Chapter 237
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
âHad you not asked for a divorce, none of these would have happened either!â Rosalie screamed at
the top of her lungs.
Since things had come to this point, she no longer cared. She flung his hand away.
âTheodore Spencer, you were the one who asked for a divorce so youâ could be with Cynthia! Now
that weâre divorced, donât even think about pushing all the blame to me! If you insist that was wrong,
the only wrong I did was to marry you! Marrying a man in love with another woman was the biggest
mistake of my life!â she yelled agitatedly.
Then, she swung open the door of her car and drove off.
Theodore stared at the car driving off in the distance, looking forlorn. Every single word she spoke
was a hammer knocking on his heart.
He sighed, and paused for a moment before walking into the house instead of leaving. Half an hour
later, he left the house and drove off
Rosalie returned to her apartment, feeling completely exhausted. She was supposed to have dinner
with Rebecca, but she missed dinner and the sky had already turned dark.
She laid weakly on the bed as she sighed heavily.
âTheodore Spencer, you bastard! Why did I marry a scoundrel like you?â
How could he blame it all on her?! That was simply too much!
He wasnât a good husband to begin with, and now, she wouldnât even consider him a decent
person! She had misjudged him thoroughly.
Rosalie didnât sleep soundly in what was still an unfamiliar place to her, and she woke up early the
next morning.
She told Rebecca yesterday that she would visit her again first thing the next morning. She wanted
to apologize to the latter.
She cared about Rebeccaâs feelings, as much as Theodore didnât.
To her, Rebecca was her closest kin in the entire world. She would beg for Rebeccaâs forgiveness,
no matter what it took.
Rosalie puked in the washroom for a while before leaving the house.
She considered herself lucky that her morning sickness wasnât too bad. She had seen pregnant
ladies suffering from terrible morning -sickness who would puke the entire day, and everything they
ate.
If her morning sickness was terrible, others would be able to tell with one glance that she was
pregnant.
Her belly was growing day by day. She would think of a way to tell Rebecca that she had to leave
for a period of time after begging her, for forgiveness.
She would then give birth to the baby in secret. Perhaps by then, she would find the courage to tell
Rebecca the truth.
Rosalie prepared some snacks, and headed straight to Rebeccaâs. When she walked in, Zane
stepped forward and greeted her.
âMadam.â
âZane, Iâm already divorced. Iâm no longer the mistress of the household.â
âWellâ¦â Zane smiled. âIâve gotten used to calling you that. If Madam Jarvis were to hear me change
my address to you, she might become sad again.â
Rosalie nodded. âAll right, then.â
As long as Rebecca was happy, she didnât mind how she was being addressed.
âHow is Grandma doing?â She asked.
âMadam Jarvis has been spending most of her time in her room. Sheâs still in a bad mood over what
happened yesterday.â
Rosalie bowed her head, looking forlorn. âI wish to see Grandma. May
1?â
âMadam doesnât want to see you right now. You should head back.â
âZane, help me inform her that Iâm here. Tell her that I really know my mistake, and want to see her
to explain things to her. Please, I beg you.â
Rosalie stepped forward.
âHow about this? Iâll tell Grandma that myself. Please, Zane!â
