It's been 4 months since Sidharth and Shehnaz had been dating but it wasn't official yet.

Shehnaz had come to Sidharth to meet him when she overhead a conversation,

It was a conversation between the company which handled Sidharth and Sidharth.

Man- Sidharth you have a contract with us, you can't spoil your brand image by simply dating an unknown writer whose a nobody. Do you even know how will the media and the country react to this news that the country's most eligible bachelor is into a plain looking weird clumsy girl who doesn't even know how to dress-

Shehnaz ran out from there as she couldn't here anything more.

All her life she was that confident girl who didn't care about what the world thought about her or her dressing sense but it felt like as if the world slapped her right on the face. She looked at the mirror and saw her untidy hair with a worn out top and normal jeans with that plain face.

None like those actresses he had ever dated.

He might have an infatuation with her, and he deserves someone smart with him and she was no where there she thought.

She sobbed as she sat in her car and wiped her face ferociously. Since childhood it was her brother who brought her up after their parents died and he always treated her like a princess and the worlds most beautiful girl but she never knew how harsh was the real world because her life was always into the pages of fictions where every girl was beautiful in her own way and got her happy ending, maybe books lied.

She went to her office and directly barged into Mr. Verma's cabin.

Mr V- Shehnaz not- Shehnaz? What happened Beta? Sit?

Shehnaz- Can you do me a favour I would never ask for you anything in my life ever.

Mr. Verma frantically nodded.

Shehnaz- Give me that Africa job, which I declined a month back-

Mr. Verma- But you know this is a 3 month job with no internet connections and it's a documentary how-

Shehnaz- I know please give it to me and please just tell my brother and no one else say that it's a secret documentary! I will be leaving today! See you soon and Thankyou so much!

Mr. Verma- Dil tut gaya na ?

Shehnaz painfully smiled and said, time jod dega.

It had been 3 months, three long months since both of even heard of each other.

Sidharth was going mad, like actual mad. He was loosing his mind when he got to know that she's gone somewhere for work and didn't even tell him anything. He was suddenly out of the media because he didn't wanted to see anyone. Everyone tried to talk to him, but he either hit them or kept mute. A girl he met this year and her absence was making him crazy.

Captain cool had lost his cool because a particular girl who always criticised his game and talked whatever came into her mind.

Meanwhile the other person there 1000 miles away from him was sobbing every night before sleeping. A certain someone who was the most unproblematic guy. When the world was filled with cocky guys he was the most down to earth guy, always laughing on her taunts, caring for her even when she's a grumpy cat. The guy who loved for who she was... but that she didn't know.

Right now she was standing infront of the hall where it was the final compilation of the web series.

She took a deep breath and opened the door while her heart was beating so fast.

As if sensing her he snapped his head that the door and looked her the way a thirsty man looking at water in a desserted place.

Her eyes clashed with his and froze.

He looked like hell, dark circles messy hair and broken heart while she didn't look less.

Shehnaz gulped and sat down while avoiding his hard gaze.

She looked at everyone who was staring at her and said, Guys I think it's a wrap. It was a great experience with all of you. I can't wait for the opening that's just after the India vs Aus match as the last shooting would be there.

I am thankful to all of you for your cooperation, and I am sure it's gonna break all the previous records. I have ordered food so I request all of you to please enjoy yourself.

Suddenly the whole room erupted with cheers, they all happily smiled and one by one shaked  hands with Shehnaz and went out talking.

She saw only 2 people left, and the one she was dreading. She quickly turned her back and was about to sprint when someone harshly grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him.

He looked at the person and that person nodded and closed the door.

Shehnaz avoided the eye contact and was trying to get away from him when he held her chin and made her face him and the moment she saw the look on his face, tears spilled from her eyes.

He was looking at her so lovingly which no one could have ever.

Siddharth - Why?

Shehnaz- Because I don't want too!

Sidharth- If you would have said that to me I would have obliged your wishes. I love you Shehnaz and I would do anything to see you happy.

Shehnaz whispered, then leave me please.

Sidharth smiled at her painfully and grabbed her cheeks and placed a long kiss on it and said, bye.

No words exchanged, no shouting of how much they suffered.

Shehnaz wondered, was the goodbye so easy with her?

The moment he left she broke down on the floor crying loudly.

The door opened and Samad came in.

He sat down on the floor with her while rubbing her back and said, I haven't seen a bigger fool than you! Can't you see how much he loves you?

Shehnaz- He will forget me soon! I- I am not worth him. ( Then she narrated the whole story to samad who was fuming at the brand manager.) All his life he had made her a woman who was always so confident about her skin but now she was breaking down which made him think how cruel are people.

Samad looked at Shehnaz who was combing her hair in the mirror while dressed up in her plain clothes as she liked to call it from now on.

It was the last day of shooting for the web series and it was at the Indian vs Aus match.

The entered the stadium and were ushered to the VIP seats with the celebrities.

Samad was so excited and he looked at his sister and said, Damn I never thought I would have ever experience this!

Shehnaz smiled geninuely for the first time in these 4 months looking at her brother's excitement.

She took a long breath as the teammates started to come.

Now the man all the girls are waiting for is HERE! Sidharth shuklaaaa enters the field with a very big smile on his face. Someone seems happier than what he was all his life.

Another one spoke- ahan are you pointing out on the latest affair between the very famous actress Sarah and Sidharth? Truely a heaven made pair.

Her heart pained hearing all this but seeing his smile it all felt that it was worth it.

It was a very scary match, but India had won finally. During the match Shehnaz was just looking at his expressions. He was so cheerful and so happy, somewhere the selfish side of hers was sad.

The match ended with sidharth's master stroke which made the whole country erupt in cheers and clappings. Shehnaz smiled at his win as her heart filled with pride.

But the strangest part was, no team member was celebrating the win. Usually the would all come running and hug each other but they all stood in a line.

Everyone was confused looking at them.

Even the Australian team was standing still.

Soon Sidharth came forward and looked up at the VIP section and said, I belonged from a very middle class family where my parents used to work so hard to make the ends meet. Before cricket I was just a plain man infront of the world. Even after the success in my mind I remained 'plain' as the world called it.

Until I met someone, she made me feel so special yet so normal. The girl who knows nothing about cricket but still orders food on zomato after our win. The girl who would always taunt me for whatever wrong I did to hug me in my bad days.

She's the most craziest girl I have ever met.

She's the one who would make me throw my umbrella and dance with her in rain, the girl who would take me to library dates rather than some costly restaurant.

The girl who makes me eat aloo puri and then scolded me for my diet at the same time.

The girl loved me for the real Sidharth shukla I am not the captain of the Indian cricket team.

Plain is a label made by people who are actually plain, SHES a woman filled with colours and happiness. The kind of girl you couldn't help but fall in love with.

Her inner beauty is what makes me mad and sane in love.

Shehnaz Kaur gill, I am in fucking in love with you. Tere liye Main Duniya chhord sakta hun aur tere liye Main Kerele ki sabzi bhi Kha sakta Hun! Your my life and I have never ever taken a better decision until now.

Sidharth sits on his knees and holds the mic closely and says, PIYAAA TU AAB TOH AJAAA SHOLA SAWAAAN AAKE BUJAJA! TAN KI JWALA THANDI KARDE AISE GALE LAGAJA!

Shehnaz was a sobbing mess and the moment he sang the song she laughed while everyone was so surprised to hear the reserved captain singing like this.

Everyone started chanting, SHEHNAZ SHEHNAZ SHEHNAZ SHEHNAZ!

Samad held her arms and said, Shehnaz this is your happily ever after which you used to write in your wattpad stories! GO!

Shehnaz didn't need to be told twice, She ran fast down crying continuesly.

She ran to the field where he was sitting on the ground and hugged him tightly.

He hugged her back and then suddenly the team members started to remove their shirts.

Shehnaz looked at them shocked, and they quickly arranged themselves and the moment she read what was written on this her heart stopped.

It was pin drop silence in the whole field.

MARRY ME SHEHNAZ  was wrriten on their undershirts. Even the Australians were wearing those.

The whole crowd started to shout SAY YES SAY YES SAY YES!!!!!

Bhajji shouted, BHABHI KARDO HAAAN!

Shehnaz looked back at Sidharth who was holding a big diamond in his hands.

Shehnaz- I will still never learn cricket, and I will still annoy you, I will still make you dance in rain and I will hit you when you eat my food.

Sidharth laughed and said that's why I love you Shehnaz!

Shehnaz- YES! A thousand times YES!

The whole stadium erupted in cheers while Sidharth made her wear the ring and held Shehnaz and twirled her around as she giggled loudly.

Sidharth- I could have never completed a web series on life story without a happy ending with you.

Her tears fell and she slowly said, How did you know?

He smiled and said, That doesn't matter and all it does it that I am gonna do something after which you would kill me but I don't care!

Before she could even ask him he crashed his lips on hers while everyone cheered loudly for the couple.

Samad had tears in his eyes and so did the boys of the cricket team who loved both of them so much.

Who knew a Netflix original would change their life?
