THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 124 :Realizing the owner of the voice, Sreekar abruptly whirled back and stood dumbfounded upon seeing the person. What shocked him even more was the sight of his parents, Shilpa, and the little girl Honey tied to the seats in the van. Sreekanth lunged towards Sreekar, squeezing his shoulders tightly, his eyes wide with disbelief as he gaped at them.“Sree ...!”, both Raghavendar and Bhuvaneswari Devi yelled his name in unison.“Sreekanth...!”, yelled Shilpa.“Daddy ...!”, shrieked Honey.Extricating himself from the astonishment, Sreekar glanced at the person whom he had regarded as a fatherly figure since childhood, now regarding him with hostility.Sreekar, his hand trembling atop Sreekanth's, confronted Pratap with a quiver in his voice,“Uncle!what is the meaning of this? Why have you taken my family captive?”.Ignoring Sreekar's inquiry, Pratap cast a disdainful gaze upon Sreekar and Sreekanth before turning his attention to Rana, his voice laced with mockery,“I never imagined you would be so worthless. Struggling to win over a mere girl? Must you take this much time to claim her as yours? What are you waiting for? Seize this opportunity! They won't budge an inch”.Sreekanth's gaze flickered between Pratap and Rana before he snarled, his voice laced with fury,“Uncle! What madness possesses you? Are you turning against us? What has gotten into you? I've always regarded you as a fatherly figure, but I never envisioned you as a wolf disguised in sheep's clothing. I swear, if you touch even a single hair of Swetha, I will end you”.Pratap's laughter echoed maniacally until tears streamed down his face. Then, with a disdainful glare at Sreekar, he rebuked,“Do you take me for a fool? From the beginning, my intention was to secure my daughters as the sole heirs to your property. I had hoped to unite my brother’s daughter with Sreekanth, but it has turned into a disaster. As for you, I had envisioned Lalitha as your ideal match, drawn to your gentle nature. Yet, you too followed your brother's path, shattering all my dreams. I could bear losing Sreekanth, but not you. I had envisioned a great future for my daughter with you, only to see it shattered. Both of you have followed your mother’s path in choosing your companions despite your status, forsaking my hopes”.He paused, his words heavy with bitterness,“bBeing of equal status to your mother, I harbored feelings for her. Yet, she chose your father, a mere middle-class man. I concealed my resentment, maintaining our friendship while secretly plotting to gain control over them. When she bore you both, I devised a scheme to marry my daughters to you both, securing their position as heirs to your property. But this middle-class woman destroyed my plans by entering your life. I will never allow your dreams to come true. If my daughter cannot have you, then no other girl will enter your life”.“Pratap! I never thought you capable of such despicable behavior, harboring such hostility towards us. Don't assume my sons will remain silent while you attempt to ruin their lives. My sons have already embraced their love, and they know how to protect their partners. Don't delude yourself into thinking your plans will succeed”, Bhuvaneswari Devi roared, her voice resounding like a tigress defending her cubs.“Pratap! You despicable man. Concealing such feelings for my wife, you disguised as a family friend to us. I never expected you to be so ruthless in destroying my children”, Raghavendar roared, unable to comprehend his friend's betrayal“.Sreekanth and Sreekar, stunned by Pratap's words, were equally amazed by Bhuvaneswari Devi's fierce defense. They couldn't believe their mother had accepted their love and vowed to protect their partners. Exchanging glances, they turned their gaze towards Pratap, their eyes filled with silent fury, like daggers piercing through his betrayal. With a sinister smile, Pratap cast a contemptuous gaze at Raghavendar and Bhuvaneswari Devi, taunting,“Don't have high dreams for your sons. Prepare to witness their downfall. They will be powerless to stop the torment of their loved ones before their very eyes. I will inflict upon Sreekar the same anguish that my daughter endures after losing her love”.“Dare to lay a finger on my woman, and I'll bury you six feet beneath the ground”, growled Sreekar, his words resonating with unwavering determination.Pratap's mocking smile persisted as he retorted,“Is that a threat? Let's see what you're capable of to save your girl”, Then, turning his attention to Rana, he scornfully remarked,“Are you still waiting for permission? Take her now. Claim her as yours first, worry about marriage later”.Before Swetha could even process what was happening, Rana swiftly pulled her close and dragged her into the house. Sreekar and Sreekanth roared with anger, ready to pursue them, but Pratap's words echoed in the air, causing them to freeze in their tracks.“Don’t move from your place. One step  from your side , this vehicle will blast into pieces”, yelled Pratap while showing the remote control in his hand.Everyone froze in their places being stupefied with the sudden revolution and gazed at the car fearing for their family members safety.Taking advantage of the situation, Rana confidently dragged Swetha inside the house. Witnessing the scene, Srekar was about to run behind him who was stopped by Pratap.“Sree, I'm deadly serious about the bombs. Do you really want to witness the explosion?”, Pratap's warning carried a weight as he pressed the button on the remote, a dramatic confirmation of his words. Yet, despite the ensuing heavy explosion a few meters away, they remained unharmed as the explosion is a minor one.As the explosion rocked the surroundings, freezing everyone in their tracks, Balaramaiah's fatherly instinct surged within him. Unable to resist, he dashed towards the house to rescue his daughter. Tragically, Jayasurya caught sight of his movement and swiftly aimed his gun, firing a shot that struck Balaramaiah's leg.“Uncle!”, shrieked Sreekar and Sreekanh.“Daddy!”, yelled Ajith.Everyone gathered around Balaramaiah while Ajith took him in his lap.“Daddy!”.“Ajju! Nothing happened to me. Go and save Swetha. I don’t live if anything happens to her. Please save your sister”,pleaded Balaramaiah while a pool of tears flowed from his ear.Sreekar's heart felt as though it had been pierced by a sharp knife upon seeing Balaramaiah's condition. Amidst the chaos, the anguished screams of Swetha pleading with Rana to spare her filled the air. Sreekar fought to contain the raging fury within him, his clenched fists a testament to his struggle to think clearly and find a way out of the dire situation. The sound of Swetha's cries ignited a fire within him, burning like a volcano ready to erupt. With determination, he turned sharply to face Pratap, urgently pleading for him to release Swetha from harm's way.“Uncle, I implore you to stop all of this. Your actions are driven solely by the desire to bring me back. I am willing to marry Lalitha. Please, spare Swetha's life. I beg of you”, Sreekar pleaded, his hands clasped together in a desperate gesture of supplication.“Oh, really! So now you've decided to marry Lalitha”, Pratap retorted sharply,“But I can't trust you not to betray my daughter by secretly meeting Swetha behind Lalitha's back. Let Rana tarnish Swetha's dignity until you're so disgusted you can't even bear to look at her. We will consider marriage later”, he concluded coldly.Swetha's anguished screams pierced the air, intensifying Sreekar's anxiety. His heart raced uncontrollably as fury surged within him, fueled by the overwhelming sense of helplessness. He was consumed by shame for being unable to protect Swetha from this torment. Tears streamed down his cheeks like a river, his mind consumed by thoughts of her suffering. In that moment of desperation, with nothing else on his mind but saving Swetha, Sreekar sank to his knees, hands joined in a fervent plea to Pratap for mercy.“Uncle, I beg of you. Please, put an end to this”, Sreekar pleaded, bowing his head until it touched the ground, a gesture of surrender to Pratap's authority,“Please, spare her. I swear, I will marry Lalitha and remain faithful to her for the rest of my life. Have mercy, Uncle. Please, release her”, his words echoed with anguish, each syllable infused with his unwavering determination to shield Swetha from harm.
