Chapter 18

One Year Later

Dealer's Girl

One Year Later:

Third POV:

Two girls stood inside a flower shop. One with dark red hair sat at the register and the other with brown hair was watering the flowers.

"Can we close up now?" Lexi called out to her girlfriend.

"What if someone wants to buy some flowers and the door is locked?" Madi walked over to the counter.

"Then it sucks for them and they can come back tomorrow." Lexi rolled her eyes.

The bell at the door jingled and the girls turned to see a boy they knew well come in.

"Chase!" Madi smiled.

"Hey, ladies." Chase smirked, walking forward.

"Is Liv here?" Madi looked around.

"Actually, we're going on a date and I needed some flowers to bring her." Chase looked at the different types of flowers.

"See?" Madi smirked at her girlfriend.

Lexi rolled her eyes but a smile remained on her face.

"These are perfect." Chase pointed at pink roses.

"Yes, Liv loves pink and roses." Madi nodded.

"You'll even get a discount." Lexi added.

"That's exactly why I do my business here." Chase walked towards the counter as Madi wrapped the flowers.

"Tell Liv that Lexi and I said hello and we'll all hang out soon." Madi handed the flowers to Chase.

"Roger that. Have a good day, ladies." Chase saluted.

"You too!" Madi waved. Then she faced her girlfriend. "See! What if he wanted flowers and we were gone?"

"I'm sure he could've managed." Lexi said as she removed her name tag from her shirt. "Now, how about we go on a date of our own?"

"Really? Now? We smell like flowers." Madi removed her name tag too.

"Is that really a problem? It's like my late birthday present." Lexi laced her hand in Madi's.

"Your birthday was two weeks ago. You can't keep using that excuse." Madi smiled.

"Here, look." Lexi reached behind her and pulled out a flower. "I even got you a flower."

"Oh, thank you." Madi rolled her eyes, grabbing the flower.

"Let's go, sunshine." Lexi pulled Madi towards the door once they got outside, Madi made sure the door was locked.

"I'm ready." Madi looked at her.

Lexi was already staring at Madi so she added. "I love you, Madison."

"I love you, Alexis." Madi said.

The two girls walked down the road as the sign above their shop glowed brightly.
