Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook

He blamed both Jamie and Jarrod for the misfortunes of his family and the Lawrence Group. In his eyes, Jamie and Jarrod were far from innocent.
A burning hatred burned in Nicole's gaze as she faced Jarrod. If I had the strength, I would have finished you off myself, making sure you and Jamie faced your reckoning together.
Jarrod's expression darkened at her words.
Suddenly, he grabbed Nicole by the neck and pushed her against the nightstand.
Because of this, Nicole coughed violently.
His indifference to her pain was evident when he coldly commented, "You're getting very reckless, Nicole."
He lifted her effortlessly, throwing her onto the bed.
Although the softness of the bed cushioned his fall, the impact was very strong.
Nicole, alarmed, asked him as he advanced, "What are you up to, Jarrod?"
Jarrod leaned in with a wicked smile on his face. He told himself that he didn't need to negotiate with Nicole. He could do whatever he wanted with her. It was his wife.
«I offer you the opportunity to redeem yourself by having my child.
Even with a baby, you can't erase what you've done! Jarrod declared.
He lunged at Nicole, trying to remove her clothes.
âGet away from me!â Nicole snapped at him, her voice thunderous.
He didn't know how much longer he could last without the painkillers.
However, he knew he had to persevere until his father's operation. She refused to suffer anymore for Jarrod.
âI won't let you touch me again,â Nicole stated, clinging to her torn clothes, her skin ghostly with pain.
Jarrod's irritation flared at her resistance. His voice was icy: "Don't think I will be moved by your act of mercy."
Then he squeezed her cruelly, and Nicole felt as if the organs in her chest were being squeezed hard.
Suddenly, blood gushed from Nicole's mouth, splashing onto Jarrod's white shirt.
The sight visibly unsettled Jarrod.
For a moment, his heart seemed to falter, realizing it was Nicole's blood.
âWhy are you bleeding like that?â Jarrod's voice lost its cold detachment, sounding strained.
Nicole, with a bitter smile and blood at the corner of her mouth, replied: "It's not unusual for someone with cancer."
Jarrod could not understand her statement as truth, suspecting that she was mocking him.
Seeing that his shirt was soaked in blood, Nicole expected Jarrod's wrath. Unexpectedly, he got up and headed to the bathroom.
Leaving the bathroom, Jarrod carefully lowered Nicole into the tub.
As he began to remove her clothes, Nicole froze before pushing his hands away.
Jarrod hugged her tightly, trying to calm her: âStay still.
You are not in a position to do this alone. Let me help you get clean.â
Nicole, however, resisted, adamant in her refusal.
âI don't want your help,â he said, his voice tinged with disgust.
In her eyes, Jarrod was nothing more than a womanizer.
Despite his protests, Jarrod seemed unfazed.
Jarrod wouldn't stop what he was going to do, even if she hated him.
His determination was unwavering, whether it was sleeping with her, sharing a bath, or the prospect of starting a family together.
His tone was icy as he issued a warning: "If you don't stop struggling, I will do it right now."
"How can you be so vile?" Nicole retorted, her disgust palpable.
Ignoring her protest, Jarrod proceeded to strip her naked and lower her into the water.
He grabbed her firmly and told her bluntly: âWe've already slept together before. And now you feel disgusted with me?
Nicole's cheeks flushed red as Jarrod washed her without a hint of emotion.
Jarrod then refilled the tub until the water was clear.
Despite the scars that marred his back, testament to his difficult life abroad, Jarrod's hands were well cared for.
She had fine fingers and immaculate nails, which gave her a certain elegance, as did her attractive face.
However, when he touched her, Nicole could feel the hardness of the calluses against her skin, a stark reminder of his toughness.
Instinctively, Nicole moved away from his touch.
Jarrod scoffed at her reaction. «Consider yourself lucky. There are many women who want to sleep with me.
Jarrod demanded their attention, his tone dissatisfied.
«You should be grateful that I sleep with you. Do you understand? »
Confidence in this sense was not foreign to Jarrod. Beyond his attractiveness, he took pride in his skill.
The condition was his willingness to be kind.
Among the Ardlens women he was willing to be kind to, Nicole stood out for her reticence, a stark contrast to Jamie.
Unimpressed, Nicole replied coldly, "The water is getting cold."
His reply cut Jarrod's words short.
Although he was in a bad mood, he wrapped her in a towel and carried her to bed.
Exhausted, Nicole lay in silence. He thought Jarrod wouldn't be spending the night here because of his wedding tomorrow.
Plagued by unbearable stomach pain, Nicole desperately needed rest. However, his attempt to close his eyes was thwarted by the sharp pain.
Half asleep, she heard the door open and assumed Jarrod had left.
Later, she woke up to the sound of Jarrod returning with water and medicine, urging her to take the pills.
