The Silent Love ...Chapter 100 :Swetha glanced at Sreekar who was looking at her very longingly with teary eyes as if she is the only precious one in this world. She can acknowledge his puffy eyes and were red due to continuous crying. She noticed his tiredness and his eyes showed the distress, anguish and the vulnerability as if he lost something valuable. Her heart ached to see Sreekar in such a downhearted condition who usually exudes the strong and dominating aura.“You ...”, slowly whispered while her voice came in hoarse due to the pain in her throat.Sreekar glanced deep into her eyes and perceiving her puzzlement, he immediately pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly.“Swetha! Why did you do this to me? Didn’t you think of the consequences before taking the hasty decisions? Did you even think how I will survive if anything happens to you? Did you even imagine what I would end up with? Can’t you acknowledge my feelings for you to stop you from going to that extent”, queried Sreekar while his eyes poured out continuously whereas his voice tinged with agony.“Do you love me?”, queried Swetha with a quavering voice while her head was pressed into his chest.Sreekar immediately snapped his head from her embrace, cupped her face with his palms and enquired.“If I don’t love you, why would I go so far enough to punish Rana for tormenting you? If I don’t adore you, why would I feel infuriated to see you with another man? Why would I get intimate with you, if I don’t have any feelings for you? Unfortunately,  I couldn’t realize my feelings earlier. Otherwise you wouldn’t have gone through all these”, stated Sreekar while gently caressing her cheek with his thumb finger.Balaramaiah, who entered the room behind Sreekar followed by others, stood frozen in his place watching their significant moments. After hearing Sreekar’s confession, he couldn’t control his rage and yelled to get their attention.“Swetha ...!”.Swetha flinched with the voice of her father and retreated herself from Sreekar and moved back from him. She slowly turned her head towards her father and by watching his furious gazes, she lowered her head feeling terrible.Balaramaiah didn’t wish to snap at Swetha who just escaped from death and darted his eyes towards Sreekar and ordered,”Will you leave this place?”.Sreekar rose to his feet and turned to Balaramaiah and pleaded,“Sir! Please let me explain”.“I don’t want your presence or your involvement in my daughter’s life. Leave the place”, snapped Balaramaiah with a cold voice.Before Sreekar could respond to his words, Swetha called out for her father and stated her decision.“Father! Please don’t be rude to him. I don’t wish to go against your decision. If you don’t want his involvement in my life, I will be away from him. I will respect your resolution but I never allow any other man in my life when my heart is dedicated to someone. I will remain as your daughter rather than going as someone’s treasure where I don’t belong”.Sreekar stared at her in astonishment for her determination and his heart filled with content to see her trusting him without knowing anything about him. Everyone looked at her perplexed with her  determination,  whom they always saw as a young carefree,cheerful and jovial girl. Arjun, Rasi, Rohan and other friends went to the other side of the bed and surrounded her  to give their support.Sreekar glanced at her and   queried in a heavy voice,“What made you take such a great resolution when you know nothing about me?”.Swetha slowly raised her head and while looking deeply into his eyes, she answered,“Why did you come for me all the way  running, ignoring your status and reputation,when you learned about my engagement? Why did you come for me after knowing about my humiliation? Whye did you avenge my  suffering? Why did you feel vulnerable seeing me  at the edge of  my death? With all your gestures, I felt  protected and adored. What can any girl expect from a man other than being an angel in  his heart?”.Sreekar kept staring at her with moisty eyes  while his heart swelled with pride and delightment after hearing her  heart out.Balaramaiah, who stood still in his place, after hearing her decision, came into his senses by her confrontation with Sreekar. His heart filled with hostility towards Sreekar for yearning so much trust from her in such a short period. He felt a pang in his heart watching her trusting a person whom she hardly knew about.“Swetha! If you really made your decision,then I will keep you as my daughter for my entire life  but never allow him to become your companion”, stated Balaramaiah in a firm voice.Srekar, who was glancing at Swetha intently , was astounded by hearing Balaramiah’s  statement. He couldn’t perceive the reason for his resentment towards him.Sreekar stared at Balaramaiah with a confused face and queried,“Sir! How did I offend you to carry the hostility towards me. I never remember seeing you earlier before getting introduced by Gautham. But I can sense the displeasure for me in your eyes which I couldn’t decipher the reason. I am very sorry in any way if I offended you but please  don’t hold any grudge towards me. I love Swetha and I couldn’t imagine my life without  her. Please accept me as her companion”, pleaded while clasping his hands.Meenakshi and Chandra Mohan immediately reached him and stood on either side of Sreekar while  holding his shoulder.“Balaramaiah brother! Why do you look down on my son?  Do you think he is not worthy of Swetha? Why do you deny their relationship when they both yearn for each other?”, queried Meenakshi who was disappointed for Balaramaiah’s denial.Balaramaiah shook his head negatively and replied,“I don’t need to give any explanation for my denial. I don’t wish for his presence  in my daughter’s life”, darted his eyes towards Ajith and ordered,“Ajju! Find out the discharge  formalities and enquire whether we can take her today”.Sreeka took a step forward and announced in a firm voice,“Neither I will leave nor let you leave from here unless I get the answers. How did I offend you to receive such hostility from you? Why am I unworthy to win her love? Why don’t you accept me as her companion? Do I lack something or am I not up to your expectations? Tell me sir? Despite seeing me devastated by seeing her near death , you still wish to make us apart”, and fell on his knees in front of him and pleaded while joining his hands,“Sir! Give me one chance. I will prove myself to be worthy for her”.Balaramaiah was flabbergasted with Sreekar’s sudden approach and took a step back. Meenakshi and Chandra Mohan along with Gautham and his family surrounded Sreekar and forced him to stand on his feet. Swetha covered her face and sobbed in her palms to see Sreekar kneeling in front of her father to win her. Her friends circled her and tried to pacify her.“Uncle! I never saw you being adamant for something. Why are you so persistent in denying Sreekar’s love? What’s the reason to ignore his request?”, queried Gautham feeling frustrated to see Sreekar's continuous plead go in vain."I cannot bear the thought of witnessing Swetha enduring life's struggles repeatedly, accepting him as my daughter's companion. I am devoid of the strength needed to see her going across the world just to ensure their safety. I raised her with the intention of seeing her live a peaceful and significant life, not to envision her living as an orphan in a secluded place with no support. This is a burden I am not prepared to carry," snapped Balaramaiah.Sreekar, taken aback by Balaramaiah's statement, approached him with a mix of disbelief and determination. With a steely gaze, he questioned, "I hold Swetha in my heart like an angel. What led you to believe that I would subject her to any hardships? Even if I were to face bankruptcy, I would work tirelessly to shower her with the care and comfort she deserves, treating her like a princess. What has instilled this doubt in you about our relationship? Do you truly think I would abandon her, leaving her feeling like an orphan?"His words carried a promise to safeguard Swetha's happiness, emphasizing his unwavering dedication to their relationship. Balaramaiah, with a stoic expression, locking eyes with Sreekar as he calmly responded, "I couldn't entrust my daughter to a family where only status, wealth, and reputation take priority over genuine relationships. Swetha deserves a home where she'll be embraced with warmth and affection from her in-laws, not a place where she might be looked down  being unworthy for their status"Sreekar's words were sharp and filled with anger as he confronted the person who had dared to pass judgment on his family without even knowing them. With a controlled yet forceful tone, he snapped, "Sir, please don't forget that you are defaming my family right in front of me. What led you to believe that Swetha would be judged by my family?".Balaramaiah, stood resolute in his stands, with unwavering expressions, smeared,“I refuse to see my daughter to be driven out like the elder daughter in law by the lady of that house. I never envisioned my daughter living somewhere concealing her true self for the sake of love.”.Sreekar was taken back  being perplexed with his words and watched him with scrutinizing eyes contemplating on their conversation being sure of Balaramaiah’s personality who doesn’t accuse someone whom he never met which left him both intrigued  and thoughtful. He was sure of Balaramaiah having knowledge of their family which he was either unaware of or couldn’t look through his eyes.   Ajith, who was quiet for the entire conversation, unable to withhold himself by seeing the failure of Sreekar’s attempts to convince his father, he stated,“Father! You should not judge him by  comparing to his brother’s life. He is not a coward to run away from his family for his love but fight against the obstacles that come in his way to win upon his love. You should rethink about the situation for the sake of our Swetha’s happiness”.Sreekar was caught off guard, as if a huge storm had abruptly swept through his entire being, engulfing him in a torrent of overwhelming emotions.
