After the police case incident, everything turned worse than before. Although Damini and Rajveer didn't say anything to Preet, they turned cold and mostly ignored her presence.
But Urmila starts torturing her with her words and completely prohibits her from meeting Avni and even warns Avni to not talk with her if she respects her for even a bit.
Veer knows about their cold behavior but he has no clue about the emotional suffering Preet is going through in his house. He stays in the office the whole day so all these things are hidden from him. She also did not tell him as he came home tired and she didn't want to worry him and give him stress for these useless things.
Thinking it was their anger toward her because of her parents, she tried not to take them to her heart and ignored Urmila's taunts at her.
Sumitra was enjoying all this. And feeling peace seeing Preet silently suffering. And why not after all she is behind all this. She is the one who sent her injury photos to her parents and misled her parents about Rajvansh.
Preet comes inside the room with their breakfast. She looks at Veer getting ready for the office after she places the tray on the table.
She served his breakfast on a plate. And walk to him.
"First have your breakfast," she told him, making him shake his head.
"I can't preet. I am late. A very important client is coming today," he said and took his phone and slipped his wallet in his pocket.
She looked at him searching for his car keys. Taking the keys from bed, she forwards them to him.
"Thank you,"
He smiled at her.
"I feel like raising a baby," she muttered, adjusting his tie properly. He chuckled at her.
"I am just preparing you for our future," She slapped his chest lightly while smiling shyly.
"Make sure to eat something in the office," he nodded and kissed her cheek.
"I will,.. Don't worry. I should go now. I will be late todayâ¦" she blinked her eyes.
He gives a small peck on her lips and walks out of their room.
Her smile fell looking at him going away. She sigh sadly and looked at the breakfast getting cold.
She although didn't feel like eating but she doesn't want to waste food so she eat breakfast before went to get ready to go her restaurant.
While going down she saw Avni sitting in the living room and eating fruits. She smiles seeing her cutely eating the fruit like a baby.
As she reached down, she opened her mouth to ask about her health but Urmila entered.
"Avni beta go to your room," she said softly to Avni then looked at Preet blankly.
It's hurt Preet so much, breaking her heart seeing her behavior toward her.
"But momâ¦"
"Avni, go. I don't want anyone's evil eyes on you and baby. I am just protecting you," she told her hurting preet than she is.
Avni looked at Preet with sadness and went to her room.
Preet walked away with her broken heart.
Few days later
Sumitra saw Preet coming out of the kitchen with fruit salad in her. She noticed a few pieces of Papaya in the salad bowl and frowned.
"Isn't she pregnant?" she thought.
But her confusion got clear when she took a piece of papaya and ate it while going toward her room.
She was shocked but then smiled evilly. She was so stressed and scared about her being pregnant. But she should do something before her fear comes true.
Veer hugged Preet from back and kissed her crook softly making her shiver. She looked at him in the mirror.
"How was your day?" she asked and sigh softly when he slowly trail his lips toward her shoulder.
She moans and tilt her head on the side giving him more access to her skin.
A hiss left from her lips when he dug his teeth on her shoulder.
"First eat somethingâ¦you must be hungry," she murmured between her heavy breathing.
"Shhâ¦don't talk. Let me have my treat," hearing his deep hoarse, she felt butterflies in her stomach.
"Oh god!..umm" she gripped his hand which slipped inside her lower and touched her down making her whole body shake in pleasure.
"You feel so goodâ¦" he whispered huskily in her ear then bite her earlobes.
Her head fell on his shoulder. She felt a knot forming inside her stomach.
She groans loudly when he pulls away from her and looks at her flushed face in the mirror. She glared at him feeling sexually frustrated.
She turns toward him and latches her lips on his hungrily. She bit his lips showing her anger and frustration. Her lower part is throbbing in need.
He kisses her back with equal passion and desperation.
In no time, they were on the bed naked under the blanket pleasuring each other.
Their sweating bodies slapping each other as they moan and groan, not getting enough of each other.
After intense love making, they are sitting in the balcony and cuddling into each other on the recliner, staring at the starry night.
Covered in blanket, they are taking each other warm while silently enjoying the soft breeze caressing their faces.
She sigh snuggling into his chest and close her eyes feeling peace in his arms. He kiss her hair and his hand softly caressing her bare tummy slowly.
"I was thinking of buying a house for us," suddenly Veer said.
Preet look up at him and frown in confusion and surprise.
"What?!" he sigh and look at her with smile lightly.
"I am not liking their behavior with you. It would be better if we stay away from them. It's not like our absence our make them sad," he let out sad chuckle making her sad.
"But you love them. You are doing this for me? You don't want to go, right?" Preet ask making him sigh.
"It's doesn't matter. Now you are important to me and keeping you happy is my responsibility," he said and kiss her temple.
"I am happy with you. I can stay anywhere with you. And I don't care what people say because I forget everything when you take me in you embrace. You arms are my safe heaven," she smile at him caressing his face.
"Don't be so good, Preet. This world always hurt people good and pure heart. I really feel scared for you," he whispered looking at her beautiful innocent eyes.
She giggle and peck his lips.
"Don't be scared. I have my superman with me," she grin and wink at him playfully. He chuckle at her and hug her tightly pulling more into his chest, wanting to hide this pure soul in his heart.
She close her eyes and smile feeling content in his protective embrace.
"I love you," she whispered before dozing off. He smile at her and kiss her hair and close his eyes to welcome the sleep.
Next Morning
"Please don't go today," Preet said looking at him wearing his coat.
He chuckle at her as she was requesting him not to go office today which is quiet unusual for him.
"What happen to you today?" he asked looking at her through mirror and internally groan seeing her looking so ethereal and ravishing with only blanket covered her naked body. She looks like a goddess after their hot intense make out session.
The glow on her face is irresistible and turning him on even though not even an hour since he have her and made intense love to her.
"Just stay with me today. I am feeling restless since morning," she told him looking scared.
He look at her with soft gaze and walk to her.
"I will come early today, okay? Don't stress too much," he caress her bare shoulders which was peeking from the blanket and kids her lips lightly.
"I am going. And call me if you have any problem," he softly whispered caressing her cheek loving.
She hold his hand tightly not liking the thought of him going away from her. Something is wrong she can felt it.
Her inside is clenching in fear.
"Take care," as he said this, her hold tighten around his hand.
"Veerâ¦please," she whispered feeling scared as he free his hand from her grip.
"Don't worry love. I am just a call away. I am there always," he walk away smiling at her.
"Please come back soon,"
Her heart beating fast feeling restless and felt unknown void inside her as he disappear from her sight.
She tightly clenched the blanket on her chest, turning her knuckles white.
Damini was reading the newspaper in the garden when Preet walked out to leave for work but stopped seeing her.
She bites her lips while thinking something before walking toward her with slow steps.
She bent down to touch her feet when Damini looked at her and was surprised to see her there.
She didn't stop her from touching her feet but she also didn't say anything to her.
Preet looked at her for a minute expecting her to say something but her silence hurt her.
She silently walked away and left for her work.
Damini looks at her car and sighs deeply, feeling bad for giving her the cold shoulder when she is innocent and doesn't deserve her hatred. But she can't forget the past and her pain. The past memories haunt her everyday. It is difficult for her to forget everything and start everything new.
She is trying but looking at Veer. Her pain comes back, making it hard for her.
Preet was coming back from her restaurant when her phone rang. She looks at the ID and slows down the car speed. Smiling happily, she picked the call and connected it to bluetooth.
"Hello handsome," she chirped happily, driving her car at a very slow speed.
"Pree..t" came a breathy voice making her frown.
"Veer?!" she calls him in a low voice.
"I am s..orry, love" he said in a very low and hoarse voice.
She felt her heart stop sensing the pain in his tone. She gulped in fear and breathed heavily.
"Why are you saying this?" she asked, feeling her eyes burning.
"I don't know if I could make it. I just wanted to thank you for everything you did for me. Thank you for being my soulmate, loveâ¦" he hissed and groaned in pain.
"Veer!!!" she shouted in fear speeding her car.
"Where are you? Please tell me. What happened to you?" she asked, crying feeling helpless.
"I don't know. Don't worry please don't cry," he told her with difficulty making her cry more in fear.
"Please take care. And be happy if something hap-"
"Shut up!! Don't say stupid things. You will be okayâ¦hello Veer!! Veeerrr!!" she screams and increases the speed of his car.
She is crying badly not knowing what to do and where to go.
"What should I do now? Oh God!!" she murmured as her body was shivering in fear and anxiety.
Again her phone rings and she picks up instantly seeing Veer's name.
"Veer, please hold on, I am coming. Ple-"
"Ma'am, you do know the owner of this phone," she frowned hearing the unknown voice but nodded her head.
"yes..he is my husband. Can I talk to him, please" she pleaded helplessly.
"Ma'am actually his car got into an accident and we are taking to hospital. I will send you the send address. Please come there," she froze for a second after hearing the unfortunate news.
Her body stopped functioning in panic and anxiety. Her brain stops in fear.
"Noâ¦" she murmured to herself before driving her car at high speed to the address she just received.
In the hospital
Preet was desperately searching for the room, where Veer was admitted. She is running and looking around like a mad person.
She stop one of the nurse,
"Excuse meâ¦my husband, he is here," she asked, stammering due to anxiety.
The nurse looked at her in confusion but looked at her condition. She asked in gentle tone,
"What is your husband's name?"
"Vee..er, he is here. Please help me," she sobbed, looking like a lost kid.
"Okayâ¦relax, I will ask," she softly said and called to reception.
"Can you give a little detail about him?" Preet nodded hurriedly.
"They said he got into an accident. Around an hour ago," she said, blinking her tears and wiping her teary face.
She looked at the nurse hopelessly waiting for her. The nurse looked at her and gave her a sad smile.
"Come with me," Preet nodded and followed her while sobbing lightly.
"Are you alone?" the nurse asked her, making her bobble her head.
They stop in front of OT. Preet looks at the room then turns to the nurse with a frown. Although she got the hint, she refused to believe what her mind was saying.
"He is inside. The doctor will inform you further, okay," saying she walked away leaving her in shock.
Her heart sank and made it difficult for her to breathe in anxiety.
She slowly sat down on the bench while staring at the door of OT in a daze.
"He will be okay. Don't worry. He promised to not leave her. He will not break his promise," she said to herself. Her hands formed a fists and clench it tightly making her nails dig inside her palm.
"I told him not to go but he always has to be stubborn. Let him wake up once, I am going to scold him for worrying me,"
She said and soon burst into tears not able to hold herself.
"Pleaseâ¦don't scare me, Veer," she cried looking down on her lap.
