I woke up the next morning exhausted. I barely got enough sleep last night. I kept tossing and turning thinking about everything Dad said. The most shocking was the fact that I had a twin. The thought alone was surreal. Almost as if it wasn't even true.

I got out of bed and did my usual morning routine. I threw on a sweatshirt and leggings because it described my mood perfectly. I walked downstairs to see no one was there. Not even Jason who was an early bird.

I looked over at the clock and finally saw why. It was only 5:45. I still had about 2 hours before we would even leave for school. I sighed, wishing I hadn't woken up so early. I decided to watch some TV until it was time to leave.

I turned it on to some random channel and started to watch it, except I wasn't really watching it. I kept tuning out, replaying everything Dad said last night. Now I understood part of the reason why Mom hated me. It was because I was born and my twin brother wasn't. I lived and he didn't, and she blamed it on me.

But what I didn't understand was why she went after Justin as well. From everything that Dad said Justin had nothing to do with Moms anger. I still felt like there was a lot I still didn't know.

The doorbell ringing brought me out of my trance. Who in their right mind would ring someone's doorbell at 5 in the morning? I got up to answer it. I looked through the peephole to see no one. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. This was just like last night.

I decided not to open the door, in case this could be some sort of trick. I took my spot in the living room again. The doorbell rung yet again. I did the same thing and saw no one. I decided now would be a good time to get one of my brothers.

I went upstairs to Jason room to wake him. I walked into his room to see that he was just getting out of bed. "Lisa?" He asked groggily wiping his eyes.

"That's me," I said watching him put a shirt on.  "Why are you up so early?" he asked. Just as I was about to answer someone rung the doorbell again. I groaned out. "Someone keeps ringing the doorbell, and whenever I go to it there is no one there," I said leading him downstairs.

Jason opened the door, and just like last time, there was no one there. "Well, you did well coming to me," he said. I looked all around outside until I remembered something from last night. "Look under the welcome mat," I said.

Jason bent down and picked up the mat, revealing a small white envelope. My eyes widened in surprise as I was not expecting anything to be there. "What in the world?" Jason mumbled under his breath. He closed the door and opened the envelope to reveal, just like last time, nothing.

Jason groaned rubbing his face. "It is way too early for this," he said. "What are we gonna do?" I asked looking up at him.

"I'll bring it into the station, and check for fingerprints," he said resting it on the counter. "Until then you should probably get some more rest," he said planting a kiss on my forehead and going back upstairs.

I hope he realizes he has to wake up again in about an hour. I turned off the TV and just sat there. It gets boring real fast when you are the only one awake, but it doesn't have to be. I walked up to Justin's room and decided to prank him back for simply being annoying.

I quietly walked into his room, being careful to tiptoe around the mounds of garbage. I went directly next to his ear and screamed.

Being pushed out of Dylan's car was a fun experience. Since I was ready early I got to ride shotgun, and that didn't sit very well with Justin. To add to that he was still mad about earlier this morning when I woke him up.

So being the nice brother he was, he reached from behind my seat and pushed me out of the car, when I opened the door. To be honest, I was expecting that. I got up from the ground dusting myself off whiles glaring at a smirking Justin.

Dylan only rolled his eyes at Justin's pettiness. "Alright come on guys, people are starting to look," he said rushing us away from his car.

"What,  are you not use to the attention?" I asked sarcastically. "No, I don't want to be seen with you guys. You are going to ruin my reputation."

"Dylan, unfortunately for us, I think everyone knows we are related to you," Justin said. It was only the second day of school, but it might as well had been the 22nd day. On the first day, everyone already found their click and group of friends, who they would sit next to at lunch, etc.

Justin went his separate way, but Dylan still followed behind.

I turned around to look at him. "I thought being seen with us would bring down your oh so mighty reputation," I said putting air quotes around mighty reputation. He rolled his eyes but continued to follow me.

"I am just making sure you get to your friends."

"Aww, how sweet," I said sarcastically, but deep inside I was glad he was coming. I still wasn't the most familiar with the school.

I quickly found Anna, Aerial, Sarah, and Lucas near my locker. We established that would be our meeting point, so we can easily find each other in the mornings.  Anna and Sarah seemed to be talking about something funny, meanwhile, Lucas was on his phone, and Aerial was just spaced out.

"Hey, Lisa," Anna waved me over when she saw me. Aerial snapped out of her trance when she saw Dylan. "And who might this be?" Aerial asked smirking at Dylan.  I rolled my eyes. "This might be my brother Dylan, remember? The really annoying one," I said.

Dylan slapped the back of my head. "Hey!" I exclaimed rubbing the sore spot. "She means her favorite older brother, right?" he asked looking at me.

"As if," I said crossing my arms. I could've sworn he said he didn't want other people to know we were related.  "He is so cute," I heard Sarah whisper to Anna. Thank goodness Dylan didn't hear. It might have boosted his ego a little too much.

"Anyway, see you at lunch," he said bending down to kiss my cheek, then he left. "Your brother is so cute," Aerial said now next to me. I saw Lucas roll his eyes at Aerial's comment. "I don't know what you guys see in him. He is literally a pig in a human suit," I said getting my books out of my locker.

"Yeah right," she said fanning herself. "Aerial, control yourself," Anna said shaking her friend out of it. I chuckled as I shut my locker. "I guess its not a good thing for you that he already has a girlfriend," I said as we began walking to my first class.

She stopped in her tracks. "Who is she? Where does she live? What's her name?"

"Woah calm down detective," Sarah said.

"She doesn't go to this school. But in case you wanted to know, her name is Eva," I said. She nodded as if memorizing the information. "Have you met her," she asked.

I shook my head. "Can we stop talking about my brothers and their girlfriends and move on to a different topic?" I asked.

"Please," Lucas mumbled from behind me.

We got to my first class, and I rest my things in there next to Annas. "I hope our English class will be fun," I told Anna walking back out of the class. "Yeah me too. I heard some of the teachers here are really mean," she said.

I rolled my eyes again. Of course. There wouldnt be a school without some of those. "Let's wait in the gym. I am tired of walking," Sarah said leaning against Lucas. "I told you, you should've eaten breakfast this morning," Lucas said giving his sister a knowing glance.

"You didn't eat?" Anna asked.

"We were going to be late," Sarah said defending herself.

"Come on, the cafeteria is still open. You can get something there," Anna said leading the way to the cafeteria. We walked into the crowded cafeteria, filled with hungry, bored, mischevious and nervous kids.

Lucas, Aerial and I sat at our regular seat as Anna and Sarah went onto the food line. Lucas went back onto his phone. I was surprised none of the teachers have taken it away from him yet. But then again, they probably just didn't care.

"Lisa, that girl over there keeps staring at you," Aerial said breaking me from my thoughts. I turned around to see who she was talking about, and sure enough, Sally was there staring at me. She quickly looked away when she noticed me looking.

I rolled my eyes and turned back around. "Who is she?" Aerial asked. "No one important," I said ignoring the small pang in my chest. Aerial dropped the topic, which I was grateful for.

Anna and Sarah soon came back. Sarah held a bag of chips and water. "That's what you got for breakfast?" Lucas asked gesturing to the junk.

"Hey! At least I got water," she said gesturing to the pint-sized bottle. "Trust me, I tried talking her out of it, but it was useless," Anna said.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see that it was Sally. I literally wanted to punch her right now. One minute she was ignoring me, and the other she was trying to get my attention, just when I started to forget about her.

"What do you want?" I asked maybe a little too harshly. "Can we talk?" she asked looking down at me. "Leave me alone," was all I said, without even looking at her. She was quiet for a while then she asked again. "I'm pretty sure she just said leave her alone," Sarah said.

Sally glared at her. "No one is talking to you," she snapped. "Neither is anyone to you, so leave," Lucas said without even looking up from his phone. Sally huffed then turned around. Sarah continued eating but not after giving Sally a glare.

Besides the Sally incident, I would say my day was going really good. That was until I got to 6th hour, which for me was Anatomy. I had that class with Justin, Lucas and apparently Sally. I walked into the class sitting at the lab table in the back.

Lucas walked in and sat next to me without saying a word. He once again went on his phone. At this point, I feel like he just has some sort of agreement with the teachers to let him on his phone whenever he wants or else.

"McCormick off of your phone or its mine," the teacher said. I guess not then. "I don't remember you paying for it, so that would be stealing," Lucas mumbled but the teacher heard him. "What was that?"

"What was what?" Lucas asked innocently. "Do you want a detention young man?" the teacher asked pointing a slender finger at him. "Oh god no. I wouldn't be able to survive," he said. The teacher was about to say something when Justin walked in.

He noticed me and smirked. "Wassup sis!" he shouted all the way from the front of the class. "Do you want to explain to me why you are just now walking into class?" the teacher asked now focusing on Justin.

"Am I late?" Justin asked.

"No."

"Then no, I don't want to explain." Justin walked over to Lucas and me and sat on the next side of me. "Justin stop before you get a detention," I said as he placed his books on the desk. Well, more like slammed it down.

"What? He wanted to know if I wanted to explain, and I said no. What's the problem in that?"

"Johnson, you can join McCormick in detention after school, and Ms. Johnson since you seem to have a lot to say, you can join him too," the teacher said sitting at his desk.

I threw my hands in the air. "You can't do that!" I exclaimed. "Oh yes I can," he said.  "No, you really can't," I said. "Do you want to make that two days?" the teacher asked in a challenging way.

I slumped in my chair, glaring at Justin who just smiled at me. "I thought you already got me back," I whined. "This just adds the icing to the cake," he said.

I just stared at the board as the teacher began to teach. Sally sat two rows ahead of me and kept looking back at me every once in a while. It was really getting annoying if anything at all. "Ms. Johnson do you have the answer, or not?"

I looked around to see everyone looking at me. "The brain and spinal cord," Lucas discreetly whispered to me. I repeated what he said out loud and sighed of relief when the teacher nodded.

"I suggest you pay attention from now on," the teacher said giving me a disapproving look. Soon enough the bell rung for next hour. As I was walking out with Justin and Lucas next to me, Sally stopped me. She handed me a note, gave me a look then walked away.

I was tempted to ball it up and throw it back at her but decided to read it instead. "What does it say?" Justin asked looking over my shoulder. "Have you learned nothing about privacy?" I asked hiding the note. He held his hands up in surrender. "Alright, alright."

I pocketed the note and decided to read it later. The rest of the day was pretty much normal and soon enough it was after school. I almost forgot I had detention. I sighed thinking of the 2 hours I would have to endure torture in.

I waited outside for Justin so that we could go together. I saw him walking out with his backpack on. He started to walk to Dylan's car. I ran up to catch him. "Justin what are you doing? We have detention remember?" I said stopping him.

He laughed out loud. "Oh, did you actually think I was going to go?" he asked. I gave him a confused look. "You do know, that if we skip this one, we are just going to get another one right?" I asked. Sometimes his brain can't handle a lot so I have to break it down into simpler terms.

"I know, but I don't feel like going today. I will go to the next one," he said. I just stared up at him. No wonder Jason says he is such a bad influence. I saw Dylan and Grayson walking towards us in the distance.

"Ugghh is Grayson coming over again?" I asked slumping my shoulders.

"He comes over like every day. He practically lives there," Justin said. "Hello little siblings," Dylan said unlocking his car door. "Hey, Justin. Spicy." Grayson said winking at me. I rolled my eyes and got in the car.

"So are you going to start driving home with us every day now?" I asked. "Why, did you miss me?" he asked. I gagged. "Of course not. It would actually be a blessing if you would just walk to your own home yourself," I said.

"My heart," he said with a sad face. "You mean the piece of coal," I mumbled. "Why so moody Lisa?" Dylan asked looking through the rearview mirror. "Did someone cause you problems?" he asked. "Yeah, Justin," I said.

"Hey, you started it when you woke me up this morning," he said, giving me a pointed look. I rolled my eyes for the umpteenth time today. "Whatever," I mumbled. "Hey grandma, can you drive any slower?" Justin said gesturing towards Dylan's slow driving.

"Hey, Jason said if I get another speeding ticket, he is going to ground me and take away my car," he said. "Yeah, and I don't want to be caught in here with him when he gets another one," Grayson added.

"Wow the confidence," Dylan said full of sarcasm. "What? We all know you won't last a week," Grayson said. The boys then started to argue on how long Dylan would last before he starts speeding again.

When Dylan finally pulled up to the house I hopped out of it as fast as I could. I walked into the house to see a girl about Jason's age. She had short blond hair that looked so soft. She was also very tall from what I could tell. I closed the door behind me, leaving the three bickering boys outside. "Hello?" I said entering the living room. She looked up at me partly startled.

"Oh, hello. You must be Lisa, Jason's little sister," she said standing up. She stook out her hand for me to shake. I shook it and then just stood there. She was really pretty. She had really bright green eyes that anyone could get lost in, and cute little freckles.

I shook my head bringing myself back into reality. " Um, who are you?" I asked looking at her. "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought Jason would have told you by now. I am Hailey, Jason's girlfriend."

My mouth dropped open when she said that. I knew Jason was talking to someone, but I didn't know they had made it official. "Oh, " was all I could say as I stared at the person before me.

"Uum, well where is Jason?" I asked setting my book bag on the couch.  "He just went to the restroom, " she said smiling at me.

She seemed like a really friendly person. I wanted to go up to my room, but I didn't want to be rude. So despite my inner introverted self, I decided to make conversation with her.

"So how long have you and my brother been dating?" I asked sitting on the couch opposite her. "Just a couple of weeks, " she said rubbing her hands on her jeans.

I nodded. Justin, Dylan, and Grayson finally came inside. They all had a determined look on their face.  "Lisa can settle this argument, " I Dylan said. All three of them wales up to, ignoring Hailey who sat right across from me.

"How long do you think Dylan will last before he gets another ticket?" Grayson asked looking at me. They were still arguing about that?

I rolled my eyes and gestured to Hailey. "Now isn't really the time, " I said. Justin turned around first, finally noticing Hailey. Then Grayson and Dylan turned around.

"And you are?" Justin trailed off. I wanted to slap him for being so rude. I looked over at Hailey but she didn't seem to notice. "I'm Hailey. Jason's girlfriend."

"Woah, Jason has a girlfriend?" Justin said making an O-face. "Please ignore him. I'm Dylan and that's Grayson, " Dylan said sticking his hand out to shake hers.

I almost laughed. I didn't know Dylan had it in him to be such a...Gentlemen? She smiled and shook Dylan's hand back.

Jason came into the living room and gave us a double take. "Oh no, did they say or do something stupid?" Jason asked walking over to his girlfriend.

I laughed. "We would never, " I said with a hand in my chest. He playfully rolled his eyes. "Well, then I guess you have met everyone then, " Jason said.

"Well, it was really nice meeting you, " I said waving at her as I picked up my bookbag. "Likewise, I hope I can get to know you guys better, " she said waving back.

Dylan, Grayson and I went upstairs. I followed Dylan to his room when I remembered something. "Dylan, when are we going to meet your girlfriend?" I asked sitting on his bed.

"Hopefully never, " he said. "Aww, are you scared they won't like her?" Grayson asked making a pouty face.

Dylan glared at him. "No, I am afraid they are going to do something stupid and she won't ever want to talk to me again, " he said.

"Come on Dylan, if she is a true girlfriend she will be able to endure this family. If not then she is not the one, " I said casually.

"Yeah whatever, " he grumbled. Ha! He knew I was right. I heard the front door open and close and Hailey shouting bye up the stairs.

I used this as my time to interrogate Jason. As I went downstairs I saw him checking his phone. Justin was already down here sitting on the couch.

"Do either if you have something you want to tell me?" Jason asked looking at the both of us.

Justin and I made eye contact then looked over at Jason who seemed surprisingly calm. I didn't think Jason would find out.

I sent Justin a glare. He had a slight smirk on his face. It was almost as if he wanted both of us to get caught just so that he could get me back from this morning.

Can you believe how petty that is?
