Justin responded, walked to Bella, and glanced at her blankly.
He saw two streaks of tears on her little face that looked like the morning dew on flowers. She looked
so beautiful and pitiful at the same time.
Bella felt a little embarrassed. Her cheeks turned red with embarrassment, and a teardrop fell from her
long eyelashes.
Justin was shaken. His chest heaved as Anna tried to blink away her tears.
âYou punk! Hurry up and coax your wife!â Nigel urged angrily.
âWhy me? She didnât cry because of me.â Justin frowned in confusion.
Nigelâs eyes widened in anger. âBecause Anna is your wife! Do you want an old man like me to help
you coax your wife?! Are you stupid?!â
âGrandpa, Justin and I are divorced. Iâm notâ¦â
âIt doesnât matter! An ex-wife is still a wife in my book. He hasnât done a single good thing for you in the
past three years. He at least owes you an apology!â
Nigelâs face darkened when he heard the word âdivorceâ. His heart ached even more, as if it were his
own divorce. âYou bastard! If you donât coax Anna today, donât call me Grandpa!â
Justin pursed his thin lips and whispered, âIâm sorry.â
Bella opened her red eyes. Her heart was shaking.
In her memory, this was the first time Justin had apologized to her.
It was a pity that he was not at all sincere.
âBow in apology!â Nigel said.
âIs that necessary?â Justinâs eyebrows twitched in surprise.
âIâm being kind enough to not make you kneel on broken glass just like I did when I apologized to your
grandma. You must show your sincerity! Anna is my heart and soul. I wonât allow you to treat her so
lightly. Hurry up!â
Justin was really cornered by his grandfather. He lowered his eyes and took half a step back. Then he
put his hands on his chest and bowed deeply to Bella.
âIâm sorry, Ms. Brown. Please accept my sincere apology.â
This scene was like a scene in a TV show that made Nigelâs lips curl up in excitement.

Bellaâs cheeks turned red. She gradually stopped sobbing. Seeing Justinâs polite and serious

She was secretly glad to make Justin bow his head to her, whether he meant it or not.

When it was dinner time, Bella pushed Nigel to the dining hall while Justin walked in the back. The
three of them arrived at the table full of delicacies.
Nigel had prepared all of this for Bella.

Justinâs ear.
âSay it openly if you have anything to say.â
Nigel hated people whispering in front of him, so he said with a stern expression, âWeâre all family here,

She heard that you were dining with Old Master Nigel and didnât dare disturb you, so she contacted me
first and asked me to relay a message to youâ¦â
âHmph! At least that woman is self-aware!â Nigel disliked Shannon.
âMadam Shannon said that Ms. Gold has been diagnosed with severe depression.â
