Chapter 2627: Heavenly Court's Turmoil (3)

BOOM!

The entire Heavenly Court shook violently, as if it were about to collapse. The golden barrier rippled and distorted, its light flickering and dimming under the immense pressure.

However, to everyone's surprise, the barrier held. The cracks that had appeared on its surface slowly sealed themselves, and the golden light returned to its former brilliance.

Yun Lintian raised an eyebrow in surprise. He had not expected the Heavenly Court's protective formation to be so resilient. It was indeed worthy of its reputation as one of the strongest barriers in the Primal Chaos.

"Impressive," Yun Lintian muttered, a hint of admiration in his voice. "But not impressive enough."

He raised his sword once more, his eyes gleaming with determination. This time, he would not hold back. He would unleash the full might of his Heaven Piercing Sword, and he would shatter the barrier that stood in his way.

"Rending Heaven." Yun Lintian uttered coldly.@@novelbin@@

The Heaven Piercing Sword blazed with golden light, its aura reaching a fever pitch. The air crackled with energy, and the very fabric of space seemed to distort under the pressure.

Yun Lintian swung his sword down, and a blinding golden ray erupted from its tip, streaking towards the barrier with the speed of lightning.

Yu Huang's eyes widened in alarm. He had not expected Yun Lintian's attack to be so powerful. He quickly channeled his celestial energy into the formation, reinforcing the barrier with all his might.

BOOOOOM-

The golden ray slammed into the barrier, and a deafening explosion rocked the Heavenly Court. The barrier trembled violently, its light flickering and dimming under the immense pressure. Cracks spread across its surface like a spiderweb, growing larger and more numerous with each passing moment.

However, Yu Huang was not giving up. He continued to pour his divine energy into the formation, desperately trying to hold the barrier together.

Sensing the barrier was about to shatter, Yu Huang suddenly changed his tactics. Instead of trying to maintain the barrier, he channeled the formation's energy into a counterattack.

Buzz-

Chun Yue's lips curled into a faint, icy smile. "I may be a servant, but I am not powerless. And I do not need to stand against you directly to make you regret your actions."

She raised her hand, and a shimmering image appeared in the air before her. It was a small,

blue planet, its surface covered in vast oceans and lush green continents.

Yun Lintian's eyes narrowed as he recognized it immediately.

"Earth," he whispered coldly.

Chun Yue's smile widened, her tone dripping with malice. "Yes, Earth. The little star you care so much about. Do you think I don't know about your connection to it? Do you think I don't know how much it means to you?"

Yun Lintian stared at Chun Yue coldly. "You can try."

"I won't," Chun Yue responded, her voice calm but filled with menace. "As long as you don't try to break into the Heavenly Court, Earth will remain safe. But if you take one more step, if you try to shatter this barrier, I won't hesitate to destroy it. Do you understand?"

The hall fell silent, the tension so thick it was almost suffocating.

Yun Lintian frowned slightly. Previously, Lin Xinyao and Hongyue told him that Chun Yue had tried to destroy Earth once but failed. Where did she get the confidence from?

Could it be that she had secretly sent her people to Earth?

Yun Lintian stared at Chun Yue coldly and said, "Do it now. I don't think you have the ability

to do so."

"Are you sure?" Chun Yue smiled calmly. "I heard it was your hometown. There are quite a number of orphans you have been raising there."

Yun Lintian furrowed his brow upon hearing this. Chun Yue clearly knew about the situation on Earth. This could mean she had truly visited the place or that there was a mole beside him.

Suddenly, Yun Lintian thought of Si Junyi's strange question previously. Could it be that someone among his people had betrayed him?
