Chapter 111: Extras 2.2

“She has been in an unfamiliar environment for six hours since ten in the morning…

Shen Yichong ratted on like a madman. Yu Yaoyao had gotten out of the car and was beside Shen Yichong when she heard him air out his worries.

The corners of her mouth twitched. “You think too much, Shen Nuannuan isn’t a loser. Do you really think she is a little cry baby who can only be bullied?” she said.

This Little Sweetheart had her own similar cunning thinking as a child. She clearly knew the status of each person in the family, and on who her tricks of crying and being coquettish would work on. Little Sweetheart’s precious tears would never be used in vain.

After much deliberation, Yaoyao mulled that Little Sweetheart’s current disposition must be from the prenatal education she gave when she was pregnant. This child was very talented. She surely must have taken it after her.

Fear and helplessness? Impossible.

“How about this? We will wait by the window to see what she is doing, and then go to the teacher to pick her up.”

Yu Yaoyao came to a conclusion on the spot. For Shen Yichong’s habit of spoiling their daughter too much, something must be done. Let him see with his own eyes what kind of personality his daughter had!

When the nursery school opened, Yu Yaoyao wore sunglasses and a mask and dragged Shen Yichong  inside.

“Which classroom?” she said.

“The innermost,” Shen Yichong replied.

The couple squeezed towards the window in unison.

In order to coax Shen Nuannuan, Yu Yaoyao let her wear a new gradient rainbow-colored dress, and made a bun hairstyle for her when she went to school today. She could be recognized easily. When they were there, they almost immediately saw Little Sweetheart beside the toy table.

Her bun hairstyle was already gone. It must have loosened during naptime, and the teacher had combed her ponytail again. But the rainbow skirt was still very eye-catching, and it was especially bright among a group of children. Although they couldn’t hear the children talking inside, the couple could see how the children behaved and communicated. They saw children surrounding Shen Nuannuan while stretching their hands to her.

“What are they doing?” Yaoyao peered on curiously.

Yu Yaoyao originally trusted her daughter. Although babies aren’t able to take care of themselves, her daughter be fine in other areas. But this was the first time she saw the children interact, and she was a little curious.

Shen Yichong also frowned. “Are they snatching her toys?” he asked. The daddy with anxiety had appeared!

They observed Shen Nuannuan’s behavior. Little Sweetheart rummaged through her backpack, took out a small Barbie skirt, and handed it to the child who ranked first. Shen Yichong frowned repeatedly. But soon, Little Sweetheart had a small pack of cookies in her hands from the little friend who was at the front of the line.

Shen Yichong raised his eyebrows. “They are exchanging?”

She squeezed Shen Yichong aside, her eyes widened. “Shiroi Koibito! Those biscuits have a sweet milk flavor… it’s crunchy and slowly melts in your mouth,” Yaoyao said. “It’s delicious!”

Shen Yichong. “…”

His girl was exchanging food? She was using the little skirt he bought..? Impossible! And soon it was the next child’s turn. Little Sweetheart took her rainbow headband that matched with today’s outfit and gave it to the next child. Then, from the hands of the child, she got a chocolate in the shape of a five-pointed star.

“Huh? Isn’t this brand M’s chocolate? Red packaging, almond flavor!” Yu Yaoyao immediately licked her lips and leaned closer towards the glass window. “No, this seems to be a special commemorative edition. A new flavor!”

Shen Yichong stretched out his hand and pressed his wife’s head. “Quiet. Let’s see what they are doing.”

“Darling, you are talking nonsense! My daughter is getting food for herself, of course!” Yu Yaoyao said with a surprise smile on her face. “I knew this kid took after me! Gosh, her ability to mine food is really like my style back then.”

Shen Yichong only felt that an arrow pierced his chest. Impossible! His precious daughter could get whatever she wanted. Why would she exchange things with people just for snacks? That headband was also her favorite!

But the next second, Yu Yaoyao’s voice sounded again. “Wow, the next one is a banana! Your daughter likes to eat them too.”

Sure enough, Shen Yichong looked up and saw Little Sweetheart took a whole big banana from someone’s hand with a smile. She seemed to have never seen such a big banana before. After smelling it under her nose, she smiled. Then, she directly gave a whole set of painting tools to the other child from her small bag.

When the contents in the backpack were empty, Little Sweetheart sighed regretfully like a little adult. Then, she carefully put all the snacks that she just obtained into her small bag. She looked at the door, and saw that her daddy was not there.  She then touched her belly again and took out the chocolate she just exchanged. After she took a bite of it with a satisfied smile, she took out the small biscuits next and nibbled happily… cookie crumbs plastered all over her mouth.

Her little cheeks were full, and she looked just like a little hamster. It was exactly how Yu Yaoyao used to look when she couldn’t get enough to eat every day!

Shen Yichong was stunned. It was like a lightning bolt out of the blue! His Little Sweetheart… But she was fed so well throughout the day!

“So… our Shen Nuannuan will never be bullied. She is shrewd! Even if the teacher is hungry, her little belly will never be empty!” Yaoyao said unhelpfully.

Yu Yaoyao felt relieved. No matter what would happen in the future, whether she has a husband or not, her Shen Nuannuan will definitely not experience hunger.

Shen Yichong: “…”

His world suddenly collapsed by more than half! Where was the little girl who never eats snacks?!
