THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 64 :Swetha realized the person as Lalitha, the same woman who came with Sreekar for the function and remembered that she was the same person whom she saw in the food point at the mall along with Sreekar.Lalitha excused herself to call Sreekar for the meals and went to call him. Before she could reach him, she saw him trailing behind Swetha and followed him. She saw each and every intimacy moment of them and boiled with anger. She can see how he handled Swetha with gentle and care as if she was a delicate and fragile woman who was very precious to him.Swetha can feel the fury in Lalitha’s face and the malice looks she was giving to her but couldn’t acknowledge the reason behind it.Lalitha came near to her glaring at her furiously while gritting her teeth. She was spilling the venom in her looks as if she wanted to burn Swetha alive with her looks.“What the hell do you think you are doing? Do you want to seduce him? Do you know who I am? I am his future wife who matches his status, fame and wealth. How dare you try to entrap my man? How do you think you match his status? You are a mere middle class woman from a village unaware of the fashion, latest trends and socializing with the people. Being  a country woman, trying to climb to high status  using him as a ladder. I never allow a gold digger like you succeed in achieving him. I will see your end if you go near him again”, rebuked Lalitha, spilling all venom filled words and slapped Swetha across her face to release her fury.Swetha stood still baffled with her accusations and was flabbergasted by her slap and held her cheek feeling the pain. Lalitha turned back on her heels and left the place leaving Swetha in a confused state. Rather than the pain on her cheek, Lalitha’s words were piercing her heart like an arrow throwing her into a pit of agony. She never endure such a humiliation in her entire life and was feeling ashamed of herself to be in such a condition.Swetha didn’t understand when she tried to  attract Sreekar when they hardly spoke to each  other. He was never gentle or friendly to her to go closer. She couldn’t understand how Lalitha misunderstood her trying to woo Sreekar and what made  her think she was a  gold digger when she had enough from her father. Does the earlier intimacy made her think that something was happening between them. But why did Sreekar was so intimate with her when they never share even a simple conversation. Each  and every word of Lalitha and the intimacy with Sreekar was swirling around her brain like a whirlwind, confusing her.Swetha doesn’t know  how long she stood there but feeling the numbness in her legs, she came into her  senses and slowly wiped her tears which were continuously falling from her eyes,  reminiscing Lalitha’s each and every word.She headed to the restroom and washed her face to erase all the stains on her face formed due to the tears and headed towards the food section to meet her friends.On the way she was stopped by Kamal who was looking at her with concern.“What’s wrong with you? Why are you looking so lost? Is anything wrong?”, queried Kamal with a concerned voice.Swetha glanced at him with a heavy heart feeling overwhelmed with his concern. She controlled the urge of   pouring all her pain and gave a  small smile at him.“nothing brother in law. I was just tired”, excused Swetha and left from there.By the time she reached the food section, Arjun came for the marriage and joined their friends at the meals and were  almost completed.“Where have you been? We were waiting for you for a long time?”, complained Rasi.Swetha, without meeting their eyes, slowly whispered,“I was feeling tired. I went to wash my face to relax myself. Have you people had the food? Do you need anything?”.Arjun spun his head towards her by hearing the  low energy in her voice and reached her.  He held her shoulder, looking directly into her eyes, he queried,“What happened? Did anyone hurt you? Why do you look gloomy?”.Swetha gave him a wide smile pushing all her pain beneath her heart and replied,“Ajju! Why do you exaggerate things? Who can dare to hurt me when you all were there to protect me?Nothing had happened rather than being tired”.Arjun glanced at her suspiciously for a while and after seeing her being cheerful he pushed away his doubts and interacted with others. After  completing their meals they headed towards the mandap whereas Swetha’s eyes traveled across the hall to have a  glance of Sreekar but was not found anywhere.
