Thor grabbed hold of the entity and threw him towards the windows, where the team watched as it came to stop. It levitated and stared at its reflection, the city's lights fading into the background. The night sky allowed the entity to see its blue irises that were stark against the whites of its eyes. An amber gem sat in the middle of its forehead, its skin matte with a cherry red. Its figure was broad and toned with a grey pattern layering in the formation of a suit over its body.
Everyone moved from the lab and into the living room, where the entity lowered down to stand on the tiled floor. They were cautious but could see the human in the prosthetic form. It wasn't like Ultron. It had flesh and warmth. Sue, who put away the feud she had with Steve, Johnny and the Maximoff twins for the time being, stood with a large gap between her and Pietro.
'I'm sorry, that was...odd,' JARVIS's voice flowed out of the entity who looked to Thor. 'Thank you.'
'Thor, you helped create this?' Steve gestured to the being who looked around at each of them. Its eyes raked over Thor's red cape that cascaded down his back. The red form shrugged its shoulders and an identical cape materialised as if from thin air.
'I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its centre, is that,' Thor pointed to the amber gem in the middle of the entity's head.
'What, the gem?'
'It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones. The greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities.'
'Oh, it's definitely the end times...'
'The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron,' Thor stated, and Johnny let out a scoff.
'Have some faith in us, Zeus.'
'You can't defeat him alone,' the entity spoke again.
'Why does your 'vision' sound like JARVIS?' Steve questioned.
'We... reconfigured JARVIS' matrix to create something new,' Tony shoved his hands into his pockets, still in awe at the thing he had created.
'You think I'm a child of Ultron? I'm not Ultron. I'm not JARVIS. I am... I am.'
'I looked in your head and saw annihilation,' Wanda's accent broke through the conversation.
'Look again.'
'Yeah,' Sue let out a laugh as she crossed her arms. 'Her seal of approval means nothing to me.'
'Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone, and they're nothing compared to what it can unleash,' Thor walked as he spoke before he stopped to look back at what he would call his 'vision'. 'But with it on our side...'
'Is it?-'
'Are you?' Sue cut Steve off. Calling 'vision' it didn't sit right with her.
'Are you on our side?' she continued. Vision's eyes settled on her and the unease she once felt from when he was in the capsule, was gone.
'I don't think it's that simple.'
'Well, it better get real simple, real soon,' Johnny joined, making sure to cross his arms to appear intimidating.
'I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't, he will end it all,' Vision explained. 'He's waiting for you.'
'Where?' Bruce asked.
'Sokovia. He's got Nat there, too,' Clint said. Before the commotion occurred in the lab, he was able to pinpoint Natasha's location. The agent sent a morse code message, knowing that someone would be listening. Clint was relieved to know she was alive, but her location uneased him. Sokovia hadn't made the best impression to the Avengers.
'If we're wrong about you,' Bruce drew the attention of the room with his dull tone. 'If you're the monster that Ultron made you to be...'
'What will you do?' Vision looked around at the Avengers. 'I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the Earth, so he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So, there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go.'
Vision held up Thor's hammer to its owner as if handing a tool to a handyman. The Avengers stared in shock and the Asgardian took it slowly from his equal. Vision walked away, unaware of the shock that hung over the room, and Thor's mouth opened and closed at the lack of words to say. Whatever Tony created; it was worthy.
Thor clapped the Stark on the shoulder with a small 'well done'. Steve addressed the group with a short instruction to suit up to leave in three minutes. This set the team to head off to their respected rooms and floors of the tower to prepare. While Tony uploaded FRIDAY, his new AI to power his suits and devices, Sue and Johnny bumped into each other on their way to their rooms.
While Sue went to grab the door handle to her bedroom, Johnny appeared next to her. His suit was clad with its navy-blue sheen and black leather gloves that matched his shoes. The blonde hair that sat curly on top of his head was in need of being slicked back, the style that he was accustomed to. The press focused heavily on the fact that he went by his birthname 'Johnny', and not John, the more sophisticated of the two. With the rumour of him the immature one out of the Storm siblings, Johnny was trying to aid his image to be more heroic and admirable. However, the name 'Johnny' would be staying, as he said that it did well with the ladies. Or does well with Pepper, to be more specific.
'Sue,' he called before the woman could head into her bedroom. 'Can we talk for a sec?'
'We're suiting up. Can't keep the old man waiting,' Sue snickered at her allusion to Steve.
'We're already suited,' Johnny gestured to their matching suits. 'Look, I wanted to say I'm sorry for attacking you in the lab. Steve and I know what Tony's like, and we just thought that...'
'He'd make another murder bot?'
'Exactly.'
'You and Steve seem pretty close now, huh?' Sue leaned against her door.
'He's a cool guy,' Johnny shrugged. 'His war stories are insane. I think he counts me as a friend.'
'I do count you as a friend, Storm.'
Johnny and Sue turned their attention to the end of the hallway, where Steve turned the corner. He stopped in front of the siblings with half a smile on his face and looked down at Sue. The two hadn't spoken since the incident in Africa, where Steve's newly founded regret of harming his teammates was born. The bruise was yet to fade from Sue's face, and the guilt continued to eat the man alive from its yellow and purple ferocity.
'I also came to apologise,' Steve started, his smile straining into a look of solemn. 'I've struggled with facing you ever since I knocked you out. I'm sure you can understand that-'
'I do, cap,' Sue stopped him and offered a friendly smile. 'I'm not holding it against you. You pack a mean punch, though.'
'So do you.'
Sue and Steve accepted a truce and Johnny swung his arm over the man's shoulder. Steve didn't budge from the addition of Johnny's weight on top of his own and Sue noticed how wide her brother's grin was.
'Right, let's kick some Ultron ass.'

Sue finally found out what the button on the collar of her suit did. While everyone who couldn't fly boarded the quinjet to Sokovia, Johnny asked Sue if she wanted to ride with him for once. Her eyebrows pinched together, and she questioned if it was a joke, to which Johnny ignited into his flames and used the tip of his finger to press the button on her suit. She shrieked as a helmet enclosed over her head and a screen replaced her vision. Like a diving mask, her face was visible through glass and her hair was hidden by the red material that made up the rest of her suit. Oxygen could be inhaled and carbon dioxide exhaled, FRIDAY informing her that its material filtered air through to the mask that covered her face.
'FRIDAY!' Sue cheered at the sound of the new AI's voice. 'I can talk to you through this?'
'Yes, ma'am,' FRIDAY sounded into her ears. 'Mr Stark thought it would be best for you to have full communication with him and myself.'
'Your suit's fireproof,' Tony followed from his suit, Sue grinning at the sound of his voice. 'Thought it was time you flew with the big boys.'
'Alterations courtesy of Stark Industries,' Johnny announced, Tony shooting into the sky behind him and heading to their destination.
'The end times, indeed,' Sue mumbled in reference to Bruce's comment when Vision was born. She got onto Johnny's back and his heat that would usually incinerate her, was a bearable warmth that her suit did well to maintain.
Tony, Johnny (with Sue on his back), and Vision headed to Sokovia with the rest of the team following in the quinjet. The Maximoff twins had formed an alliance with the Avengers, as Ultron's true goal was seen by Wanda from her abilities. Some of the team weren't happy about their addition to the group, but they couldn't deny that their powers would be an asset to the mission. They could put aside their differences if it meant saving innocent people. But Sue was sure that her unease with their presence was mirrored in Clint, Bruce and Tony.
'The big guy's in the church,' Tony informed through everyone's earpieces and Sue's new mask. 'Get everyone out the city. I'm sure he's got his girl scouts set up everywhere.'
'Be careful!' Sue said as Johnny landed in the centre of Sokovia. The quinjet arrived on the outskirts and the team headed in to begin the evacuation. Wanda was able to use the mind control aspect of her powers to alert most of the residents to leave their homes. Pietro ran to every police station and army base to gather weapons and men for the inevitable battle. Bruce got Natasha's location from Clint and headed into the city to find the bunker where she was hidden. Steve used his leadership to guide groups of civilians towards the edges of the city, but it would be futile, as the Earth began to shake from beneath them.
'What is that?!' Johnny called into his earpiece. Him and Sue were far from the edges of the city as they were making sure no one was left inside buildings. They didn't see the city break from the mountains around it, and the rest of the team were in shock from the large crevice that grew with every vibration. The crack widened before the city was lifted, ascending from the power of the vibranium core that Ultron had installed.
