Chapter 61 Damian approached Livia.
The girl was still gaping in disbelief that the one walking closer was really Damian. But to see who was standing behind him, she was sure this was indeed Mr. Damian.
âI just came here to see my wife.â Damian put his arm around Liviaâs shoulder, then kissed Liviaâs left cheek.
The room is noisy. Even Livia jumped.
âBa-Baby .... â Livia stammered. Whatâs the matter with him? Why is he throwing lethal nukes right now?
Beloved wife?â Livia was almost bursting out laughing.
The corners of Liviaâs eyes wandered around. It seemed that now her extended family saw her in a different light. Amazed, proud, also sorry.
You must be sorry for ignoring me?â She thought.
âWhatâs this?â Damian pulled on the apron that Livia was wearing. âYou came just to be a servant here?â Damian was glancing at everyone. Then, finally, his eyes stopped on the stepmother.
The woman was already pale.
âDid you tell my wife to wear this?!â What had been a fun and laughable dinner suddenly turned tense.
Damian untied the apron around Liviaâs waist, then pulled it. Then, he threw it on the floor, right in front of the stepmom.
âBrown, take note of anyone who dares to ask my wife to serve.â Wait, what does he want to do? Does he want revenge? âOkay.
Young master,â
Assistant Brown just answers such strange orders. âBaby.â Livia put her arm around Damianâs waist affectionately. âDamn it! I have to do something embarrassing to soften his anger first.â
Everyone who saw was surprised by Liviaâs call to Damian. They were getting shrunken.
âI only help the children,â Livia said slowly, pointing to the children.
The children were not afraid, but instead, they seemed to be enchanted by its charm of Damian.
âBrown, take note of their parentâs names. How dare they make my wife a nanny for the children.â
âOkay. Young master.â
Livia looked at Assistant Brown furiously, the same time begging him to stop his madness of Damian. âDo not obey him. Please!â
âUnfortunately, itâs not like that. I was playing with the children. Itâs because they eat so badly that I wear an apron.â
âPlease believe as usual. Please be stupid just this once.â Livia bit her lips.
âYoung master, the young ladyâs family knows that the young lady is your wife now. So thereâs no way they would have the guts to treat the lady unkindly.â Brown finally helped her to speak.
âYou didnât call the lady to be the maid, didnât you?â Brown turned to look at the stepmother. The motherâs face was pale.
âNo. No, Sir, I did not.â She stammered in reply, her hands shaking.
âBaby ....â Livia knows Assistant Brownâs words contain a deadly threat. So she has to end this, âDo you want to eat something?â
Damian smiled at Liviaâs offer. He looked at the people around him, and they were still frozen, watching them with mixed feelings, prone to fear.
âWhat did you see? Continue to eat yours.â Damian said casually.
âOâOkay, Sir.â
Then they disbanded and returned to eating. What used to be noisy and whispering, now the atmosphere is tense. Nevertheless, they continued to eat, although they were not very appetizing now.
âSave me, Assistant Brown!â Livia pleaded through her eyes.
âYoung master, I will set the table in another room.â Assistant Brown is the mind reader who comes in handy intense situations.
âHmm.â
Damian pulled Liviaâs hand to follow him. They sat in the empty living room.
âStupid!â He pointed at Liviaâs forehead.
âWhat?â she quietly answered.
âKeep your head down only to me!â He pointed at Liviaâs forehead again. âUse my name to silence their mouths.â
Iâm okay. They are my family.â
âFamily? Pfft.....â Damian laughed to herself.
Then, a soft kiss fell on Liviaâs cheek, making the girl jump.
Luckily, she didnât push Damianâs body. If she did it out of reflex, then she was game over.
âAre you glad I came?â
âYes, Baby.â
âThis time Iâm really happy to see you. You came like a godâs help to me.â Livia smiled sincerely.
âThank me properly.â He rubbed Liviaâs lips with his fingers, then crushed those lips. He paused his attack for a while. âBreath, idiot!â
Liviaâs gasped, and the next attack was relaunched.
At the end of the room, Assistant Brown looked away.
