Shivansh got up as soon as the crown was kept on his head. Kashi got up along with him. He joined his hands. " I know that we didn't have good relations with my uncle and aunt but they were still our family. We will do their last rituals of them in a proper way." said Shivansh.
All of the royal families and media understood. " Our guards will take you out ensuring your and your family's safety." said Kashi in a soft voice. All the guests joined their hands and then started to walk out while the royal guards made sure that they are safe.
Shivansh would look at Dada Hukum. A family doctor, who was also invited in the function, had done the bandage of Dada Hukum. Thankfully the bullet hadn't hurt Dada Hukum a lot and it was just mare scratches.
Kashi and Shivansh came to Dada Hukum. He had a very beautiful smile on his face.
" Main humesha se tumhe Hukum sa banne hue dekhna chahta tha. Aaj mera yeh sapna pura ho gaya. Bass ab jaldi se main par dada ban jau aur kuch nahi chahiye."
"I always wanted to see you as the Hukum sa. Today my dream has come true. Now I just want to become a great grandfather soon and I don't want anything else."
Kashi's cheeks flushed a deep crimson as Dada Hukum's words hung in the air. She tried to lower her gaze, but the teasing grins of those around her made it impossible to escape the moment.
Prisha, who had been standing nearby, couldn't resist joining in the fun. She leaned in close to Kashi, whispering mischievously, "You know, Kashi, I've always dreamed that we would be pregnant together. Imagine our little ones growing up as best friends, just like us." said Prisha.
Kashi's eyes widened, and she lightly nudged Prisha. "Prisha! Don't start now." said Kashi. But Prisha was unstoppable. "Oh come on, Kashi! Just think about it. Two beautiful babies, learning to crawl and walk side by side. It's perfect!" said Prisha.
Naina, who had been listening in, suddenly piped up, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "And I want to be a bua as soon as possible! Just imagine all the fun I'll have spoiling my niece or nephew!" said Naina.
Kashi's blush deepened, and she quickly glanced over at Shivansh, hoping for some support. But Shivansh, though trying to maintain his usual stoic demeanor, couldn't hide the amusement in his eyes. He simply shrugged as if to say, You're on your own, love.
Ritika, who had been quietly observing, decided to add her voice to the chorus. " Hukum Rani Sa, you do know that everyone in the palace is eagerly waiting for the pitter-patter of tiny feet, right? No pressure, but you've got quite the fan club here." said Ritika.
Kashi shook her head, trying to fend off the teasing, but it was clear she was outnumbered. Just as Prisha and Naina were about to continue their playful banter, Yuhan strode into the room, catching the tail end of the conversation.
"Alright, that's enough. Give my sister a break, will you? Let her breathe!" Yuhan declared, stepping in between Kashi and then others.
The girls burst into laughter at Yuhan's attempt to shield Kashi. Prisha, ever the troublemaker, shot Yuhan a teasing grin. "Oh, come on, Yuhan! We're just having a little fun. Besides, it's not like she hasn't thought about it too." said Prisha.
Yuhan rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress a grin. "I know, I know. But can't you at least let her adjust to being the Hukum sa's queen first? You all are too much!" said Yuhan.
Naina crossed her arms playfully. "Alright, Yuhan ji, we'll give her a break-for now. But don't think this conversation is over. We're all very excited for what's next!" said Naina.
Kashi let out a sigh of relief, her heart warming at the playful exchange. Though they teased her mercilessly, she knew it all came from a place of love. She looked at Shivansh, who finally stepped forward, placing a protective arm around her shoulders.
"Thank you, Yuhan, but I think Kashi can handle herself. Besides, I'm sure she knows we're all in this together, no matter what." said Shivansh while smirking at his friend.
Kashi leaned into Shivansh's embrace, feeling the comfort and support of her family and friends. Despite the teasing, she felt truly blessed to be surrounded by so much love.
Prisha, unable to resist one last jibe, added with a wink, "Just remember, Kashi, we're all counting on you!" said Prisha.
Everyone erupted in laughter, and even Kashi couldn't help but join in. It was in moments like these, surrounded by her loved ones, that she realized just how fortunate she was to have such a wonderful family by her side.
Akshita looked at everyone. " Come on, let's go home. It is getting late." said Akshita. Everyone nodded. After that they all sat down in the car and then left for the palace. The family reached back to the palace.
Akshita looked at Ritika. " Ritika, go and get the aarti plate. I want to do the aarti of the new Hukum sa and Hukum Rani Sa." said Akshita in a soft voice. Ritika nodded and then went inside.
Dada Hukum looked at Jai. " Jai, I think it is time for your and Ritika's engagement. " said Dada Hukum in a soft voice. He looked at him. " Yes Dada Hukum, I was also thinking to go to the village and talk to Maa about my marriage." said Jai.
Bhairav came to him and tapped on his shoulder. " Jai, then you should talk with Raghu and take Ritika also with you. " said Bhairav. Jai nodded. Ritika came out with the aarti plate in her hand.
Akshita took the plate and then came to Kashi and Shivansh. She did their aarti and then put a tilak on their foreheads. " Now you both are officially the Hukum sa and Hukum Rani sa of this state." said Akshita.
After the aarti, they both bent and then touched the feet of Akshita. They both took her blessings. After that they both came inside. Everyone else also came inside with them. But they were so tired that they went back to their rooms.
Kashi was very tired after all the ceremonies. Shivansh looked at her and understood that she is tired. He quickly bent and then picked up Kashi in his arms, who was shocked. " Hukum sa." said Kashi.
He started to walk towards the stairs. " Hukum sa, keep me down. Someone will see." said Kashi, " I don't care and now we are married almost for 3 months so, no one should care. " said Shivansh.
Shivansh headed towards their room. Shivansh pushed the door open and came inside. He kept Kashi on the bed and the closed the door. " You should go and change now. " said Shivansh, " Sure Hukum sa." she said and then headed towards the washroom.
When suddenly Shivansh held her hand and pulled her closer. " Hukum sa." she said, " Why are you calling me Hukum sa?" asked Shivansh, " Because now you are the official Hukum sa." said Kashi.
Shivansh smiled and then gave a kiss on the forehead of Kashi. " So if you will call me Hukum sa, then I will also call you Hukum Rani sa. MY HUKUM RANI SA." said Shivansh. Kashi cupped his cheeks.
" And you are MY HUKUM SA." said Kashi. They both smiled and then shared a small kiss.
The soft glow of the palace lights illuminated the grand hallway as Shivansh and Kashi shared a tender moment, both feeling the weight of their new titles.
Their playful exchange was a brief reprieve from the responsibilities they now bore as Hukum sa and Hukum Rani sa. As Kashi slipped into the washroom to change, Shivansh couldn't help but smile, knowing that despite the challenges ahead, they would face them together.
Meanwhile, downstairs in the servant's quarters, Jai was pacing back and forth, gathering the courage to speak to Raghu Kaka.
The thought of taking Ritika to his village filled him with both excitement and nervousness. He finally decided to approach Raghu Kaka, who was overseeing the evening's activities.
"Raghu Kaka." Jai called out softly, trying to catch the elder man's attention. Raghu Kaka turned, his wise eyes meeting Jai's. "Yes, Jai? What is it, beta?" he asked, his voice filled with warmth.
Jai hesitated for a moment before speaking, "Kaka, I wanted to ask for your permission to take Ritika to my village. I need to speak with my mother about... about our marriage." he said, his voice steady but laced with underlying emotion.
Raghu Kaka studied Jai for a moment, a smile slowly spreading across his face. "You wish to take Ritika to meet your mother? That's a big step, Jai." he said, clearly pleased with the young man's intentions.
Jai nodded earnestly, "Yes, Kaka. I believe it's time. I want to do things the right way, with your blessings and with Ritika by my side." he said. Raghu Kaka placed a comforting hand on Jai's shoulder, his voice gentle and reassuring.
" Jai, I've watched you grow up in this palace, and I've always seen you as one of my own. If taking Ritika to your village is what your heart desires, then you have my blessing. But remember, Jai, this is a significant journey, not just in distance but in life. Treat Ritika with the respect and care she deserves, and all will be well." he said.
Jai felt a wave of relief wash over him. "Thank you, Kaka. I promise to take care of Ritika, always." he said.
Raghu Kaka nodded approvingly. "Good. Now, why don't you go and talk to Ritika? I'm sure she'll be thrilled to hear about your plan." said Raghu Kaka.
Jai smiled, his heart lighter as he made his way to the kitchen where Ritika was finishing up the evening's tasks. He found her carefully putting away the last of the dishes, her movements graceful and precise.
"Ritika." Jai called out softly, not wanting to startle her. Ritika turned, her face lighting up with a smile when she saw Jai. "Jai, what are you doing here? Is everything alright?" she asked, wiping her hands on her apron.
Jai approached her, his eyes filled with warmth. "Everything's fine, Ritika. In fact, I wanted to talk to you about something important." said Jai. Ritika looked at him curiously, tilting her head slightly. "Important? What is it, Jai ji?" asked Ritika.
Jai took a deep breath, his heart racing with anticipation. "Ritika, I've been thinking... I want to take you to my village. I want you to meet my mother and talk to her about our future." said
Ritika's eyes widened in surprise, her cheeks flushing with a mixture of excitement and shyness. "Your village? Jai ji, that's... that's a big step." she said, her voice soft.
Jai nodded, reaching out to gently take her hand in his. "I know it is, Ritika. But I want to do this right. I want to introduce you to my mother, to the people who mean the most to me. And I want to start this new chapter of our lives with you by my side." said Jai.
Ritika felt a rush of emotion at Jai's words. She had always dreamed of this moment, and now that it was here, it felt almost surreal. "Jai ji, I... I don't know what to say." she whispered, her heart pounding in her chest.
Jai smiled, his grip on her hand tightening slightly. "Just say yes, Ritika. Say you'll come with me and help me make this dream a reality."
Ritika's eyes glistened with unshed tears of happiness. She nodded, a bright smile breaking across her face. "Yes, Jai. I'll come with you. I want to meet your mother and see the village where you grew up." said
Jai's heart soared at her response, and he pulled Ritika into a gentle embrace, holding her close. "Thank you, Ritika. You've made me the happiest man today," he murmured into her hair.
Ritika held him tightly, feeling the warmth and security of his embrace. "And you've made me the happiest woman," she whispered back.
As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Raghu Kaka watched from a distance, a contented smile on his face.
He knew that the journey ahead for Jai and Ritika would be filled with love, challenges, and growth. But with the bond they shared, he was confident they would navigate it all with grace and strength.
After a few moments, Jai pulled back slightly, looking into Ritika's eyes. "We'll leave tomorrow morning. I'll make all the arrangements tonight." he said, his voice filled with determination. Ritika nodded, her smile unwavering. "I'll be ready, Jai ji." said Ritika
As they made their way back to their respective quarters, both Jai and Ritika felt a sense of excitement and anticipation for the journey that lay ahead. It was a journey not just to a village but toward a future they would build together.
