THE SILENT LOVE ...cHAPTER 21 :Sreekar glanced at his mother and replied, “Mom! Do you think it’s so easy to erase the scar? I lost trust in the relationships. Don’t force me to do the things which I am not interested in ".“Chinna Babu! We know that you are hurt with your brother’s death. But it doesn’t mean to be insecure about relationships. Your brother fell in love with the wrong person which ruined his life. But if you meet the correct person who will be loyal in their relationship then your life will blossom with happiness. Believe me. You will find happiness with Lalitha. You are acquainted with our proposal and you never showed your disinterest which made them raise their hopes on you. Think once again. Take some time and think rationally”, suggested Bhuvaneswari Devi.Raghavendar nodded his head approving her words and stated, “Yes Chinna Babu! Your mother is correct. Think rationally and make the decision. Firstly get engaged and see how life goes on. Take time and try to understand each other. I am sure that you will love her company and surely fall in love with her. Why don’t you accept the engagement?”.Sreekar glanced at Lalitha who was looking at him hopefully. His thoughts ran behind Swetha thinking how his heart thumps when she is at his sight. All the romantic feelings conquer his heart and make him float in the sky. But with Lalitha, he can only have friendly feelings, not any romantic feelings.He felt terrified to think of Swetha at that moment when it was about engagement.  He couldn’t understand why his heart always ran behind her when he didn’t want to trust any woman or allow any woman in his life. He shook his head to erase all his thoughts. He later glanced at his mother and with determination announced his decision.“Mom! I am not yet ready to make any decision. I accept that I am acquainted with the proposal, but never encouraged you about it. I neither declined the proposal as I trust you for your decisions. But it is not the same at present. My heart is unable to erase the scar formed due to brother’s death. I can't allow any woman in my life. I treat Lalitha as my childhood friend, not more than that. She is the one more lady with whom I speak along with you people after encountering the trauma. I did not allow any other woman to reach me because of my insecurities. I don’t want to ruin our friendship by entertaining her to be my companion. It might destroy our family friendship. Please think from my perspective and make wise decisions. I am not offending anyone with my words. I myself am not ready to get into any relationships", explained Sreekar and tried to move from there.“Sree, one minute”, called Pratap.Sreekar halted in his steps and glanced at Pratap to hear him. Pratap went near Sreekar, putting his hand on his shoulder and  suggested his proposal.“Sree! I have seen you since childhood. I know about you better than yourself. I can understand your state of mind. But it’s not right to be insecure of everyone. Not every lady is manipulative. If you can see the world  keeping all your insecurities aside, you can see a woman who can love a person unconditionally. Believe me, Sree. The world does not lack women who can love a person unconditionally. I don’t want you to ruin your life with your insecurities. I treat you as my son and I wish the best life for you. Listen to me. I don't compel you to get engaged immediately. You people date for a while and get accustomed to each other. If it works out and if you get out of your insecurities then we will plan for your marriage. What do you say?”, queried Pratap.
