THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 11 :Rasi was dumbstruck with his words for confronting her so directly and blushed hard realizing the hidden meaning behind his question. She immediately grabbed Swetha’s hand and pulled her from there to leave the place at the earliest.“Sweths! Come let us go. The class might get started”.Swetha faked the innocence and queried,“We still have the time for the class. But why are you blushing? Is there anything more like Ajju said”.Rasi glared at her and tried to leave the place without her. But Arjun caught her hand and whirled her to him which made her fall on his hard chest.“Ajju! What are you doing? Did you forget that we are in the college?”, reprimanded Rasi releasing herself from Arjun’s hand feeling embarrassed.“Is it okay for you to fall on my chest if it is not the college”, teased Arjun.“Ajju!”,feeling shy, no word came out from her mouth.Arjun took her hand into his, looked directly into her eyes and confessed, “Rasi! I feel delighted if your brother mistook us as lovers. Because I have been in love with you for a long time. I came to confess my love to you on that day. I can feel the same from you. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I want to spend the rest of my life with you as my companion. I want to have a family with you, grow older with you and leave this life along with you. Will you accept my love?”.Rasi stared at him without blinking her eyes, feeling ecstatic with his words. Happy tears pour out of her eyes like a river unable to control the blissfulness in her heart.Swetha and Neeraja stood on either side of Rasi keeping their hands on her shoulder to assure her that they were there for her to support her in any step she takes.Arjun was looking at Rasi feeling anxious for her reply. His heart was thumping rapidly afraiding of her denial. His palms had become cold and he was experiencing the restlessness to hear her answer.Rasi slowly came out of her happy bubble and lowered her head feeling shy to meet his gaze. She slowly took her bag, opened it and took out a book from the bag. She took out a card from the book and gave it to him. Without uttering any word, not giving any chance for him to speak, she ran away from there leaving everyone.Arjun gaped at her feeling perplexed with her behavior and stood frozen in his place.Swetha nudged Arjun to bring him out of his daze and scurried him to open the card.Arjun, who was frightened to see the negative response, slowly opened the card with trembling hands. His heart had done somersault after seeing the card and was floating on cloud9.Seeing the happy grin on Arjun’s face, Swetha grabbed the card from him and looked at it along with the remaining people.The card has a heart shape picture and inside the heart written a few words.“ *** Oh my dear love! My heart is yearning to hear the three magical words ‘I LOVE YOU’ from you. When do you admit your feelings to me and tell me those three magical words? I will wait for the rest of my life to hear those words from you but will never move on from you ***”Arjun screamed in happiness jumping on his feet and punching with his fist into the air.“YAAA ... HOOO ...”.His friends cheered him for his victory and scurried to meet Rasi immediately.
