THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 14 :Swetha, whose eyes were fixed at Sreekar, came into her senses by hearing Mahalaxmi’s voice. “Swetha! What happened? Why did you return back immediately? Why are you running?”enquired Mahalaxmi from the living room.Swetha came into her senses,looked at him who was giving a menacing look while rubbing his cheek and flew away from there feeling frightened. She replied to her aunty that nothing had happened, but forgot her book.Swetha tried to calm her heart which was thumping rapidly due to the fear occurring by his dangerous look. She felt petrified by remembering him rubbing his cheek. She had so many questions clouded in her mind.“Why is he glaring at her? Did he not forget the slap? Will he take revenge on her? What will he do to her? Oh my god, how to escape from him? He is scaring the shit out of her”.She is engrossed with her inner  mind questions that she didn’t notice the door opening sound. She got startled when  someone tapped her on the shoulder. She jumped on her feet and looked at the person with fear filled eyes.Rasi was stupefied by seeing her condition, immediately held her shoulder and queried with concern.“Sweths! What’s wrong? Why do you look so petrified?”.“You frightened me to death. Who told you to come so suddenly without any noise?”, releasing the breath she was holding, Swetha reprimanded Rasi.“What? What did I do? I came to see you as you didn’t come to complete the project”, answered Rasi.Swetha glanced at her and replied,“I came to your house but ran away after seeing your brother’s car”.“What?”, surprised to hear her answer and Rasi later bursted into laughter.“What is there to laugh about? Your brother is a big goon. Do you know what a dangerous look he gives to me? I feel like he will kill me with his looks”, explained Swetha.Rasi understood her fear and consoled her.“Sweths! My brother is not a bad guy. He is a very caring and gentle man. He hates women but never hurts them”, persuaded Rasi.“Okay! Leave about him. We will do the project work”, suggested Swetha.Both took out their books and absorbed in their work till Mahalaxmi reminded them about the time. Rasi bid bye to her and went to her house.After dinner, Swetha came to her room and tried to sleep. But throughout the night Sreekar’s eyes haunted her like a nightmare which made her restless.Days were passing by like seconds and everyone was busy with their work. Swetha is having the hard time whenever she comes across Sreekar, experiencing his penetrating looks. One day she almost fainted feeling terrible in his presence.Swetha went to Rasi’s house after noticing that Sreekar’s car was not parked outside.She went inside the home and sat beside Rasi on the couch who was watching the television. Rasi, seeing Swetha in a jolly mood, teased her.“You look so cheerful today. Any good news?”, queried Rasi.Swetha checked for Meenakshi and whispered,”Today the tiger is not there in your house. What could be a greater moment than that. I can enjoy the day with you people without any tension. It was a long time for me to spend some time with my aunt and uncle. I miss them”.Rasi chuckled at her words and queried,“What if he is here? What will you do”.Swetha looked at her annoyingly and rebuked,”Why do you always remind me about that devil? If really yor tiger comes, I will tear him into pieces and feed to the birds on your terrace”.
