THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 17 :Swetha was dumbfounded by his sudden gesture and shouted in fear, “Rohan! Put me down. You rascal, put me down. I feel dizzy, put me down”.Sreekar was watching them with a cold look, while a feeling of jealousy took over his heart. The way Rohan carried her and confessed to her shattered his heart.Though they never shared anything, never had any love feelings towards her, still his heart felt betrayed.Rohan slowly placed Swetha down, kissed her cheek, held her hands and spun around saying, “Sweths! I got the job. The interview went well and they had selected me. From monday I need to join the company. All this happened because of you. You wished me and sent me off with your dazzling smile to the interview. You are my lucky charm. You made me achieve my dream job”, explained with joy while spinning Swetha.Swetha jumped in joy, gave him a brief hug, kissed on his cheek and exclaimed, “Oh my god! Congratulations! I am very happy for your achievement. All the best for your career”.By hearing their chaos everyone came outside. Rohan, noticing Sreekar’s presence near them, rushed to him and shared the good news.“Brother! You are here. I didn’t notice you. Sorry brother. The interview went well and I got selected for the company. Monday is my joining day. Wish me all the best”,chirped with joy .Sreekar gave a wide smile filled with happiness and wished, “Congratulations Rohan. I am proud of you. Though I am ready to offer you a good job, you never wished to take it for granted. You wanted to achieve on your own and you succeeded in it. I really feel proud of you. I wish you all the best for your career”, and hugged him.Chandra Mohan and Meenakshi were watching them in delightment, for their son’s achievement. Swetha glanced at them but was perplexed by seeing the looks given by Sreekar. They carry the feeling of fury, hurt, hatred and agony. She couldn’t understand why he was showing so many emotions while glancing at her. Unable to carry his looks, Swetha averted her eyes from him.Sreekar and Rohan reached Chandra Mohan and Meenakshi who immediately hugged him to show their joy. Rasi jumped in joy by holding his hands. Everyone went inside and Meenakshi dragged Swetha along with them. They all sat in the living room, where Meenakshi made Swetha sit beside her.Sreekar was sitting opposite to Swetha and having the conversation with Rohan inquiring about the company and his job role. Rasi brought the sweets from the kitchen and offered them to everyone. Swetha, from the corner of her eyes, steals glances at Sreekar who is not paying any attention to her.After a while, Swetha excused herself to leave but Meenakshi compelled her to stay for dinner.“Swetha! Today is a very special day. Stay for dinner and have time with us. You are our lucky star. Without you we won’t have the fun to enjoy this special occasion”, requested Meenakshi.Swetha, observing Sreekar from the corner of her eyes, replied, ”Aunty! For this time you please carry on. Once Rohan joins the job and gets his first salary, I will have a great party. We all will enjoy that day. Excuse me now, please”.Sreekar didn’t pay any attention to Swetha who was trying to leave from there. After convincing them, Swetha left to home with a disappointed heart for Sreekar’s ignorance. She went to her room and laid on her bed.Swetha couldn’t understand the change in Sreekar’s demeanor. The person who gives her a menacing look whenever they get in touch, was ignoring her from the last couple of minutes. She would be nonchalant about it, if she didn’t see the mixed emotions in his eyes earlier. She was trying to acknowledge the reason behind his mixed feelings while glaring at her.Swetha's heart felt heavy by seeing the agony in his eyes. She couldn’t understand why his pain is affecting her. Who is he for her, to feel distressed by experiencing his pain? Who is he for her, her heart is getting shattered by seeing his gloomy face? Throughout the night, Sreekar’s fury, hatred and agonized face kept haunting her, making her deprived of sleep.Not only Swetha was deprived of sleep, Sreekar too couldn’t close his eyes as the scene of Rohan carrying Swetha was haunting him. He couldn’t understand his heart, why it is disheartened by seeing them so intimate. Earlier he used to date the ladies but never felt downcasted by seeing them with others. Neither jealous nor betrayal feelings occupied his heart. But without having any relationship with Swetha, his heart still feels the agony and jealousy of seeing her so intimate with Rohan. He was petrified for his emotions feeling that he might have gone crazy. All these thoughts kept him awake throughout the night. Slowly the sleep took over him when the sun was about to rise.*****Hai readers, kindly go through my other story "MY ANGEL IS A DEVIL", which is totally opposite to this story.  Swetha, the female lead in this story is a very sweet and innocent girl whereas the female lead, Pravallika in the other story is a fierce, aggressive  and ferocious woman who can go to any extent to save the girls from the dirty men.
