5 years later
Sid's mom was looking at the people pushing each other outside a huge hall.
Meeti smiled looking at people literally fighting to go inside and said- she really is the deal.
Sid's mom smiled and said- Sana is so talented. I am so glad we let her go to Russ ( Russia) to be what she is now.
Meeti nodded her head and said- Let's go inside.
The hall was stuffed with people dying to hear the voice of the music goddess, yes that was Sana now. But she always kept a veil covering her face, she didn't wanted the world to see her face, but the family knew.
Sid's mom and Meeti sat in the VIP area and the lights closed,
Boom- a flashlight was on a woman sitting dressed up in red.
Booom! Red coloured blood splattered somewhere in the dusky ground as sid held one of the soldiers on his back.
Sid- Hold in, just for few more minutes please. Please.
Sid was trying not to cry and bravely tried to shoot any enemy on their way.
He ran to their base camp and kept the little boy on the stretcher who was cladded in the army uniform covered in blood.
The boy with his soft innocent eyes looked at sid and said, young master.. c-can you give me a candy- I am not-not sure if they have one in heaven.
Sid burst out crying and held the 12 year old boy in his arms and said- Nothing will happen to you, we are getting you the doctors any moment.
The boy grinned with blood over his face and said- I- I always will have the regret of no-not meeting Ms, young master I promised to go with you to see her, is-is she this pretty like in the painting you made of her?
The little boy shakily pointed at the canvas which had sana smiling looking down.
Sid wiped his tears and nodded, very pretty he whispered. But you will come with me, here your candy.
Sid puts candy in his mouth and the boy says- You-young master Thankyou for taking care of me, I never had a family.. and F-for these years I felt I h-had on-one. Mayb-e in-in the next li-fe I'll see you get married- I -
Asim and Ray came in with the army doctor and shouted- He's here.
Sid stared at the boy frozen who paused, as if the the life was sucked out of him.
His innocent pearly eyes which used to shine too much, always giggling, helping the older boys, washing their clothes for some candy and was so loving to to everyone was now quiet.
Sid covered his face and cried out loud while Asim and ray couldn't stop their tears.
The crowd couldn't stop clapping, everyone was jumping up and down after the music godesss had played.
Two men saw the goddess going backstage and smirked to each other.
They sneakily got inside the makeup room and saw the woman still in the veil.
The men chuckled and said- It's time for you to show your face, goddess. A little fun for money won't hurt would it?
The woman froze, one of the man took this opportunity to put his hand on her shoulder but within a second she grabbed his wrist and twisted it so hard that the man fell down wincing, the other man got pissed and was about to pull her veil when she turned and kicked him hard on his groin.
Hearing the commotion the two gaurd came in running and saw the men on the floor, Sana directed them through her hand, they nodded and took them away.
Sana removed her veil and sighed- god I need to practice more. My knuckles did hurt a little.
Just then Sid's mom came in and said- Woah! You look so beautiful Sana, why don't you ever show your face to the world?
Sana smiled and said- Some faces are meant to be hidden from the world. If they all see my face wouldn't they all want to marry me?
The woman chuckled loudly at the beautiful woman infront of her grinning with her chocolate brown hair flowing, her glittered eyes shinning and her puckered lips smiling.
Sid's mom- Oh shit, I have so much to prepare.. Young master is coming finally home. The whole city needs to light up, every house and our house should look the best.
Young master, Sana gulped. It's been long since she had heard this name.
There was this weird feeling in her stomach which she tried to ignore.
The women behind her where already discussing everything, while Sana removed her broach and thought about particularly someone.
Two big stars where now being attached to Sid's shoulders as he stood straight and saluted the main general.
The man patted his back and said- You have passed the training with flying colours my son, and I am so proud that your father is my dear friend. I give you the position of the second in command after your father, May Hindustan shine even brighter under your control.!
The gun shots were fired for the ceremony as Sid proudly smiled and looked up in the air with the similar blue skies calling him back home.
I tried to call you so many times Ms! The boy frustratedly said.
Sana looked at the boy and said- If you weren't my clay workshop teacher I would have already threw clay on you Vir.
Vir smiled and said- What are you reading again?
Sana- My favourite poet, see this poem this one talks about the pain-
Vir- Anyways.
Sana glared at him and said- You just did not cut me while I was speaking.
Vir chuckled and said- Where is the Ms who used to be so quiet and didn't spoke much words?
Sana shrug her shoulders and said- I grew up.
We grew up young master!
Asim said with a smile.
Sid smiled along with Ray and nodded.
Sid- We were so notorious back then-
Ray- Please young master, we still are. People don't know that behind these army uniforms we are still the same- didn't you last week hit a man on his bald head and screamed- Ouch it's so hot?
Asim and Sid burst out laughing to that one.
Sid- Because it was hot, it felt like a utensil where we cook rotis.
Asim- Aah, the rotis remind me of home. Finally we will be home tomorrow, are you looking forward for anything master?
Asim smirked as Sid's heart beat a little faster with the word home.
Ray- If we are talking about Ms, then it's um a no no. Don't you remember Ms hating the young master?
Asim- So don't you remember her giving the letter?
Ray- It was just two words, it's something every decent human being would do, which she is.
Asim- Oh so-
Sid cut them in between and said- Guys shush. Let me sleep! Tomorrow is going to be a hectic day.
Tomorrow is going to be a hectic day for the city Meeti, let me sleep.
Meeti blew off the candles and said- Goodnight Ms.
Sana looked at the full moon- but because of the curtains she could only see the half, she sighed and looked at it with awe.
Goodnight young master, Asim said.
Sid stared at the full moon- but because of the moving train he could only see the half of it.
He sighed and stared at it with awe.
The sun rose but looked at the people of Osian where already working.
Why wouldn't they? Their young master was coming back with the highest post given to anyone so young at this age. After 5 years their hero was coming back, the whole city was preparing for it.
The whole house of the General's was busy bustling with servants running here and there.
Sana slowly tried to sneak out when Meeti kept a hand on her shoulder scaring her.
Sana jumped and said- What?
Meeti- Aren't you going to get ready?
Sana- For? You know he wouldn't care if I am there or not. I am so happy that the hall would be empty today so I could practice a little more.
Meeti sighed as Sana silently ran out.
Sid and his friends sat in the most costliest open car and as Ray started to drive in the city- people started to cheer loudly, throwing flowers at them.
Sid smiled waving his hand, woman gushed on how even more handsome and manlier he looked while the men looked at him in pride.
After a long ride they got down at the big house, he called home which was lit up with thousand Diya's and candles.
Sid smiled as he entered in and saw his mother standing there with a traditional plate in her hand with teary eyes.
Sid got teary eyed too, as the woman rotated the plate around him as a blessing and did something which saves him from the evil eye she believed.
He hugged his mother tightly as the woman sobbed a little.
Mom- You have grown so tall, now I know who to ask to get the things where my hands can't reach.
Everyone chuckled.
Sid's eyes roamed around looking for a particular person but couldn't see her.
Sid- Where is father?
The woman smiled and said- He has been pacing up and down since 5 days and even today he asked thousand gaurds where were you but won't act like it.
Sid chuckled and went inside his study room.
Sid - Can I come in father?
The father looked up from the newspaper with a serious expression ans nodded.
Sid chuckled and said- So father how is the experience of reading the newspaper upside down?
The father froze and cursed himself while Sid chuckled and hugged him.
The father patted his back proudly and drunk up the tears of joy.
Father- I got to know from the general, proud of you little boy.
Sid whined and said- Not a little boy father.
The father smiled and said- For me, you would always be.
Sid's mom- Come let's have some food?
Sid- I'll come in a while, I just need to do some work.
Mom- You just came-
Sid- I'll be quick.
Sid took out his car and started to drive around the city looking at all those places where he could expect that person to be.
After half an hour of driving he sighed and got down of his car tired.
I want to see you, how much I crave to see your face.
Just when he saw the lights of the hall on.
Strange, if the whole city is invited for the fest of my coming why is the lights on?
He took out his gun and slowly walked inside the big hall.
He paused as he saw the spotlight on and a woman wearing a veil holding an instrument he had seen in Russia, was singing.
The moment he heard her sing the flew lines, his heart beat increased.
Prem barsaao sang so jaao
Jane na doongi
Ab tohe jane na doongi
Kuch bhi na bolun aisa kar jaao
Honthon pe mere honth dhar jaao (x2)
Sukh wali rutt jane na doongi
Prem barsaao sang so jaao
Jane na doongi
Ab tohe jane na doongi
He couldn't stop listening to the voice, it felt like an addiction. This was actually soothing him so much.
He shook his head, he shouldn't think about any woman like that.
He got up to leave when his eyes fell on a bracelet in the hand and he smirked interesting.
The woman got up and went inside to the backstage to drink some water and then go home.
Sana was about to remove her veil when she heard a very deep voice which sent shivers to her spine-
toh nahi jane dijiye.
Sana froze at the similar voice, her breath hitched as she felt his hot breath near her neck.
She felt his hands grip her shoulders, sending up chills to her body and made her face him.
She looked up at his face through the veil, her heart beat increased watching him after so many years.
He stared at her doll like eyes through the veil and her haziest lips because of the veil.
He smiled at her and said, Hum aagye.. yaad kiya aapne humko Sana...?
Oooooookay! A little long chap!
Tell me how was it? I didn't wanted to focus much on their lives without each other but did let you have a sneak peak.
