I turned to Renata and asked âCan you do that choking on bubbles thing if we need?â She smiled and said âjust say the word!â Brian says âExcellent execution of that throat punch, Luna! Made us proud!â And we all laughed!
Walking in the office, I say âyou will tell me what you know. Both of you⦠Lionel, if I find you have entered this alliance under false pretensesâ¦your pack is forfeit! Start talking or start choking! Lionel kept looking at Renata like she was gonna melt him into the floor. I snapped âSpeak!â He growled â Of course I knew who you are! Why do you think he was sent so far away from your dad?! Robert likes his girls young and he likes to break them.â
I snapped again âThat man is not my father! MY father would never beat me nearly to death and letting his 8 other sons continueâ¦On my 6th birthday! MY father would never do that! Elden is not my father. Not my family! Say it again and I will snap your neck! Why does Elden want my mate?â
Lionel shrugs âWho knows? Heâs crazy as a runover cat! He rants about needing her deadâ¦then he wants to mate and mark her..then he wants to breed her. Like Alicia says..the mark changes everything.â

My gorgeous mate never ceases to amaze me! Even thought of taking a hostage..should we need leverage. But Iâm not sure that said hostage will survive long.. especially if she taunts Renata very much! I stood and did the loyalty blood oath with Lionel..to get it over with.Then I walked Renata to an SUV I had our delta drive over and let him drive Renataâs car backâ¦No way was she driving us all the way to the airport! Thatâs one of those , once in a lifetime experiencesâ¦
I smile down at my little firecracker. I love that people underestimate her..that they see this quiet, unassuming young woman. Until she isnâtâ¦then all hell breaks loose. I asked âWhy do you name the plants..the trees? Is it a fairy thing?â She laughed and said âI donât name them. Goddess No! Could you imagine trying to come up with so many names? Their mother names them. They just tell me when I introduce myselfâ â¦âTheir mother??â I asked. I sat there a few minutes..thinking over what sheâd just saidâ¦Then it was like a light bulb went off..âBaby..whatâs Maggieâs motherâs name?â She smirks âYou know her as Mother Earthâ¦.I call her Alice!â I laughed.. of course, she calls her Alice..why wouldnât she? As we reached the airfield, and got outâ¦I looked around..making sure everyone had arrived. I asked Abraham âwhoâs the guard you have with the girl?â And he replies âHis name is Dan..I believe and The girl has a nameâ¦â â I grinned and retorted âYes..yes..but I struggle to remember if itâs Sluticia or Skankliciaâ¦so I just use girlâ We both laughed! He says âAliciaâ¦you arenât as colorful as Luna!â I laugh again. I am so proud of how much they love her already!
Once weâre settled into our seats, I turned to our group âThe builders assured me all renovations will be done to the campground in just a few days. They plan on taking care of Renataâs house tomorrow. There will be workers clearing debris from the restaurant to begin that restoration. Nowâ¦what do we do with that pink pack house on our new territory?â Aaron says âPaint it! Turn it into a community center of sorts. Open up the first floor⦠make it something our kids and teens would enjoy. Someplace to hold summer dances. Even a skate night!? If our pups are busy..they wonât find trouble!â Renata practically yelled âWhat a great idea! Oh I just love it! Can I be in charge? I would arrange theme nights.. like 50s sockhop skate..or Midsummer nights dream dance. I can get our teen girls involved in the planning. Oh! We could have a masquerade ballâ¦and a costume ball! And prizes! We could have prizes for the best costume! It can be an annual thing⦠something our pups can look forward to! Like a prom for us!!! What fun! I grin âI kind of like when she goesâ¦wherever it is her mind takes her! She thinks so fast..itâs hard to keep up..but itâs fun!â And we laugh again!
