Her mind peaceful only focused on the woman moving around the kitchen Katiandra refused to think about something else than her and only her.
Breathing in the exquise and lovely perfume of the dazzling florals arrangements that was on the counter which made it seemed like you were in a tropical cooked lift Katiandra spirit making her smiled contented.
She felt so loved by how Lorelei told her she placed one vase of Lilies in all the rooms of the condo even in the office, knowing it was her favorites.
I was so sweet Katiandra remembered laughing feeling free for a moment. It was true she liked those it made her feel at home, which was exactly how she felt right lingering her eyes on her love, as she was following her every move feeling privileged of having her in her life.
From her peripheral vision she saw how her face contorted in pain when she tried to take something in the drawer above the counter she was cooking in.
Standing up Katiandra who was exactly looking to see if it was really good as she made it look, held her from behind her heart hurting for being the one causing that pain.
After giving her a hot bath she could see how damage her body looks. Covered with hickeys and mark that was left after she finished with her she had to admit that wasn't making love, she needed to feel rawness in another level which she did.
The price of that was difficult to swallow to see her that much in pain was difficult for Katiandra who not caring what she was trying to say lead her to the living room where seats were more comfortable forcing her to seat.
She was about to let her there to go take what she cooked for them to eat when she held her hand making her stopped to look her way. Her innocent and peaceful eyes making her more upset of than she already was, unable to comprehend she had to do that to...
"Hey, hey... Stop it now. Stop it love. I will not break... I'm here for you hear me?" Searching her eyes Lorelei had to stand up to hold the older woman face in hers to stop her from overthinking, she knew how she was with her wellbeing. She was able to kill someone Lorelei knew.
"Look at me baby, look at me. I'm fine, I will not lie to you. I respect you enough to do that. Yes I'm sore... But tell me... Last time I was in pain from us doing it, I recover right? It was new my love... I enjoyed it very much it showed a part of you... Sure I could not support everyday, but once in a while it's okay, mmm? I love you, I love you, all of you actually even that... Mmm, that beast you showed me I was able to tame right?"
Wriggling her eyebrows at Katiandra blushing face, Lorelei kept pushing it untill the woman giggled never leaving her eyes.
"I'm sorry... Shhhh, I get that you are not made of glass my love. I will take care of that body hmm? We are okay? Huh huh? I'm so blessed to have you. You're a gift you know that, right? Sit now I'll go take our food."
Eating in silent the light meals Lorelei made them knowing none of them was really hungry consisting of fried fish and rice, and a sufficient amount salad of fruits.
Simple but delicious, Katiandra ate what was put in her plate not only did she know she had to eat to have her strength back but everything Lorelei looked was good for her. It was always a pleasure to savour her meals she was a good cook.
Her eyes diverting from time to time on her partner Lorelei could see that she was far in her thoughts but she could also see that it was a good far with the small smile that was playing on her full voluptuous lips.
Chewing the last bit of food that was left in her plate she swallowed the contain of her glass of water before wiping her lips her body thanking her for giving it the fuel it needs to function normally.
Gathering everything before Lorelei did Katiandra took it to the kitchen where she took care of the cleaning. She always gets that sense of normalcy when doing so, she could then dream of a reality where she were married to Lorelei in their own house, and that would be her making what a wife would do.
Taking care of her family.
She made sure Alicia food was well kept before migrating back in the living room, stopping on the doorframe she leaned on it taking her beauty, it was an almighty sight, like looking at the sunrise on the most wonderful beach with a wonderful breeze playing warmly in her head and the seagulls sound around calming her.
At herself she was a therapy session to restore her soul, feeling like it she walked towards her taking the seat near her before glancing at her with a sad smile on. Interlocking theirs fingers Lorelei waited almost holding her breath.
"Norman is gone."
Shaking her head up and down at the piece of information, Lorelei kept her mouth shut waiting, her eyes scrutinizing her partner face when she saw her chin started trembling with her fighting it she tightened her grip on her hand caressing the back with her thumb.
" With...uhh... Kayley. She, she... OMG." Shaken with a cry that was coming from the pit of her soul she hide her red face in her free hand before feeling Lorelei embrace provided her a safe place to let go of her sorrow.
Crying her pain out not keeping anything in her she cried her eyes out Lorelei murmuring soft words of love in her ears, soothing her the best she could.
Fighting her own tear away the young woman didn't bother to find why the young woman she saw one time was gone, she didn't really know her.
What did bother her was the way it hurt the woman in her arms, her crying was like the trash of a computer, she was her well built system, to have her like that she felt down not knowing what to do but hold her. Her pain she could feel in her own flesh making her hold her tight.
Tired Katiandra found her face in the crock of Lorelei neck with them laying on the couch her cuddling her side almost laying on her while she made circles on her back, it felt so good that the Queen didn't felt like one but like a baby. Sniffing she hugged her partner torso her respiration still shaky.
"From now Raphaëlly will be the chief of my security. Norman, he will protect Kayley in the USA... She will be living there now."
Responding with a squeeze of her body on hers. The space she was giving her was just what Katiandra needed to let go.
"It was the only way to protect her as I can. I, I could not see her again...but I did what I had to do.
No one really knows. I, she will be starting to work with Dr Killian."
"O...kay." Chuckling at Lorelei doubtful but humorous intervention, Katiandra pressed her face in her torso to muffle her reaction, self conscious of the way Lorelei clothes with as wet even though she knew she didn't mind it.
"Not that I don't trust your judgement but... I pray for Dr Killian she will need it. I saw her one night but I can tell that daughter of yours is... Something else. She may look like her father but I can tell she is as strong as her mother."
Taking it on that end, Lorelei said met by Katiandra soft chuckle at her word. It was not the sound she preferred but they where getting there.
"Yes she is. Stronger than me." Looking up at the wonderful grey orbs she loved so dearly the green ones keeping herself up as she could on her left elbow added nodding her head pensively.
"She really is... I, didn't know what she had to face. Why she was so bitter all of a sudden... Why she resent me so much. I preferred to put it on a rebellious periods she was facing. Convincing myself she was okay... I, I invested myself in Alicia... All she was doing all this time was calling for my help... Lorelei... I was her mother... Her mother for God sake! How did I failed to see that she needed me!? How? What kind of mother I am if I can't take care of my own daughter? Tell me, tell me..."
Shaking her head her eyes searching in Lorelei the reject, the reproach that was the reflection of her inner being Katiandra finally pushed herself to sit crisscrossing her legs mirrored by the young woman whose face and eyes showed none of what she thought she could feel toward her.
"None of what you can tell me can chance the way I feel about you... Kate... Things can get out of control sometimes, that doesn't mean that you are less of a mother or a human. Don't make that head to me. If it was me right now what will be your advise?"
