THE SILENT LOVE ...Chapter 19 :Rohan and Rasi, who went inside the house, were questioned by Meenakshi about Swetha.“Where is that little monkey? How many times have I told you people not to drench in the rain? Being an elder to them, can’t you guide these girls?”. rebuked  Meenakshi.“Mom! When did she treat me as an elderly person? Did she ever listen to me? She is not going to come today. Her father is coming to see her. She will stay at home like an obedient kid to impress her lion”, informed Rohan.Sreekar, who was sitting in the living room, reading the newspaper heard their conversation and felt surprised by their comments on her father.“Don’t make fun of her father. He is very traditional and still follows the rituals and ethics in this modern generation. Swetha got all the kindness, morals and ethics from his nurturing. Swetha  is very lucky girl  to  have him as her father ”, stated Meenakshi.Sreekar heard her words and once again his heart ran behind the thoughts of Swetha. He remembered the way she enjoyed the rain like a kid and his heart swells with delightment. He felt hollow all of sudden by realizing that he couldn’t get a chance to see her. He felt restless thinking of not getting  a chance to see her. He couldn’t understand his heart as on one side it is feeling infuriated by seeing her with Rohan and on the other hand his heart still longing to see her. He felt like he was cheating his brother by dreaming of Swetha when they both were in a relationship. Unable to carry his emotions, he thought of getting away from there.While he was contemplating how to inform Meenakshi about his departure as he promised to stay for the day, his mobile buzzed which was on the coffee table.“Hello Deepak! What’s the matter?”queried Sreekar, after connecting the call.“Boss! Good news! The project which we were looking for a long time is going to fall at your hands. The Switzerland company called and informed us about the project. They asked to arrange a video conference at the earliest to close the project. Sir! It’s your lucky day. Who did you see early in the morning? Your dream project is going to be yours”, chirped Deepak with full enthusiasm.Sreekar has no bounds for his joy, raised from his seat and yelled,”Really! Are you sure? Are they ready to do the project with us? Oh my god! I am ready for the video conference at any time. You communicate with them and find out their timings. If it is to be held for today, I am ready for that”.“Yes boss! I will enquire with them and let you know”, assuring Sreekar, Deepak disconnected the call.Sreekar, recollecting Deepak’s words, remembered Swetha, whom he had seen early in the morning. By thinking of her, his heart filled with euphoria for making his dream come true by showing up early in the morning.Sreekar informed his aunt and uncle who were looking at him with questioning looks. He convinced them and promised to stay for the next sunday as he needed to go and get ready for the meeting.Sreekar came out of the house and went to his car to open the door but stopped by seeing Gautham who halted his bike in front of his house. An elderly man, wearing a dhoti, got down from Gautham’s bike and caught the attention of Sreekar. Sreekar watched the person and felt amazed by his attire. Though the person was wearing the dhoti, he looks very decent, dignified and a strong aura exudes from him. It looks like his personality has given a royal look to his attire as Sreekar saw people wearing dhoti but looks like a countryside person.The person looks nearly 50 years old, with a thick mustache, eyes having a sharp look and looks like a serious person. Sreekar felt like the person with his strong personality makes anyone nervous to approach him. Gautham, who observed Sreekar staring at them, gave a friendly smile and wished him.“Good morning buddy! Are you going back? He is Mr. Bala Ramaiah, my uncle, came from our home town. He is Swetha’s father”, introduced Gautham.Sreekar, who was coming near Gautham, stood still and observed Bala Ramaiah in surprise. He felt the same feeling which Rohan told earlier while speaking to Meenakshi. He acknowledges that Bala Ramaiah is not a person who can be easily approachable. He stretched his hand to wish him in courtesy.Bala Ramaiah glanced at the stretched hand, darted his eyes to Sreekar and joined his hands saying,“Namaste”.Sreekar joined his hands and replied,“Namaste Sir! I am Chandra Mohan’s elder brother’s younger son. My name is Sreekar”.Bala Ramaiah glanced at Sreekar with narrowed eyes and nodded his head as an acknowledgement. Later he went inside the house leaving the two men behind.“Oh my God! He looks like a serious person”, commented Sreekar.“Hahaha! Yes, uncle is a serious person but very kind at heart. You need to enter his heart to understand him. Are you leaving?”, queried Gautham.“Yes Gautham! I need to leave. I have emergency work. Catch you later, bye”, bidding bye to Gautham, Sreekar went to his car and opened the door. While entering the car he saw a glimpse of Swetha’s figure in the side mirror of the car and raised his head towards her balcony. Swetha, who was peeking through the window, got startled by seeing him watching her direction and immediately moved from there.*****Hai Readers, sorry to keep you waiting.
