THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 53 :Swetha stood still in her place being in a  daze with Sreekar’s actions. She came into her senses when Rasi tapped on her shoulder jolting her back to this world.“Hey Sweths! Where are you? Are you still in the dreamland of being friends with my Sreekar brother?”, teased Rasi.Swetha gaped at her in an astoundment bulging out her eyeballs like saucers by hearing her words.“Wh …, What are you saying?”, queried Swetha.Rasi explained everything that happened last night very dramatically, making all dreamy faces embarrassing Swetha for her stunts which she pulled out while being tipsy.Swetha, who didn’t remember much about last night other than being carried out by Sreekar to the car and placing her inside it, slowly recollected each and everything that happened between them.Her cheeks turned to tomato red and her ears heated up by remembering the short kiss they shared last night. She tapped her cheeks to get out of that feeling when Rasi was not noticing her. She felt very ashamed of doing such things to Sreekar and couldn’t understand whether it was the reason for his change in his demeanor.She want to swallow by the earth when Rasi told her about her hugging him from the back of the car seat addressing them as friends. She closed her face with both her palms when Rasi informed her about Sreekar carrying her into the house in front of all the family members. She even learned from Rasi how Sreekar mistook her for Rohan’s girlfriend.Swetha understood the reason behind the change in Sreekar’s demeanor when Rasi informed about Meenakshi disclosing the Rohan’s suicide matter and how Swetha rescued him from the death. She understood why he thanked him so suddenly for saving his brother.She couldn’t stay there after learning everything that happened last night due to her tipsiness. Feeling awkward to show her face to the other people, she ran away from there informing Rasi after confirming that her family members didn't know anything.While crossing the gate she met Sreekar who was on the call speaking to his PA Deepak. Sreekar who was engrossed in a conversation with Deepak glanced at her who stood like a statue after seeing him.Swetha recollected all the earlier conversation with Rasi, recollecting all the    moments she went through with Sreekar which made her blush more in front of him. Her eyes instantly traveled to his lips, reminiscing the kiss they had in the car.Sreekar acknowledged her flushed face and by seeing her eyes landing on his lips, instantly understood what she was thinking. A naughty smirk played on his lips  which made her feel more embarrassed and immediately turned back to leave the place.But realizing that she is again going into Rasi’s home,she stopped in her tracks and spun back to run towards their house.Giving a last look at Sreekar who was glancing at her with amusement, Swetha ran towards their house without turning back  and entered the living room. She wished to hide herself in the room before she could get noticed by their family members. When she was just about to ascend the stairs, she heard her Aunt Mahalaxmi calling her.“Swetha …!”, yelled Mahalaxmi.*****Hai readers, sorry for the delay in updating the chapter.  I fell sick for the past three days and today being the last day for the emerging writer award contest I  forced myself to publish my story Conquered By My First Crush which is under this contest  last night to complete the story in time.
