THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 5 :Swetha went to the emergency room along with Arjun followed by their friends Neeraja, Priya, Vivek and Rakesh. The nurse treated his wounds while Swetha helped her in wrapping the bandages for his wounds.Arjun kept silent throughout the process though the wounds were hurting him like hell. He couldnât understand why he was treated in such a way by a stranger whom he never saw in his life. He came out of his thoughts by hearing Swethaâs voice.âWho is that person Ajju? Why did he beat you to hell?â, queried Swetha.âYou won't believe if I say that this is the first time seeing him. I donât even know why I was beaten like thisâ, heaving a huge sigh Arjun replied.Swetha gaped at him in astonishment and queried, âWhat? But why did he have the hostility with you if you never saw himâ.Arjun looked at her for a while and replied, âActually he was saying that I bullied his sister. He saw me yesterday when I was with his sister. But I never saw any girl other than Raasi. I went to meet her at your placeâ.âBut Raasi's brother is Rohan. Who is this new guy? Did he mistake you for some other? He didnât even apologize to you for doing this? He is a very arrogant idiotâ, Swetha started scolding Sreekar using all the words in this universe.Everyone laughed out loud by hearing her curses. Neeraja flicked at Swethaâs forehead with her palm and teased her.âDo you even know how to scold a person? Whatever you said, do you mean it as scolding? Cursing him to meet with an accident without any injuries, tumbling on steps without any bone damages, all these come under scolding for you. Even a kid can easily scold a person using some filthy words. Why are you so innocent? Shall I teach you some words? You can scold him saying b**...â, Before Neeraja could complete her sentence Arjun stopped her immediately.âNeeraja! Stop it. What are you teaching her? Donât destroy her innocence by teaching crazy words. I donât appreciate itâ, scolded Arjun.Neeraja rolled her eyes at Arjun and replied, âI am not spoiling your precious friend. I am just teaching her how to scold a person in case she ever encounters such jerks in the futureâ.âWe are always there for her to give back up. She doesnât need to learn crazy things. Let her be the same innocent and elegant woman. Donât let her learn the city cultureâ, reprimanded Arjun.Neeraja felt very annoyed for his protectiveness towards Swetha and complained to her, âSee how he is scolding me. He feels that I am a bad influence on youâ.Swetha gave a cheerful smile to her and locked her hands around her shoulders. She coaxed her saying, âNo Neeraja. You are not a bad influence on me. I have learned a lot after earning you peopleâs friendship. I will be very grateful to you people for making me feel comfortable at this college despite being a village girlâ.Neeraja took her hand, locked in her palms and said, âSwetha! Donât say that. Really we should be grateful for your friendship. Your innocence, mischievousness, helping nature and your kind heart made us realize how robotically we are living in the city. You really cheered our lives teaching us to find joy and happiness even in the simple things. I always felt that wealth is the only thing which gives us happiness but after your friendship, I feel like happiness totally doesnât come from wealthâ.Neeraja was a spoiled brat from a wealthy family and was supposed to go abroad for her further studies. Due to some unexpected situations she had to cancel her admission in the foreign country and join the local college. In the earlier days of joining the college, she used to be very arrogant, proud and egoistic which made her left over from the other students. But Swetha gives her attention to Neeraja whenever she is in need of any company or to accompany for any work in the college. Swetha never fails to stretch her hands to help Neeraja whenever she is in need of any help. Neerajaâs attitude slowly changed with the kindness, politeness, and loving nature of Swetha. Neeraja understood the genuine love and care between the friends and slowly became one of them. Not only Neeraja, but her family members and her brother admire Swetha for bringing such a drastic change in Neerajaâs demeanor.
