Chapter 35: Chapter 32 : Have Lost It Shine!

In Search of Him!Words: 22665

"You're here! Come in, come in!!" Galang said enthusiasticaly to Aura.

Aura walked in to the small store, carefully watch out for any wires that might cause her to trip and fall. She followed Galang to the back of his store.

"Have you already repair the watch?"

Galang grinned, "Of course I have! Repairing is my speciality!"

They reached to a lone door and Galang reached for the knob. Before he turned the knob, he turned to Aura.

"Wait here. I'll get the watch."

Aura frowned but obeyed nonetheless. She waited outside as Galang entered the room. Actually, she could take a peek of what's inside, but something's telling her not to and that's just making her whole body shuddered in something she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

She snapped out of it when she heard the door clicked behind her as Galang walked to her. In his hands was the repaired power watch, slightly better than previously. The screen was black, no Boboiboy's logo displayed on the screen. It was put inside a glass box.

"Your order~ Everything in total is 9 billion and 800 million!" Galang exclaimed as he gave the watch to Aura's awaiting palm.

Aura inspected the watch on her palm closely before looking up at Galang in the eyes.

"What about the report?"

Galang grinned, "No need to worry, I have the report ready in my hands! But first, give Ronien the watch and tell him to call me."

At that, Aura raised an eyebrow, "Money is not on the first place? That's rare."

Like a switch, Galang's face changed to a serious expression. His previous enthusiastic and playful expression all gone in an instant like it never exist from the start.

"I have both bad news and good news to him. For the good news, it's already obvious in front of you. The watch is fix. And for the bad news, he should know it firsthand."

Aura frowned as she stared at Galang. How bad is it for Galang to be this serious? For her boss to know directly? She stared down at the watch on her palm.

Now that she realized it, the watch looked so empty, so dull. It's really different from when that elemental hero wore it. Something's change, but she didn't know what it was. She thought.. the watch seemed like it had lost it shine. She gripped it tightly and looked up to Galang.

"I understand. I will tell Boss to call you directly for the report. We also already transfered 10 billion to your account yesterday." She nodded.

Galang visibly pouted at that and whined, "Wha?! So you lied to me?! That's rude! You made me did all the works, saying that I must fix that useless junk before I get the money."

Aura chuckled, "Well, if I didn't say that, I knew that you wouldn't repair the watch properly."

And then, her eyes widened as she finally processed Galang's words, "Wait! What do you mean by–"

"Chop! Chop! More question, more information, then extra payment~" Galang quickly pushed her out of the back store and his store.

Aura could only let herself get pushed away despite the curiousity she have in the moment. She stumbled on her steps when she reached outside. As she balanced herself, she heard the door slammed shut behind her loudly. Glancing back, she could only sighed at herself.

"What did he mean?" She mumbled while looking down at the watch laying innocently on her palm.

Fingers thrummed calmly on the table's surface. The tap tap tap sounds echoed through the room as a figure sat silently on his chair. Although the sounds were simple or something ordinary that we always heard everytime we feel bored, the sounds were somehow felt different to the people residing in the room, except for that figure himself. It sent a nervousness that turned into a shiver which was crawling onto their spine.

Eyes as dark as an endless void stared down at the watch that still placed inside the glass case. A few minutes ago, Aura had come back from Galang's store, holding the thing he'd waiting for. The excitement because his second step of the plan finally complete and all he have to do is continuing to the third phrase.

However, it all died down when he wasn't given any reports. Instead, the report he'd wait since yesterday had turned into two part, good or bad news, and he has to hear it directly from Galang himself. That literally had his mood going down to a dangerously negative state, not zero.

Now, he's contemplating whether to call him right now or later. If now, then which one shall he choose? Good or bad news? And if he choosed later, it will cost his time.

He scowled. Damn everything! Everything's never going well at all for him! The universe must be holding a grudge against him. He did destroyed so my planets before, but those annoying people started first! So annoying!

"Boss, I think you have to call Galang whether you're ready or not." Jack advised from beside him.

Ronien stared silently at his right hand man from the corner of his eyes before sneering in annoyance. His finger quickly pressed a button to call the said young man that had been on his mind since minutes ago.

Instantly, Galang's hologram appeared in front of his desk. The young man quickly greet Ronien with his business smile, just like Bago Go.

"Ha! I know that you will call me sooner or later!" Galang winked.

Then, he walked near Ronien's desk, "Wah! It's been a long time since we last met! How are you, big boss?"

Ronien scowled, "Long time?! I met you a few days ago to buy that Subversor Machine and the Amanthanite energy from you! What long time?!"

"Wuish, patient, bro.. patient! Hehe, it's not good to get angry everyday. You'll get wrinkle." Galang giggled at him.

Ronien leaned back to his chair as he took a calming breathe, "So, what are your reports?"

"Straight to the point as always I see~ Which one you want to hear first? Bad or good?" Galang hummed as he walked away from Ronien.

"The bad news.. how bad is it?" Ronien asked.

Galang waved his hand, "Nahh, it's not that bad."

"Somehow, it sounds that bad to me." Jack bent down and whispered to Ronien while the latter only gave an affirmative grunt at him.

Galang ignored them. And if he heard what were they talking about then he would choose to ignore them. Instead, he stared expectantly at Ronien.

"Let's hear the bad news first." Ronien finally decided after contemplating over his decision.

The young worker grinned widely at him. Pearly white teeth glinted visibly, the same as his eyes despite he was only a hologram at the moment. He straightened his back and the hologram of the various part of the power watch appeared all around him.

"Power watch, a special type of watch that can give power to their user. However, this power watch is very rare to be found. Every power watch can only contain one power to be given to anyone. But, our elemental hero is quite a special and unique case~" Galang drawled out his last word in a sing song tone.

Ronien frowned, "Unique case? How come?"

"As you know, this watch–" Galang pointed to the watch that sat on Ronien's desk, "–contained seven powers."

"That's cheat." Galail chewed on his bar of chocolate bar. He actually had been in the room since earlier, together with Hikari, but he choosed to speak just now.

"Blergh! Typical main character's cheat! So unfair!" Hikari sneered.

Galang shrugged, "I know. But, this seven powers coincidently have a similarity. Lightning, earth, wind, fire, water, nature, and light. The main seven elements that construct and become the fundamental of our universe. That's why everyone, even the holder himself, called it the Elemental Power."

After hearing all of that, everyone seemed to be in deep thought. What is this? Such a powerful power was held by a useless and weak brat?! How ridiculous! But then, something clicked in one of them.

Jack looked at Galang intently, "Wait, did you say 'contained'? As if in past form? Why is it?"

Three pair of eyes turned to look at him, waiting for his answer too. Jack was really sharp at noticing thing they couldn't. He had always been sharp when they first met him. His sharp and clever mind have created so many strategies to help them until they reach this far.

"As expected from your right hand man, Big Boss! So quick to notice!" Galang clapped his hands once in delight before his face changed to a dead serious expresion.

"What I meant is the watch.." He paused.

And when he continued the last word, everyone felt their heart stopped and plummeted to the ground in great anger. The dissapointment and the great fury in the room were really strong that they could see it with naked eyes and taste it in their mouth. Their hard work.. was in vain after all of that?!

"It's empty. Powerless."

"Dad, no!"

"Boboiboy, watch out!"

A young teenager slowly opened his eyes. Dull brown hazel eyes stared blankly at the ceiling in dazed. Brain faintly recalling that he was still strapped in a metal bed and in a familiar white room.

He groaned, head thumping and closed his eyes to lessen the pain. He raised his hands, but was held down by the metal strap that locked tightly around his wrists.

"What.. what was that...?" He whispered breathelessly.

A memory? But what it was about and when did it happen? It was all blury and.. wait– What was he dreamt about earlier? He didn't remember..

With eyes squinting, he raised his head and looked around only to find himself still in the same room. How long he was here? He'd lost track of time that even he couldn't know from the window alone.

It seemed that he were on some sort of planet he had visited before. Junkberg, his mind helped him to recalled it. He frowned heavily. What are they doing in here? What did he missed while he was unconcious?! Just... what are they gonna do to him.. his power watch... his family..

Seconds later, his eyes widened. The cold air from the Air Conditioner blew softly to his wrist– his empty wrist. He couldn't feel the familiar weight that he already accustomed with on his wrist.

His power watch! Where is it?!

He swiftly turned to his right wrist in panic. His pupil shook as despair and anxiety swept over him in a rush. His whole entire chest burning and his eyes burnt like a bucket of lava was thrown on it. No nononono—

Then, he realized he threw his watch to the river and they had found it, and also they tried to repair it.

He stopped. A little bit embarassed because of his forgetfulness, but other than that, he also realized how dangerous the situation had become. No one should be able to fix his watch other than Ochobot and Solar. Even though, he was the user, he couldn't fix it and thus, always asked for one of them to fix it.

Ochobot. His best friends. He wondered what are they doing right now? He really hoped that nothing happen to them when he was being captured. Considering they were on a mission when the attack occurred, his brain assured him that they didn't get involved in the attack.

Nonetheless, he already did his best to make those bad people busy repairing his watch before they could commit whatever their plan is.

From afar, his ears caught the sound of light and swift footsteps outside. It's faint, but loud somehow to his ears. The door slide opened and he immediately snapped his head to its direction.

Familiar woman with long black hair that tied into a ponytail entered his vision. He gritted his teeth, trying to make himself look hostile at her. Aura only huffed a mocking laugh at him.

"What? Are you trying to intimidate me or something?" She mocked.

Boboiboy bared his teeth, "Let me go!"

Aura walked in calmly and sat at her desk, "Nuh-uh can't do. Although you're powerless currently, you're still gonna break out from this spaceship with your brain and I can't let that happen."

The watch..

He asked, "Where is my power watch?! What did you do?!"

"Oh, nothing." She shrugged her shoulders while opening some files on her desk, "I just fix it."

That statement got Boboiboy's eyes to widened in shock. His heart dropped at the statement.

"You.. you know how to fix it?!" He asked in disbelief.

Aura laughed, "Me? No! It was our comrade who fix it. I must say that thing was tough to fix. We even spent 10 billion only to fix a mere watch. It's fortunate he could fix that watch."

Fix it. They fixed it?! That's not possible! Boboiboy was sure no one could understand the feature. Even Nut himself had a hard time understanding the feature. On the other hand, his friends's power watch are easy to understand considering their used the common feature.

Ochobot only waved it off, saying that maybe because his Elemental Power is just too powerful, that's why the watch has the special feature for it.

His face must be looked ridiculous right now because his ears caught chuckling sound from the other occupant in the room. So, he shifted his attention back to Aura.

"What? Surprised? You heroes are always expecting for your trump card to be undefeatable to us. Regard it highly as if that trump card was some sort of salvation to your misery from us." Aura snarled.

Boboiboy could only stared at her burning ocean blue eyes that hidden beneath her glasses.

"..What.. what exactly are you all aiming for...?" He asked quietly.

His question caused Aura to taken aback because of how sudden the question is. While Boboiboy stared at her straight in the eyes, lips set firmly in a thin line. Since the start, he was curious about their goal.

Why would they do all of this? Set an attack at Tempur-A station when there was Admiral Tarung and Captain Kaizo only to kidnapped him? To retrieved his power watch? What for?

However, silence was only his answer. Aura looked down so her black bang covered half of her glasses that reflected the light.

"..eace..."

"Huh..?"

"..Nevermind, It's nothing." She gritted out.

And then, there were sharp and heavy footsteps echoing from the outside. Both pair of eyes turned to the slide door as the slide door opened and Hikari walked in. From her expression alone, they could tell that she was furious. Absolutely furious.

Aura quickly stood up, "Sis?!"

No answer. Hikari only made her way to the hopeless Boboiboy who was still strapped on the metal bed. She hastily opened all the straps that tied our hero to the metal bed. The iron gave a loud click, indicating that Boboiboy is free.

However, before he could processed what is happening, he found out that both his wrists tied to each other with metal handcuff. He yelped when Hikari suddenly dragged him using the colar of his vest which she gripped tightly. Boboiboy struggled, trashed around in her hold and glaring dagger ar her.

"Urgh! Le–let me go!" He shouted.

Hikari snapped, "Shut up!"

Aura stumbled behind them, looking so confused with the entire situation, "Sis?! What's wrong?! Is something happening to the watch?"

"Just come with me, Aura." Was Hikari's only answer.

Aura became silent and choosed to follow her silently like a lost puppy. It was really rare for Hikari to lose her temper.

In all her entire life she knew about Hikari, Hikari was always confident with what she believed, strong to face on every obstacles, sly and manipulative to her opponents. The real embodiment of walking disaster now that she was on the fallen side.

The three of them walked through the dark hallway, letting their shoes made various squeaking sound on the floor. Finally, they reached to a slide door after they make a turn.

The slide door opened and Hikari, as if she held a huge resentment to him which is true, wasted no time to toss Boboiboy across the room. The back of his head and his back hit the floor with a loud thud and for seconds, Boboiboy couldn't see as black spots dancing in his vision accompanied with the extreme dizziness.

"Agh!" He grunted at the pain, closed his eyes and curled to his side.

Not long, he could feel someone digging their shoes to his side and pressed. He screamed cause it felt like his ribs– his entire insides– were mashed up.

The searing pain traveled through his brain nerves, sending a shockwave pain to his entire being. It was really similar to the time when Gempa was sucked out of him by Tok Kasa. The pain of getting someone so close to him ripped off just like that from him.

"Hikari, that's enough." A cold voice interfered not far from him.

To Boboiboy's relief, Hikari lifted her foot and the pressure was gone. He faintly heard Hikari cursed as she walked away from him. Really, what did he do to make that mad woman furious at him?

Then, someone grabbed his hair– Wait, where's his hat? Maybe it was thrown when he was tossed accross the room– and yanked his head. Ronien stared at him while snarling and Boboiboy leveled with a glared at him although panting.

"The power watch... why is it powerless?!" Ronien snarled lowly in front of his face.

Aura took a sharp inhale from afar. Upon hearing the question, Boboiboy was confused. What did he mean by powerless?

His mind wandered through every possible answer when its stumbled to an event with Retak'ka. Unconciously, his expression hardened and his lips pursed into a tight line. No, no, he was already defeated. Actually, Solar and Halilintar kept saying that he was dead, floating aimlessly in the space to who knows where and will never be back to them.

Seeing such expression on the elemental hero's face, Ronien thought that Boboiboy knew the answer but unwilling to answer him. Thus, his gripped to the hair in his hand tightened, yanked harder and Boboiboy winced harshly.

Ronien leant down and barked, "Answer me!"

"..I don't know..." Boboiboy spat out. True though, he didn't know the answer. And if he know, he still won't answer him.

Hearing the answer, Ronien growled in anger. He stood up, letting go of Boboiboy's hair which tangled up into a mess because of his rough treatment and stepped on his back hardly.

"Liar! You know why?!" Ronien shouted in accusation.

Boboiboy groaned at the pain on his back, but still bit out through the pain, "I-I won't.. answer you.."

Everyone in the room watched as their boss looked down at the hero lying helplessly under his leg in pure anger. It wasn't new for them to witness their boss did violence in front of them. Instead of fear, ignorance was the only thing that surged thorough their mind as if they weren't just witnessing a beat up scene.

Ronien growled loudly and gave a powerful kick to Boboiboy's stomach. The teen let out a sharp gasp and doubled over in pain.

"Where's that power?! The elemental power!"

"...n't te–..tell you.." Boboiboy hissed with his broken voice due to the pain.

Galail narrowed his eyes, "It's pointless even if we do it the hard way."

Ronien glanced at him from the corner of his eyes before straightened his back and looking down at curled up hero under him. He clicked his tongue and turned to look at Galang who was chilling on his desk.

"What's the good news?" He asked, a little pissed that Galang sat on his desk.

Galang looked up and hummed questioningly at him. And before Ronien felt that he would lose his temper in a few seconds, Galang lit up in realization.

"Ooh yes! Did I tell you that his power watch could absorb elements energy around you?"

Now that's caught everyone attention, even Boboiboy. He looked up fearfully at them all, seeing a face full of surprised. But, he focused his full attention toward Hikari.

The said woman had a crazed and wild look at her face. Her previous indignant expression was gone completely as if it was never there.

Boboiboy quietly prayed in his heart.

'Guys.. wherever you are... please.. please be safe..' Was his last thought before he succumbed to the darkness again.

Gempa, who was laying on his back in the elementals room provided by the Laskar agents, suddenly put his palm over his chest. His face scrunched up in a frown when his heart suddenly beat faster with no reason.

He sat up slowly and looked around him with confusion. The others were going somewhere together with Maskmana given that they just found the lead about that vilain group.

The earth elemental looked down to both of his hands and curled it to fists. There was a silence until his heart's beat faster again and he gasped loudly.

This time, the beat was accompanied with a dull pain. He gripped his brown jacket tightly over his chest as if he tried to grasp his heart which is still beating in his ribcage. His breath became faster and heavier as his golden brown eyes trembled.

His mind was in full of confusion. Did he suddenly have a heart attack? Cancer?

No, that's impossible since he was only an elemental power. He couldn't let anything happen to this heart, the heart given by Boboiboy is something he have to protect and cherished. The prove of life he was given by Boboiboy.

He bit his lower lip and tried to control his breathing and the beat of his heart. It took a long time, but he succeed. However, the pain was replaced by something.

He couldn't put a finger on what it was, but somehow... he felt concerned. He turned his gaze to the space outside the glasses. His mind went into a chaotic state.

How far is Boboiboy right now? Where is he? Is he okay? What are those people currently do to him? Do they tortured him–

His face darkened at the last thought on his mind. His bangs made a shadow over his brown golden eyes, causing it to shone brightly and intimidatingly. Eyes narrowed dangerously into a sharp gaze that made even Halilintar to sweat when Gempa looked at him with that gaze.

He rarely showed this kind of expression to his close one, even the agents never see it directly. Imagining those sinful people torturing his owner while they're here, outside the power watch which make it easier for them to protect him, making him felt like a failure.

Does this kidnapping was a sign that he had broke his promise?

If it does, then all he had to do.. is to fix it. Fix his promise by saving him quickly so he could return to them safely with no harm and he would use his Tanah Pelindung[Earth Barrier] to protect him from the outside world.

Sometimes, the world seemed to forget that his owner was only a human teenager from earth, known as the weakest and the most fragile creatures in the whole galaxy. Goddamnit, even if he always looked so strong in facing everything on his way, didn't mean that he wouldn't crumbled to his knees anytime.

Too deep in spacegazing, the flickering scene from Gempa's power watch went unnoticed by him. On the other side, Boboiboy's power watch also flickered and it didn't caught everyone attention in Ronien's office due to them focusing their entire attention to Galang's explanation.

Such coincidence.
