*Jungkook's pov*

She stared at the three months old baby in the crib lovingly. Her dark hair and pale skin glistening under moon-light giving her a enchanting look. The ethereal beauty couldn't hold it back as she lovingly and softly caressed the baby's cheek not wanting to wake him up.

"I never knew that you would look this adorable as a child." she mumbled softly not knowing that this baby would grow into a hot sexy man one day. The baby lean into her soft touch finding comfort in it.

"Just wait nine more months love! I would be in this world with you." The baby smiled in his sleep when those words leaved her mouth with hope making her chuckle at that lightly. She slowly lean down and placed her blood red lips softly on the baby's forehead. She cooed when the baby hummed in his sleep at her kiss. She gently leaned into the baby's ear to mumble her last words before she leave.

"I finally found your soul after back so many years. Remember me Jungkook!"

I jolted up from my sleep with wide eyes. What was that dream? Ever since she left me, I am having these kind of weird dream. But the lady I saw in my dream today was non-other than my own mate. She looked really so different yet familiar in that dream. A soft knock on my room door broke me out of my trance. Woobin's face peaked in through the door with a serious face. My sleepy face scrunched at seeing my brother's never so serious face with that look. He stepped in and straighten his posture seeing me awake.

"A-Ah we have a problem Jungkook!" he said with hesitation earning a tired look from me. I am not in a mood to deal with these shits early in the morning. Well not exactly morning since I realized it's almost noon glancing at my night stand clock. "Get ready and come to the office right now. It's urgent." My brother rushed in and left the room like he got fire in his ass. Seeing his odd behavior, I decide to head there as soon as I can knowing that this is something serious.

Suddenly it hit me. The date! It's 26 today. The day my mate would return back. How could that slip away from my mind when I woke up cause that was the only thing ran in my mind last past days. With the new found energy over my mate return I got ready quickly and headed to the office to finish this what ever shit before my mate return. I entered the office not bothering to knock, knowing that they are aware of my presence. I joined the boys who are patiently waiting for me standing in front of my father's office chair along with my father who sat on it holding my mother's hand as she stood next to him.

"We received a invitation of a challenge for the alpha position like every other pack." My father said as I stood in front of him. I gave him a questioning look. Why he is telling me this? Does he want me to fight me and take over that pack?

"Do you want me to participate in that challenge?" I voiced out my thoughts not understanding his intention. My father never was a power hungry alpha. He was more than satisfied with what he has. He shook his head as a 'no' and I grew more confused.

"It's about the pack!" Suga hyung said who stood next to my brother.

"Which pack?" I questioned wanting to know which alpha of the pack that is willing to put himself in a great danger like that. A challenge? Why would he give others a chance to take over his pack? I don't know whether it was my imagination that I felt everyone backed away from me slightly. My father looked deep into my eyes like trying to study my next move.

"Dark shadow pack!" I froze at those words. My whole body went cold as I forgot how to breath for a second. It took me few seconds to digest my fathers word.

"WHAT THE HECK?" I yelled slamming my palms harder on to his office table. I surprised that it didn't break from the impact. What are they talking about? It's her pack. My mate's pack. She is not here. She is going to come back today. So who would make a invite like that? And what the heck that stupid beta doing letting this all happen?

"Please calm down Jungkook!" My mother said softly try her hard not to shiver under my cold angry gaze. Who wouldn't be angry knowing your mate's life in a great danger?

"I think Shenu had talked to the king and prepared this challenge. Apparently she is here in this country right now. She came back earlier this morning before the sunrise and we are the last to receive this invitation." Each word my father said made my blood boil inside. She didn't even care to call or text me when she is away and now she didn't even show up when she returned. On the top of that what the heck is this girl doing? I lift the table in front of me and threw it across the wall breaking it to half. Well there goes an other table. I will have to buy an other one again.

"Then what are we waiting for? We shouldn't reject her kind invite." I spat bitterly and walked away not wasting any more time to reach there. All my excitement of meeting her is long forgotten. The only thing I want to know was whether she is out of her mind?

*Taehyung's pov*

"Are you sure you want to do this pumpkin?" I asked the girl who sat in front of me signing some papers hurriedly to finish her paper works and great the alphas down-stair who are here to witness or take part in the open challenge she made. She stopped what she were doing to spare me a glance. Her bored gaze soften immediately seeing my serious and worried look.

"I have to do this for the pack safety Tae. There are lot of alphas and rouges eyeing this pack to take over. I have to ensure my pack members safety and prove myself to them." She said in a soft reassuring tone. "Beside my wolf is train a little bit thanks to you even though I wouldn't have to use her in the battle field." She said simply and turn her attention back at papers. Suddenly she stiffed in her position earning a questioning look from me.

"He is here! Why don't you go and great them Tae while I finish these works." she asked sweetly earning a short nod from me. Even though I couldn't smell Jungkook yet, I am sure she can as their bond is stronger. So she would sense his presence before anyone else. As I walked down-stair I caught his scent along with the alpha and my other members. I would have to answer lot of questions as I ignored all of them since yesterday.

"Please wait here alpha! The alpha will join you short!" I heard Mark voice along with a low growl. I came into a view where the alpha and few other our members holding a growling Jungkook back from attacking the beta.

"Jungkook we are here to meet her as the alpha of dark shadow pack. So we have to respect her decision. And he is simply doing his duty." Alpha tried to reason out and that's when his head snapped towards my direction along with others. I slowly walked towards them with a innocent smile silently dismissing the beta from there glance. They all looked at my every step with narrowed eyes. If look could kill, I would have been 6 feet under the ground by now. Jungkook took long step towards me impatiently meeting me half way through the track.

"Why didn't you inform us when you returned?" He asked through the gritted teeth. I understand where he is coming from as I really feel guilty for not informing them. They must have been worried sick about her. Specially Jungkook!

"She used her Luna voice and ordered me to not to tell any of you, knowing that you would stop this." I said and he chuckled bitterly at that.

"Don't be ridiculous Tae. We all know that your wolf wouldn't surrender to anyone's command as you was the chosen protector of the next queen who is no longer in this world. So you wouldn't obey anyone's command." He remind the obvious fact to everyone. Even though in his angry state he is still aware of every little detail. You never failed to amaze me Jungkook like your mate.

"You are right Jungkook! My wolf may not obey anyone's command. But I think you are forgetting who she is to my wolf Jungkook." I remind him making his brows furrowed at that. He immediately avoid my gaze trying to collect his thoughts and calm his mind. I noticed how he concentrate on his breathing to relax his mind. After back few seconds he release a heavy sigh and glanced back at me with blank eyes. But I know him better to look pass through it. There was pain and jealousy buried deep inside that gaze.

"I trust you Tae! I really believe you! But yet it's bothering me Tae." he said almost like pleaded telling me to understand his intention.He doesn't want to hurt me or loose our friendship. He just simply want to say how hurt he is over all of these. But yet he is not the only one hurting. She is hurting too. And I am like a third-wheeler in between their bond, yet I am the one holding it together unknown to both of them.

"Don't worry Jugkook! I would never cross my line. But like I said before I wouldn't hold back and look when she is getting hurt." I said in a soft yet a finalize tone making my point clear. And I dragged all of them the training field where the battle would held.

*Jungkook's pov*

We all silently followed Tae to the training field away from my mate's scent which lingered inside the pack house indicating that she is inside. I wanted to run back and see her but simply hold myself back deciding to respect her decision at-least once. I locked my wolf inside my body knowing how restless he would get when he sees her. He would try to mark her to make sure she away from any threaten which she dragged herself into. We all walked where all the pack members and alphas surrounded the ring sitting in the ground around it. Some were in wooden chairs while some were standing around it. Their all eyes widen seeing me there and immediately bow down to me in respect. Few other alphas from other packs greeted us and talked to us about pack stuff. But most of the time I was out of it looking around trying to catch a glimpse of my mate arrival.

Suddenly her scent of jasmine and vanilla become stronger as powerful aura hit us. My head instantly snapped towards where stood gracefully along with her beta. My breath hitched seeing her after back three weeks. This is not the girl I saw three weeks before. She is different. Her once long, chocolate brown wavy hair was cut short into shoulder length and tied into a high ponytail. Her once beautiful cute frocks now turn into black tight jeans and plain white t-shirt. There was two earrings on her right ear and I noticed the letter 'J' tattooed on her neck below that ear. What is that letter means? Jewel? Jay? or maybe, maybe Jungkook?

She walked towards the ring holding her head high in confidence like a powerful alpha. Her gaze and face was blank and power oozing from her with each step she take. She walked into the middle of the ring right passed me without even spearing me a glance. A low growl escaped from my mouth at her actions. Everyone's eyes snapped towards me hearing my low growl thanks to their super hearings and the silent that fell upon here with her presence. Our gazed met for a second and she instantly looked away like my gaze hold fire. She cleared her throat to gain everyone's attention back.

"I welcome all of you present here today warmly! I am Angel Christina the alpha of dark shadow pack. As you all know I am the one who arranged this open challenge. It is because I want to prove myself to my pack and to the other alphas how worth I am of being the alpha of this pack." She said and my breath hitched for the second time since I saw her today. Is she accepting the position? "As you know anyone present here can challenge me for the position including my pack members." She said and few alphas smirked at that. "But you should remember if you fight with me and loose the fight what once was yours will be mine. That means if a alpha loose against me his pack would be mine." She said and those smirks flattered for a second before replacing back underestimating her skills in the battle field probably thinking that they stand a chance with her. I mentally smirked at that. If what Jimin said was correct then there is no way in hell these alphas gonna walk away minimum without broken limbs or maximum dead. This is gonna be fun! No! What? Are crazy Jungkook? You supposed to stop this! I mentally yelled at myself but deep down I trust her. I trust her skill and ability to defeat these alphas.

She dismissed her beta and stood in the middle of the field scanning everyone. Suddenly she lifted her t-shirt and removed it revealing her black sport-bra underneath it exposing her perfect upper body shape. A few whistles were heard with lot of lustful gazes. A deep growl escaped from my mouth,

"MINE!" My voice roared in the ground making everyone flinched. Everyone who are unknown to the fact she being my mate gasped at that with wide eyes. Few even backed away probably regretting ever coming to this challenge. I saw fear in every alphas eyes knowing what would happen if they hurt my mate. But my mate who stood in the middle unaffected by any of this just simply rolled her eyes. I clenched my jaws and was about to step into the ring when Tae and namjoon hyung hold me back.

"Trust her!" All of them said in unison and that made me backed away. She clapped her hands breaking away everyone from their shock trance and gaining there attention once again.

"But before the challenge start I want to do this to make sure that all of you aware what you, yourself getting into." She said loudly with cold eyes. Everyone's shocked face turned into curious with those words. And that's when i the middle of the field she shifted into her pure white magnification wolf. Jewel! My wolf howled in my mind seeing her wolf after back months. She stood their proudly while her silky fur glisten under the sun-lights. The sight of the wolf is breath taking. Never in my life I had seen a beautiful wolf like hers. She opened her silver eyes which stared to glow as power start radiant from her. all the omegas and betas present here went on their knees at how much power oozing from her. She howled into sky in a commanding tone and that made everyone present here no matter what there ranking is to went on their knees in submission. My knees start to buckled up and it felt like jellies under her command. I almost knelled in submission. Almost! But stopped when her voice rang inside my mind.

"Don't submit!" She said through the mind-link which immediately stopped my action and straighten me up with new found energy. I straighten up and scan the area to find everyone on there knees head hung low. And some were even whimpering. I looked at my mate's wolf and smiled proudly at her who was walking away from there or more like dazing away, but I could catch her super fast actions with my powers. Soon after she walked back wearing a simple tight jean and a black top. She is super fast.

"Rise!" She command again as she stood in the same spot before. They all stood up slowly and looked at her with wide eyes. Some even gulped seeing her cold gaze at them. "So anyone who wants to challenge me can step into the ring." She stated and scan the ground waiting for anyone to step into the ground. She had this daring look on her eyes. She waited patiently few minutes and smirked seeing no one is dared to challenge her. All of us boys had a proud look and amazement on our eyes at her.

She scan the area again and that's when our gaze met fully. I got goosebumps on my body seeing her cold gaze and dark smirk. Her once innocent, sweet gaze was no longer there. It was cold and fierce. Her sweet aura now was turn into powerful aura. Her once soothing voice now held the dominance on it. She is a whole new person. She is changed. What happened to her?

"You just woke up the monster inside me." Suddenly her words from that night ringed inside my mind like a mantra as I stared deep into her eyes to find that sweet gaze underneath it, but couldn't. It's me. I am the one who changed her. All these time we didn't noticed how she was changing little by little. Yes she said she will become this. But she didn't do it immediately. She did it little by little unknown to all of us and now here she is as the monster she claimed herself be. This is all because of me. I am the one cause all of this. I am the one who did this to her.

I woke up the monster inside her!
