THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 75 :Though they didn’t realize their love for each other , though they didn’t confess to each other, their soul’s understood the bonding between them and the misinterpretation that took place between them drowned them into a pit of misery. Sreekar went through the heartbreak and Swetha was experiencing the agony of  getting wronged in the eyes of Sreekar.Both were unaware of the fact that someone, somewhere was having fun  for their misfortune. Lalitha, who kept a stalker to track  the movements of Sreekar, got to know about the incident and was delighted to learn about Sreekar’s wrong perception towards Swetha. She believed that Sreekar will never go near Swetha after that incident.The following day ...Swetha got ready for college as usual by pushing the turmoil that was rising in her heart to the bottom of it. She masked a fake smile on her face and wished everyone in the house. Archana, wife of Gautham, eyed Swetha suspiciously and waited for a chance to confront Swetha personally. Archana followed Swetha when she was leaving for the college and blocked her way at the gate.“Sister in law! What’s wrong? Do you want anything?” queried Swetha showing a  smile on her face.Archana glanced at her seriously and questioned,”Is anything wrong  with you? Why do  you look so gloomy?”.Swetha was caught off guard with her question and stood dumbfounded staring at her. After a while she forced a wide smile on her face and replied.“Sister in law! Why will I look gloomy when nothing is wrong with me? Are you daydreaming?”.Archana shook her head and retarted,“Your eyes were not carrying the usual glory which says that you are hiding something”.Swetha laughed at Archana and held her hand while replying,“Sister in law! Thank you for your  concern but  I am really good. Don’t get worried unnecessarily”.After assuring Archana, Swetha bid bye to her and left for college along with Rasi.Swetha tried to be normal like regularly hiding the storm in her heart. But Arjun could acknowledge the agony she was going through by seeing the pain hidden behind her eyes. He felt dejected to put Swetha in such a condition and excused himself by lying about the work he had in his company and left the college earlier than them.On the other end, Sreekar woke up  late with a heavy hangover. He sat  straight on the bed holding his head in his palms. He shook his head to get out of the  feeling but it made him feel the pain more.“HANGOVER? Take this tablet. It will help you”.Sreekar immediately spun his head towards the voice and gaped at him in astonishment.Gautham! You ...! how ...! How are you here?”, queried Sreekar, glancing at him with widened eyes.Gautham, without uttering a single word came near Sreekar and handed the tablet with one hand and water with the other while looking at him seriously.Sreekr kept quiet, took the tablet and gulped it with the water that Gautham gave. Later he kept his head down looking at his lap, unable to look into Gautham’s eyes.He felt the sinking of the bed and raised his head to see Gautham sitting opposite to him. Gautham was giving a stern look with disappointment written all over his face.“I was disappointed with your actions. What’s wrong with you? Who is that girl  who whipped you totally?”, queried Gautham.Sreekar gaped at him with widened eyes almost popping out  his eyeballs“Girl ...?Which girl ...? Did I say something when I was drunk”, enquired Sreekar feeling terrible about exposing Swetha.“Boss! You kept asking continuously why she went with another man”, answered Deepak who entered the room giving the hint that Gautham doesn’t know anything.Gautham gave Deepak a threatening look and  rebuked,“Are you hinting to him that I don’t know anything?”.Deepak gave an awkward smile nodding his head in denial whereas Sreekar heaved a huge sigh in relief.“Nothing is there, Gautham! I am perfectly fine. It’s just a disturbance,nothing more”, assured Sreekar.“Disturbance! my foot! You say it’s just a disturbance? Do you know how you were drunk last night? You kept  sobbing in the public! Throughout the way you kept wailing! you say it’s just a disturbance for all your actions?”, reprimanded Gautham.Sreekar didn’t speak a word while trying to remember his actions last night. He recollected all  the stunts he  pulled and felt ashamed for losing his rationality for a woman.“I am sorry for troubling you, Gautham! It will never get repeated”, apologized Sreekar.“I am concerned for your pain and you say you troubled me with your actions. I am worried about the agony you are carrying. What happened and who is that girl? Are you in love with someone? Did she betray you?”, bombarded with his questions.Sreekar shook his head in denial and replied,“No! Not at all! I am not a fool to fall in love. It’s just an attraction and I was infuriated to see her with another man  while giving wrong signals to me. Nothing more than that. Now I am clean in my mind”.Gautham glanced at him with narrowed eyes and queried,“Who is that lady?”.“You don’t need to know. That was the end of the story. You are not aware of her”, lied Sreekar.Gautham gazed at Sreekar for a while which made  Sreekar move uncomfortably in his place. Later Gautham placed his hand on Sreeekar’s shoulder and expressed his feelings.“I was panicked to  see you in that condition. I never saw you in such a vulnerable state. Tell me  the truth. If you really have feelings for that girl, I personally go and speak to that lady”, assured Gautham.Sreekar looked at Gautham with mixed emotions and later shook his head in denial.“No Gautham! I don’t have anything toward her. I am not a fool to go behind a person who  is into someone. Let’s stop this discussion here. I don’t want to speak about it anymore”, after putting an end to the conversation, Sreekar headed towards the washroom.Gautham shared a look with Deepak, heaved a sigh and left the room  gesturing to Deepak to  follow him. By the time Sreekar entered the living room, ready with his business attire for the office, Gautham and Deepak were waiting at the dining hall for breakfast.They had their breakfast in silence and drove to their respective destination, dropping Gautham at his workplace.Sreekar couldn’t erase the picture of Swetha being with Arjun throughout the day and couldn’t concentrate on the work. He wants  to get rid of her thoughts but they bounce back  into his brain like a ball hit against  a wall. He kept snapping at everyone  for even a simple mistake. After realizing his state of mind, Sreekar took a break and left the office alone.
