CHAPTER 2: A HOME?

Jisung stepped into his house and closed the door behind him using his foot since his hands were pretty occupied. He gently put down both cats on the couch before pulling out his phone, "Sorry for earlier, Jinnie, some assholes were hitting a kitty and I couldn't not stop them"
"That's fine, is the cat ok?"
"It is hurt obviously but I brought it home to take care of it, give it some food and clean water" he said and glanced at the cats who were currently just looking at each other "Oh, yeah, I brought another one with me"
"What do you mean?"
"Another cat came to me when I was holding the hurt one and it looked like they knew each other. I don't know how else to explain it, so I took both" he sat down next to the cats and smiled when the orange one walked on his lap.
"Sounds like something you would do"
He reached down with his free hand to scratch behind its ear as he whispered, "You're so cute" he noticed that the orange cat was a little bit smaller than the black one
"Are you talking to the cat?"
Jisung rolled his eyes "No, I'm talking to you. Obviously I'm talking to the cat, idiot"
"Ha ha. Very funny"
The black cat slowly made its way to Jisung's figure, afraid that Jisung might turn out to be the same as the other men who hurt it. Jisung of course noticed and gave it a small smile to reassure that he wouldn't hurt it "I won't hurt you, I promise"
The black kitty sniffed Jisung's thigh before rubbing its head against it. Jisung giggled at that.
"How's Chan hyung?"
"Still has a fever but he's sleeping right now so I guess the fever will come down soon" Hyunjin explained and Jisung could hear him sigh "The idiot.. I told him to get some rest but he wouldn't listen"
"Should I cover for him tomorrow too? I could take his tables since not many people are coming to our cafe the past 3 days for some odd reason" he sighed through his nose "Both of you are going to stay home tomorrow, okay? I'll cover for you both"
"What? No, Jisung, you can't do three people's work on your own"
"Eh, it's fine. Don't forget that Seonghwa hyung is there as well so he'll be there if I need some help" Jisung told him "You stay home to take care of Chan hyung, 'kay?"
"Fine. Thanks Ji"
"Don't mention it" he hummed as he petted the black cat's back softly "I'll call you again tomorrow while i'm at work to check on you both, you should get some rest as well"
"Look at you, acting like our mom while you're the youngest out of us" Hyunjin chuckled "Goodnight, Ji"
"Night night, Hyunjin-ah"
He hung up and placed the phone on the coffee table before looking at the cats on his lap, "Soo.. Would you like some food now?"
After hearing the word 'food' both cats were off his lap and meowing at him as if they were telling him to hurry up.
"Okay okay, I'll be quick" he giggled and made his way to the kitchen.
