THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 56 : Swetha, after glancing Sreekar for the last time ran into her room and got ready for the college. She went to the college along with Rasi and went to see their regular place to see their friends. By seeing the scene infront of them she and Rasi was astounded and gasped heavily with  their mouths hung open.Swetha ran towards Neeraja who was hugging Vivek while accepting the flowers he was offering to her.“Oh my goodness! When did this happen? Don’t you people think of informing us? You cheaters”. Swetha started hitting Vivek and Neeraja.Rasi rushed towards them and with the help of Priya and Rakesh grabbed Swetha away from them.“Sweths! Don’t be angry. We were supposed to tell you once you come to the college. Believe us. You are the first one we thought of informing but last night you left the party and even Rasi was not there. Arjun told us you had some emergency and left the party. We thought of informing you once you come to the college”, explained Vivek.Swetha glared at them for a while and later took them into her arms giving them the side hug congratulating them.“Oh god! I am very happy for you both. How and when did this happen? Last night I didn't know how I got home. I drank something which made me feel tipsy and I didn’t remember anything. But I am very happy for you and congratulations for you both. Tell me how it happened?”, exclaimed Swetha.Neeraja blushed at her question and glanced at Vivek while explaining,”Last night while dancing he confessed to me his feelings which shocked me even to give the response. He understood my dilemma and asked me to reply at the college. Though I had feelings for him, I was not sure about his response which made me keep quiet for a long time. His confession gave me the courage to express my feelings towards him and just  a few minutes back I accepted his love”.Swetha jumped on her feet along with Rasi and Priya feeling overjoyed and started teasing them. Rakesh too joined them punching Vivek in his arms.“Please yaar! Stop it. It is too embarrassing and you are making us get the attention of others. Please keep it a secret till we complete college. We don’t want to be in the college gossip”, pleaded Vivek.Swetha held his hand and jumped on her feet while laughing, exclaimed,“Vicky! We need the treat for your success. We will keep this as a secret. No problem but you should treat us immediately”.Vivek shook his head and replied while smiling,“Sure! You will be treated with you favorite ice cream and also others with their favorite”.Swetha checked the surroundings and queried ,“Where is Ajju? Why has he not come till now?”.“His father asked him to accompany him to the office as he needed to sign some documents. He will be here soon”, informed Rasi.Everyone laughed for  a while teasing each other having their entertainment and headed towards their class once the bell rang.“Wow! Look who is here? Today her puppy is nowhere to be seen. Where is he who keeps trailing behind you like a tail? Tell me  baby?”, a teasing voice made them stop in their tracks.Everyone whirled towards the direction of the voice and saw Rana who was standing along with his friends. He is the son of a wealthy businessman in the city which makes him behave very arrogant, proud and always rags his co students.From the first day of the college his eyes were on Swetha who looked very innocent, pure  and simple. He wants to bully her and make her fall on her knees at his feet which was not successful because of Arjun’s protection towards her.Swetha face become pale by seeing him and hide behind Vivek trying to calm her heart which was pounding rapidly due to the fear. Both Rakesh and vivek stood like a shield in front of her whereas Neeraja, Rasi and Priya tried to calm her standing by her side.“What? Are you people taking the job of guarding her? Where is that puppy who always keeps trailing behind her? Leave her alone and go to your classes. Otherwise the consequences will be different”, threatened Rana.Neeraja immediately took a step ahead and rebuked,“Don’t forget that I am still here. Do you want to go against me? Don’t dare to offend me, Rana”.Rana glared at her and reprimanded,“You can’t threaten me with your words Neeru? This is not our parents' business matters. It is between me and her. Leave from here”.Neeraja glared at him with a disgusted face and yelled,“Don’t call me that. I feel disgusting and get nauseated with your words”.“You stupid woman”, roared Rana and took a few steps ahead but got halted in his way by hearing a voice.“Rana ...!”.
