THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 51 :By hearing Sreekar’s words Rasi felt very anxious and   shaken all over her body as if the earth beneath her legs   opened and swallowed her into it.Chandra Mohan smiled at Sreekar and replied,“I never opposed your decision. I will surely oblige your wish but if the groom will be of our status, not yours. Remember that”.Sreekar slowly reached him and held his hand complaining,“Don’t I have the right to choose a groom according to my wish which can be  accepted by you people? Why do you differentiate the status between us?”.Chandra Mohan took his hand and replied while gently squeezing it,“Chinna babu! You have all the rights to take the decision and I know your love for them. But if I send her to a high status family, we couldn’t compete with them in the future with my middle class earnings. Understand my situation without getting offended”.Sreekar lowered his head for a while and raised his eyes into his uncle’s eyes while replying,“Sure uncle. I will not let you down in front of the groom’s family’s eyes. I promise”.Later they all moved to their rooms as it was late at night and went to sleep. Sreekar went to his room but couldn’t close his eyes as Swetha’s face was flashing in his mind continuously.The way she held him in his arms, the way her lips felt on his, the way their body got in touch, everything kept disturbing him making him restless.His heart was fluttering with joy by realizing the relation between Rohan and Swetha. His heart was floating in the sky feeling ecstasy. Though his brain keeps taunting him for thinking of a woman, his heart is not ready to mind it.Suddenly the realization dawned on him and remembered Arjun with whom she was intimate at the party. The first meeting with her was when she tried to save him. At the party, the way they behaved with each other gave the couple a look and Sreekar’s heart sunk into his stomach feeling dejected.He had only one thought about her  that if she didn't have any feelings for Arjun, she wouldn’t dare to offend him in the college when all others kept staring at him without getting involved.Sreekar kept stirring on the bed throughout the night, unable to get to sleep. At last he dozed into slumber early in the morning. Though he slept very late, he woke up by 7 in the morning and completed his daily routine. He remembered the events of last night and a small smile appeared on his lips. He was curious to know her reaction once she got sober which made him move towards Rasi’s room carrying a tablet for releasing her hangover.Swetha slowly woke up from her slumber and held her head with both her hands. Unable to bear the heaviness in the head, she slowly sat up and pressed her head with her palms.She was still feeling dizzy and felt like sleeping once again. Before she could decide what to do, she heard the footsteps and mistaking it for Rasi, she complained.“Rasi! My head is throbbing heavily. I feel like someone is banging with a hammer. Do something please”, without looking at the person, she requested.Not getting any response from Rasi, Swetha raised her head and was about to reprimand her but by seeing the person she gaped at him in astonishment while her eyes bulged out with fear.All the events that happened last night flashed in her mind after seeing Sreekar and feeling terrible in her heart she opened her mouth to scream for help from Rasi or Rohan. Predicting her reaction, Sreekar gave a stern look to stop her from screaming.Swetha immediately restrained herself from screaming by closing her mouth with her palms. She kept staring at him with widened eyes while her heart was pumping fastly. The room was so silent that Sreekar could hear her rapid heartbeat.
