of his men and cut her braid up to her neck which made Swetha feel mortified and humiliated. A stream of tears ran from her eyes feeling embarrassed to go through such a humiliation and tried to retreat herself from him.Once she  felt the loosening of the grip, she fell to the ground on her knees closing her face with her palms feeling ashamed and cried out loud. She never went through such a humiliation and was  feeling tormented.Her friends tried to reach her but Ranas men  didn’t allow them to move from their place, blocking them. They cursed Rana for his atrocity and yelled at him to leave her.Rana laughed out loud like a maniac and sneered,“Don’t waste all your tears for this trivial deed. You have to see more events which are waiting for you. I want to see the blood running out of your eyes rather than the tears”.Swetha flinched for his words and stared at him while trembling in fear like a deer caught in the lion’s cage. She whirled her gazes throughout the campus looking for someone to rescue her.
