THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 36 :Swetha stared at Sreekar with widened eyes in a shock feeling that her eyeballs would fall out of its sockets. Her jaw hung open and no word was coming out from her mouth being dumbfounded with his attack.Sreekar glared at her with fiery eyes for a while and later he darted his eyes towards the direction of Akash and again returned to Swetha with a questioning look.Swetha's eyes  traveled along with his eye’s direction and realized what he meant. She doesn’t need any words from him to understand what is going on in his mind.Swetha shook her head vigorously and replied,“No. I have not come with him. I met him here in the mall. I came with Rasi and Neeraja and he is Neeraja’s brother. He is giving me company while waiting for Rasi and Neeraja. They will be here within five minutes”, explained Swetha, though she couldn’t understand why she was explaining everything to him when she didn't need to give any explanation.Sreekar glanced at her with knitted eyebrows startling her with the sharp look in his eyes. She swallowed the lump formed in her throat and replied,“Really, I am telling the truth. Promise. You can see Rasi and Neeraja if you stay for five more minutes”.Sreekar, feeling satisfied with her answer,  took a step back giving her the space to make her feel at ease. He stared at her for a while and his eyes traveled towards her lips and stayed for a while. Swetha’s heart was thumping rapidly by his intimacy and the way he was gazing at her lips. She felt like her heart would explode due to the tension raised in her when he lifted his hand and rubbed at the corner of her lips with his thumb finger. He rubbed it so hard that he was removing any stains if present.Swetha remembered that it was the place where Akash wiped the  icecream earlier and couldn’t understand why Sreekar is bothered about it, seeing the way he is rubbing the place as if trying to remove Akash’s touch. Swetha’s breath got hitched in her throat and kept staring at him being frozen at her place. She released her breath which she was holding for a long time without realizing it, when Sreekar retreated his hand from her lips.They both stared at each other like participating in a staring competition while Sreekar’s eyes were so fierce and sharp penetrating into her soul whereas Swetha’s eyes were calm and tender mixed with fear.Sreekar gazed at her for the last time and took a few steps back to leave from there. Before moving from there, he glanced towards Akash’s direction once, darted his eyes to Swetha and showed his index finger while moving it to and fro giving a warning to be away from him. Swetha, getting petrified by noticing his eyes which turned to red indicating his fury, immediately nodded her head in approval.Sreekar felt satisfied with her response and left the place to reach the parking lot where Lalitha was waiting for him. When Swetha went to the washroom, Sreekar excused himself to make a call and asked her to wait at the parking lot as she completed the ice cream. Once Lalitha left the place, he followed the way Swetha went and completed his mission in threatening her.Lalitha, seeing Sreekar coming to the parking lot, immediately reached him and queried,“Sree! Did you complete your call? Do you have any other work? If not, why don’t you accompany me for the rest of the day”.Sreekar glanced at her and gave a small smile while replying,“No Lalli! I need to go to my uncle's house. It's been almost five days without seeing them. Aunty had called me to know the reason for not going there. I will drop you at your home and leave for my uncle’s house”.
