"Love hurts. If love is so painful, why do people still chase after it?"

The interviewer’s voice echoed through the quiet studio. The cameras were rolling, capturing every flicker of emotion on Amy’s face. It was her first TV appearance in a long time—her long-awaited return. At 27 years of age, Amy had seen the highs and lows of love, success, and everything in between.

Amy let out a soft laugh, the kind that wasn’t just amusement but understanding. As if the question itself carried a weight she knew all too well. "I’ve wondered the same thing," she admitted, her gaze drifting for a moment. Then, with a wistful smile, she added, "But maybe… it’s because love, despite its flaws, is still one of the most beautiful things in life."

The interviewer leaned forward, intrigued. "And you? Did you ever regret loving your partner?" He hesitated briefly before adding, "There were… rumors, weren’t there? About the two of you?"

For a moment, Amy said nothing. Her expression softened, not with sadness, but with something deeper. Nostalgia. Affection. A quiet kind of acceptance.

"Mhm," she hummed thoughtfully. "There were times I regretted it… times when it hurt more than I thought I could handle."

She paused, but then her lips curled into a small, knowing smile. "But in the end, it was always worth it."

The interviewer raised a brow. "Always?"

Amy’s gaze didn’t waver. There was a quiet certainty in her eyes as she spoke, "Yes. No matter what we went through, I would still choose him. In this life, or any other." She exhaled softly, as if the words themselves held a truth she had long accepted. "He’s a part of me. Woven into everything I am. Even if love isn’t perfect… the moments of joy, of warmth, of simply being with him? They were always greater than the pain."

The studio was silent for a beat, the weight of her words lingering in the air.

Then, with a slight smirk, the interviewer asked, "That’s quite a strong love. So, tell me how did it all begin? How did you meet your husband?"

Amy’s serious expression melted into something lighter, a playful glint in her eyes. She tilted her head slightly, as if recalling an old, amusing memory.

"Oh, I was just a reckless girl who annoyed him into dating me."

A soft chuckle escaped her lips, and for the first time in the interview, her laughter wasn’t tinged with nostalgia, it was genuine, lighthearted.

The interviewer blinked, caught off guard, before letting out an amused chuckle himself. "That’s… not quite what I expected."

Amy shrugged with a teasing grin. "Neither did he."
