" ððð ððð ððððð'ð ððððð
ððð ðððð ððððððððð. "
â¯â¯â¯
ðð ððððððððð'ð ððð ðððð, when he let Meili stay the night he did not know she had just gotten into watching Korean dramas. Lucky him.
"What do you mean you're my sister? You're pregnant with my baby!" Male #1 exclaimed.
"Not your sister, you're stepsister!" Woman #1 yelled back.
"But I've also been sleeping with your mother!" Mei urgently paused the tv.
"Shénme? TÄ shì nÇ de jìmÇ? NÇ zhège húndà n!" Mei began yelling angrily in Chinese at the tv. Sebastian watched her, finding her outbursts cute and amusing. (What? She was your stepmother? You sick bastard!)
"And it's not your baby. It's you're twin brother's." Woman #1 continued and the camera zoomed in on her face before rolling the credits.
"NÇ zhè fÄngkuáng de hánguó xìjù! WÇ lÄi gè qù!" Mei threw Seb's remote down on his bed and began pacing the room, "NÇ bùnéng jiù zhèyà ng jiéshù tÄ!" She threw her hands up at the tv. (You crazy, crazy Korean drama! What the hell! You can't just end it like that!)
"Ugh!" Mei groaned loudly as she roughly dragged a brush through her wet hair. She had came from the shower a few minutes ago.
"You're going to be late for school." Sebastian taunted her while he sat comfortable and already ready on his bed.
"Bì zuÇ, húndà n!" She yelled back at him before slamming the bathroom door behind her. Ezra walked into the room right after she left. (Shut up, asshole!)
"The Ice Queen's wrath has been unleashed." He tiptoed into the room, "You know she's mad when she starts yelling in Chinese. What did you do?"
"She's watching a Korean drama. It doesn't make any sense to me." He explained. Ezra's eyes widened.
"Man, you can't let her do that! She gets crazy when she watches those. Now she'll be in a bad mood the rest of the day." He sighed, "And it's only seven o'clock."
"Sorry." Seb replied insincerely. Her outbursts were totally worth it.
"One time I even thought about learning Chinese just so I'd understand what she was calling me." He said before the bathroom door opened again and Mei walked out with her makeup done, but still in Sebastian's shirt.
"WÇ shén zhì bù zhÄ«dà o wèishéme wÇ yà o kà n zhège jiémù. Xià nzà i, wÇ jiÄng dÄng bùjà xià yÄ« jÃ!" She was still yelling as she walked over to Sebastian's closet and pulled the t-shirt off of herself. (I don't even know why I want to watch this show. Now, I won't be able to wait for the next episode!)
Ezra and Sebastian watched on as she continued to murmur to herself in Chinese as she struggled to get her uniform on. Not bothering to wear a blazer, she just put on a button up, tie, and skirt, deciding it was good enough.
"What are you staring at!" Mei screamed at them before stomping angrily out of the room.
"Oh, Sebby, you've awoken the devil."
"What's the matter?" Sebastian asked as he sat with Mei in the backseat of Ezra's Tesla. Her arms are crossed and an annoyed look passed her face.
"There's supposed to be a new exchange student today. Since I'm on student council I have to show her around." She rolled her eyes, "Her name's Victoria Petrov. She's supposed to be some rich bachelorette from Russia who was like thrust into the spotlight from a young age."
"Sounds like someone I know."
"Ew, no. Her family had this big reality TV show. I would never do a reality TV show." She paused, "It's disgusting to broadcast your life like that."
"Says the girl who's on Instagram 24/7."
"Oh yeah, I forgot you were an advocate for the less fortunate." Mei scoffed, "Even though you are more than fortunate. I feel like you'd be the type of person to give all your inheritance to charity."
"Mei, stop being a bitch and just shut up." Ezra called from the front, "I don't feel like playing your dad today." Mei sat with her leg crossed over the other and straighten out her skirt.
"I'm catching a ride to your house after school."
"Why."
"Because, don't ask why."
Truth was Mei's father, like usual, wasn't going to be home and she didn't want to spend the night alone again like she had the past summer.
Once they got to the school, the three departed and Mei slowly made her way to the dreadful front office.
Heels clicking across the floor, Mei approached the tall blonde standing outside the office doors. She turned around revealing her big black cat eyes sunglasses and plumped up lips. Her blonde hair cascaded like golden rivers down her shoulders, and she was so inhumanly beautiful she even intimidated Meili who couldn't stop herself from admiring her.
Victoria had high cheekbones, thick lips, and amazingly blue eyes making her absolutely gorgeous. It also made her dangerous.
"Hello, you must be Meili Chen!" Victoria's face lit up when she noticed Mei approaching her. Mei's first thought was to shoot back a snooty comment, but instead, she thought better of it.
"And you must be Victoria Petrov." Mei stopped in front of her as she raised her sunglasses, "How do you like our school so far?"
"It's not like my old one that's for sure," Victoria laughed as if it were funny, "It was out in the country so they had a lot of land to work with. They even had a horse stable." She talked with a thick Russian accent.
"Well, we don't exactly have room for that in New York City." Mei raised an eyebrow, "For instance, I wouldn't compare Russia to New York if I were you. Soon you'll find out a lot of things are different in this city." Mei began walking and she heard Victoria follow.
"You're gorgeous by the way, and you look really familiar. Where have I seen you?"
"I've seen you at Moscow Fashion Week." Mei said, "You got a lot of press for being there. I was one of the runway models."
"So, that's where I've seen you. I'm glad I got paired with you for my tour. We already have a common interest." She paused, "Most people call me Vic by the way."
Meili finished walking Victoria around the important parts of the school. The final destination was their first hour class. Mei immediately went to take a seat next to Bethany and Victoria followed making Mei roll her eyes.
"Hello, I'm Victoria." She peered over Mei to introduce herself to Beth. Bethany looked up from her phone and painted a fake smile over her face.
"Hi, I'm Bethany Dalton." Beth reached over to shake her hand, "Don't worry if Meili's being a little icy to you. She's like that with everyone."
"Oh, I didn't think anything of it."
"You'll fit in great here. Overall everyone's pretty friendly-"
"Can you two shut up? The teacher's waiting on you." Mei shot them both a look making them keep quiet.
"Thank you, Meili." The Mrs. Parker praised her and she smirked, "So for today's lesson, I realize we have a new student joining us-" She was cut off by the door opening.
Sebastian walked in with a very hungover looking Theo behind him. He surveyed the room intently before catching Mei's eye. She couldn't even ignore how good he looked in his uniform. It sort of suited him.
"Who is that?" Victoria leaned over and whispered to Mei. Sebastian had a sucker in his mouth which he took out. Mei rolled her eyes and ignored Victoria's question.
Sebastian began walking over to her and Mei realized the seat behind her was empty, "No food in my class please, Sebastian." Mrs, Parker called after him before he took a seat. Per usual, he ignored her.
"You're late." Mei turned her head and whispered. Theo trudged across the room and sat next to Seb.
"Is almost didn't come." He leaned forward and whispered.
"And what made you decide to?" She paused, "Don't you dare say something stupid."
"Why I remembered we were getting a new girl and I just had to see her." He whispered back, and Mei turned around in sync with Victoria who had heard their conversation. He winked at Vic, a silly grin on his face.
"Meili, please face the board or I'll have to move you."
