THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 76 :Swetha couldn’t concentrate on the classes as her brain is rotating around the incident that happened at Arjun’S flat. It took all her strength to control herself to not burst out in front of Rasi and Arjun. She forced herself to interact with her friends like normally.She can see the guilt in Arjun’s eyes and tries to console him not to carry the guiltiness in his heart. She felt dejected when Arjun left the college unable to see her in pain. She was totally exhausted by the end of the day with all the emotions that had clouded her mind.At the end of the day, after completing the classes, everyone came out of the classroom. Swetha and Rasi waited in the  college compound whereas the others got ready to leave.“Rasi! Will your brother come in time? Are you sure of us leaving you people here alone?”, queried Neeraja.“Yes Neeru! He will come soon. Don’t worry. You people leave”, answered Rasi.With the assurance of Rasi, everyone were about to move from there but got halted by hearing the voice.“Hey Neeru! Completed your classes?”, queried Akash, who came to pick her up.Neeraja was dumbfounded by seeing Akash come to pick her up as she was planning to leave with Vivek. Vivek and Neeraja steal glances between them and look at Akash.“Hey Neeru! Why do you look shocked? Didn’t you expect me here? Mom told that you left your vehicle at home and came by cab.  I was on the way home and thought of picking you. Come let’s go”, explained Akash.Later he turned to Swetha and gave a warm smile while speaking,“Hai Swetha! I couldn’t meet you after that party. Due to the business work in London, I need to stay there for a couple of months. How are you? How are your studies going?”.Swetha felt very awkward by seeing the admiration in his eyes and downcasted her eyelashes while tucking the strands of her hair behind her ear. She can sense that something was wrong with him from the day of his birthday.But due to the respect she had for him, she reciprocated the smile and nodded her head in acknowledgement while answering,“Hello Sir! I am fine and studies were good. How are you sir?”.Akash gazed at her with knitted eyebrows, took a step ahead to her and queried,What happened? Why are you looking gloomy? What happened to your regular glory?”.Swetha gaped at him in astonishment and composed herself by giving an innocent smile and replied,“No sir! I am fine. Nothing is wrong”.Akash glanced at her for a while and later shook his head while saying,“I don’t think so. Something is bothering you. If you have any problem you can share. I feel you as our family”.Swetha shook her head denying nothing was wrong with her. Without pushing her to the edge, Akash took Neeraja and left the place after bidding bye to everyone.They all left the college leaving them both behind. Rasi and Swetha,  after waiting for a few minutes, walked towards the nearest tree to sit on the bench that was available under the tree. They almost reached  the place, but Swetha halted in her steps due to the sudden hit she got on her  ass.Swetha whirled back to see the person who hit her and felt  infuriated by seeing the person and at the same time  was ashamed and humiliated.“like the touch? Looks like you had a good time  at Arjun’s flat yesterday”, sneered Rana.Rana, who saw them striking towards the bench, followed them and once nearing Swetha,he slapped on her ass  which was his wish for a long time.A pool of tears formed in Swetha’s eyes for the humiliation and without any second thought she raised her hand and gave a tight slap across Rana’s face with utmost force. Rasi gaped at them being dumbfounded for the sudden incident who was unaware of the stunt that Rana had pulled.“How dare you slap me?”, growled Rana and tried to grab her shoulder giving a dangerous look.Rasi immediately came in the middle and tried to push Rana but he jolted her back making her stumble on her feet and fall to the ground.“Rasi …!”, screamed Swetha, feeling terrified with Rana’s actions.Swetha was petrified with his  menacing form  and took a step back while closing her eyes in fear. She was waiting for him to hit her but nothing had come in touch which made her open eyes .
