𝐌𝐄𝐈 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 𝐒𝐄𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍'𝐒 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐑 as they drove. Part of her was beaming at that fact, but the other was sort of nervous. They were two teens that spent most of their days currently together and unsupervised. Anything could happen, and anything scared her. There was a certain line she didn't cross when that came to boys, but so far, Sebastian seemed determined to cross it.

"I swear, if you don't keep your eyes on the road..." She side glanced at him. He smirked, looking back forwards.

"You'll what."

"Die a fiery death?" She quipped making him laugh.

"You are so dramatic."

"Well, drama's my speciality." She scoffed, "Can't you drive any slower?"

"Not physically possible for me."

"Really." Mei was unamused, she turned toward the window, "I'm stuck in a car with an idiot." She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Well, I'm so sorry, your majesty." He said sarcastically.

"Whatever." She smirked slightly then pulled down the mirror above her to check her appearance.

"So... do you go to these a lot?" He asked.

"As many as agency submits my profile for. Which I suppose is a lot. Usually it's almost every weekend."

"Sounds exhausting. Don't you ever want to sit at home and chill?"

"No? I don't know if you know this, but when I'm not modeling I'm on social media, exercising, or out with friends." She replied, "With the occasional party here and there."

"Oh, sounds... fun." He glanced over at her.

"It is sometimes. Hey," She closed the mirror, "Everyone's meeting at the country club later. You should go."

"What about you?"

"No... I shouldn't be around them. Especially when El's mostly like furious with me. It would be a disaster. Plus, I should go home. I haven't been for the past two days and my sister's probably worried. She's been trying to call me."  Mei looked out the window away from him.

"How would I even get in? I don't have a pass."

"You can use mine." She smiled, "Come on, if you're going to be one of us you've got to get to know us. Ezra will be there, so you'll be fine."

"Woah, who said I want to be 'one of you guys'." Mei scoffed at him.

"Seb, everyone wants to be one of us." She smirked, "Might as well get used to it."

The pair pulled into a parking garage that connected to a large skyscraper where a lot of photoshoots were done.

"Anything I need to know before we go in there?" He looked over at her as he put the car in park. She glanced over at him.

"Keep your eyes off the models. They're trouble."

The two enter floor 56 where the photo shoot was taking place. Mei was immediately rushed off to get changed because she apparently was thirty minutes late.

"When they say fashionably late they usually mean ten minutes or so, not half an hour." The poor intern quickly handed her her clothes and pushed her behind a curtain to get dressed. She probably would get hell for not getting Mei ready sooner.

Meili held up what the intern handed her and cursed under her breath. It was at that moment she wished she had brought Ezra along instead of Sebastian.

Because this was a Calvin Klein photo shoot.

"Um, excuse me..." She peered out from behind the curtain. The intern raised her eyebrows, "Yes, you! Come here!" She scurried over.

"Is everything alright?"

"Are you sure this is the right outfit... for me?" Meili pulled back the curtain a little bit to reveal the black sports bra and high cut underwear she was in.

"Of course. Hurry up I have to get you to hair and make up." She replied and Mei rolled my eyes.

"Damn it, I should really start listening to my agent when she talks to me." Mei muttered under her breath as she pulled a silk robe over her shoulders.

"What was that?"

"Nothing." Mei pasted a fake smile on her face and ignored her, "Well," Mei frowned at her, "Take me to get ready!"

They didn't do much to her hair, but they took off all her makeup and replaced it with a more natural look. Mei's eyes kept flicking to the door where Sebastian was making conversation with one of the editors. He was guy... thank god. Or at least that's what Mei thought.

"You're ready to go, Miss Chen." The makeup artist said and Mei quietly thanked him. She looked up once more to see if Sebastian was watching her. He was.

She tried to refrain from smiling as she walked over to the photographer and dropped her robe revealing the lack of clothing she happened to be wearing.

"Meili, nice to be working with you again." The photographer smiled as she sat on the velvet loveseat, "I want a few singles with just you then we'll add in the other girls." She was barely listening to him.

Instead she was looking at Seb who couldn't keep his eyes off her... and she had the satisfaction of knowing it. Meili loved the attention.

Her eyes then turned toward the group of models standing in identical robes as hers on the other side of the room. They were standing in a circle and whispering about something. Mei rolled her eyes and decided to turn her attention to the photographer.

"Meili, darling, could you just pose and be yourself?" He asked. She smiled then sprawled out on the loveseat, staring straight at the camera as the photographer snapped a few photos. She sat up and tried a few more poses before catching Sebastian's stare once more.

"Bring in the models." The photographer called and three other women joined her on the couch. He snapped a few more pictures before they were done. Mei networked with a couple people before heading over to Sebastian.

"Wow, you did not tell me it was this kind of photo shoot." She followed his eyes to the girls still taking pictures in their underwear. She smiled then tapped his chin lightly back toward her.

"Remember what I said? Eyes off the models." Mei taunted.

"You're just jealous." He smirked making her scoff.

"Why would I be? We're just friends." Mei looked him up and down, "Or did you forget that too?"
