THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 99 :“Amma! I can’t live without her. I want her and I wish her to accompany me for the rest of my life. Before pouring my heart to her, she has taken the hasty decision. She didn’t believe me. My life will become dark once again if she  leaves me. Amma! She respects you  very much. Please ask her to come back for me. Please Amma, tell  her that I am begging her to come back”, Sreekar poured his heart out making everyone feel downhearted.Meenakshi held him with one hand  and rubbed his back with the other consoling him. “Chinna Babu! Please calm down. Nothing will happen to her. She will come back safely”, pacified Meenakshi.But nothing can calm his heart or his agony throwing him more into the vulnerable state. Ajith couldn’t see him suffering any more and reached him. He knelt beside him and crossed his hands across his shoulders and consoled him.“Sreekar! Please don’t cry. Keep trust in fate. If you were destined to be together then even god couldn’t separate you. She is the most  courageous lady and will surely fight against death. Please calm down”, persuaded Ajith.“Ajju! Don’t spit the nonsense”, roared Balaramaiah.Ajith glanced at his father, didn’t utter a single word and helped Sreekar on his feet. Later he ushered him to the chair and offered the water which Sreekar gulped in one  go. Balaramaiah was fuming in anger seeing his son helping Sreekar who was the reason behind Swetha’s condition.Sreekar raised his eyes towards Ajith and explained,“If I would have realized my feelings earlier, I would have  confessed before leaving. I realized my love for her only after hearing about her engagement. I didn’t understand my feelings for her earlier and I wished to apologize for my actions towards her after returning from the   trip. I  informed her to  be back within two days. Maybe she didn’t acknowledge my  feelings for her like me which pushed her to take such a hasty decision. Why did I make her go through such a disaster? I don’t deserve to live if anything happens to her”, covered his face with his  hands which were resting on his  knees and bursted into tears once again.Ajith didn’t speak anything to console him but kept rubbing on his back to give him the solace. After waiting for an eternity, the door of the emergency room was opened which caught Sreekar’s attention.Sreekar is the one who reached the door first and held the doctor’s coat tightly who had just exited from the room.“Doctor! How is she? Did she make it? Tell me doctor. I will explode this hospital if you have not saved her. Tell me”, roared Sreekar while shaking the  doctor vigorouslyThe chief doctor who just exited the room was baffled by the sudden reaction from Sreekar and kept  staring at him being astounded. He was stupefied to see Sreekar, the chairman of the hospital, who always be  collective, calm and dignified with his strong aura, in a vulnerable state losing all his rationality.Deepak and Gautham rushed to him and held Sreekar tightly while enquiring with the doctor,”Doctor! How did the operation go?”.Balaramaiah also rushed to the doctor followed by Sangeetha and Ajith whereas others came behind them.“Yes! She made it. She is out of danger but needs to rest properly. We had cleaned all the poison that spread through her body but needs to be under rest and medication”, answered the doctor while glancing at Sreekar in puzzlement to see him feeling anxious for a woman.Sreekar neared the doctor and held his arm while questioning,“Can I see her?”.“Yes! You can see her. We are shifting her to the room in the second floor. You can visit her”, replied the chief doctor when the other doctors and nurses who accompanied him in the operation came out and stood behind him.Sreekar was infuriated with his answer and grabbed his collar while roaring,“How dare you shift her to the normal room. Who do you think she is? She is my woman, my queen. Shift her to the VIP room”.The chief doctor and others behind him were dumbfounded by his confession and stood still gazing at Sreekar, who despises the women and the word love from the bottom of his heart.The other doctor behind the chief immediately stepped in front of him and apologized,“Sir! We apologize for our mistake. We will shift her immediately to the VIP room. Please forgive us for being unaware of her identity”, while trying to release the chief doctor from Sreekar.Sreekar immediately released the chief doctor from his clutch and looked at the other doctor while asking,“Which room?”.Once the doctor gives the room number, Sreekar lunged towards the elevator and pressed the button for the lift to come.“Sree …!”.“Boss …!”.Gautham and Deepak yelled for Sreekar at a time which made him to whirl back and saw Swetha’s family members and others. He immediately gestured to Deepak to usher them to the room while showing to the elevator and he sprinted towards the staircase ascending the steps followed by Gautham, Arjun  and Ajith.By the time everyone reached the floor through the elevator, Sreekar was waiting at the door along with Gautham, Arjun and Ajith. Balaramaiah rushed towards Ajith and held his arm while enquiring about Swetha.“Ajju! What happened? Why are you waiting outside? Can I see my daughter?”asked Balaramaiah.“Father! Just a few minutes. The nurse is helping Swetha to bed. Once she allows  us to see,we  can go in”,replied Ajith while crossing his hand across  his father’s shoulder, comforting him.After a while,the nurse opened the door and informed them to see the patient. Sreekar immediately rushed ahead before anyone could enter though he knew that Balaramaiah is eager  to see his daughter but couldn’t help as he was anxious to take Swetha in his arms.He reached the bed and saw the elegant figure lying on the bed with closed eyes looking pale without her usual glory. Sreekar slowly sat on the bed beside her and held her  hand. He leaned his face into her palm feeling the warmth. Later he  slowly moved his hand to her face and caressed her cheek with the back of his hand.Feeling the touch of his hand, Swetha slowly opened her eyes and glanced at him while fluttering her eyelashes a couple of times to make herself get adjusted to the lighting.“S W E T H A”, whispered Sreekar after noticing her opening eyes.
