Kenneth was the one to pick us up as we arrived. We climbed into the truck and I immediately asked how my dad was doing… and Kenneth shook his head saying “It was touch and go all night. He is stable but critical” and I sighed..”Why didn’t you call me about the rogues? I could have possibly prevented this”

Renata sat up and said “We had this discussion last night! You don’t get to play the blame game! What’s happened….happened. And it’s lead us to here. Now… I would like to see your dad!” Kenneth raised an eyebrow at me and I smirked “Yep! That’s my mate!” And our guys chuckled.

Kenneth and I caught up with the rogue situation…Apparently, both Kenneth and Matt believe Dad had been singled out and isolated..indicating he was the target.. I was trying to pay attention to Kenneth, but I kept hearing snippets of an argument in the back seat better Renata and Brian

We reached the hospital, I took Renata’s hand and we walked in..Matt was sitting in a seat, with his head in his hands. “What’s going on??” I asked the doctor. “We’ve done everything we can…he’s slipped into a coma and his organs are falling “ she responds. And Renata said “Take me to him” and the doctor said “Immediate family only, Miss “ and I saw a side of my mate I don’t believe anyone has..She snatched the doc’s collar up and snarked “I am immediate family. And Heracles was a big pile of mush!” Matthew burst out laughing and said “well, I will be damned!” “She has a birthmark..exactly like the paw print on Heracles. Same one” I said.. Kenneth joined us outside dad’s window and asked “what’s she doing?” And I shhh’d him..telling him to just watch.. Renata stepped up to the bed..she ran her hands the entire length of dad’s body..hovering over him. Every so often, her hand would slow..and his skin glowed under her hand. She did this a few times..going back to his left thigh several times. Then…she took his oxygen mask off and leaned over whispering something over and over….within 5 minutes a small tornado of black smoke began to rise from my dad’s mouth. Spookiest shit I’ve seen! She stepped to the window and opened it..then just shoo’d the little black tornado out. My dad opened his eyes and looked at her…she smiled and ran over to him and kissed his cheeks…his forehead…all while my dad is looking confused as fuck and looking between her and the door…so we went in

“Dad..meet my mate!” I grinned. He said “your mate? I have another daughter?” and opened his arms to hug her.. and it began to sprinkle rain…sun shining…raining..no warning.. Aaron says “Happy tears! Don’t ask” and we laugh. She looks at me saying “Your father needs to go to surgery right now..there is the tip of a silver knife broken off in his femur. I can’t completely heal him until it’s gone” And I yelled for the doctors!
