THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 22 :Sreekar glanced at Pratap without uttering a single word. He couldn’t deny Pratap’s proposal as he respects his uncle from the bottom of  his heart. He is there for him in every step from childhood. He is like a second father to him.Sreekar slowly nodded his head and replied, “Uncle! I will try to follow your words. But give me some time. If I couldn’t change myself or couldn't see Lalitha as my companion, you  should not force me for marriage. If we get compromised, both our families would suffer for a lifetime. Please understand me”. Pratap patted him on his shoulder and replied with a warm smile, “I told you, I treat you as my son. You and Lalitha are like my two eyes. I won’t feel happy if I hurt one of my eyes. Don’t worry. If you both have the same feelings for the marriage, we will proceed. If not, I will look for another groom. Okay!”.Sreekar nodded his head enthusiastically and replied, ”Okay uncle! I will accept it. Now please excuse me. I need to prepare for the meeting. I will surely spend some quality time with you people once I achieve this project”.Sreekar glanced at every one, nodded his head as an acknowledgement and left for his room. Once Sreekar was out of their sight, Raghavendar started reprimanding Pratap.“Are you crazy? Being a girl’s father, you should make him accept this marriage keeping his respect towards you in mind. But you are giving him the chance to realize his feelings. What If he doesn’t accept the marriage? What If he stays single for his lifetime? What happens to Lalitha if he rejects this marriage?”, scolded Raghavendar.Pratap gave him a glare and retarded,“What do you think? Should I push him to the edge and make him run away from here? Raghu! Sreekar was unable to come out of his brother’s death. If I force him to marry, both our families will suffer for a lifetime. I don’t want my daughter to suffer by getting into a forced marriage. Even if Sreekar obey’s my words, he won’t be able to give her a happy married life. Give him some time. Let them date for a few days. I am sure he will enjoy Lalitha’s company and think of marriage”.Raghavendar rethinks Pratap words and nods his head in approval. Later Pratap’s family bid bye to them and left the house.Sreekar, after entering his room, took his laptop and checked all the papers related to Switzerland's project. He made a call to Deepak and enquired about the other details which were required for the meeting. Deepak informs the time schedule of the meeting to Sreekar and asks him to be ready by that time.Swetha, after watching Sreekar leaving from the place, went down to wish her father. She took his bag and kept it in the guest room. She arranged everything for him to get fresh And went to the kitchen.“Aunty! Should I do anything?”, queried Swetha.“Yes Swetha. I am preparing breakfast for your father. You cut the vegetables and keep it ready. Once I  complete this, I will prepare the curries”, prompted Mahalaxmi.Swetha obliged her request and sat there getting ready to cut the vegetables. Once Mahalaxmi completed preparing breakfast, Swetha also completed her task. By hearing her fatherS voice Swetha went to the living room with the breakfast plate for her father. She kept it on the dining table and called her father to have it. Balaramaiah came along with Krishna Kumar and sat at the table.
