Let me go, Mr. Hill [by Shallow South] Chapter 1698 Her lips almost hit his nose, but she held her breath for one second, and her mixed-race featured face suddenly reddened. âRodney Snow, why are you so close? Are you insane?â
âYouâre the insane one, Freya Lynch. Are you incapable of saying anything nice?â Rodney was frustrated. However, when he looked at her rosy face, a strange feeling surfaced in his heart.
Recently, Freyaâs belly had grown as huge as a balloon, and her face was much rounder than before.
She looked a little chubby, but her skin was glowing from her diet at home. It made people want to pinch her.
âI do say nice things, but not to you, â Freya snorted. âCathy has to go grocery shopping, so weâll go over a little later.â
âOh, thatâs fine. I have to go upstairs and do something.â Rodney smiled strangely and excitedly ran upstairs.
Freya stared at his back, puzzled.
An hour later, Rodney drove to Hill Manor.
Since the manor was not far away, they arrived in less than half an hour.
As this was Freyaâs first time at the manor, she became envious when she saw such a large manor. â
This place is so big. Compared to yours, my villa is only a little bigger than your bathrooms.â
Rodney retorted awkwardly, âWhose bathrooms are this big?â
âYeah, the bathrooms here are about the same as yours.â Catherine grinned. âLet me show you around and pick some fruits along the way.â
âSure. â Freya turned to Rodney and said, âDonâ t follow me around. You can look for Shaun instead. â
âWhy would I follow you around anyway? Nobody cares. Do you think youâre that popular?â Rodney snapped instinctively.
âGreat. Then donât follow me around in the future.â Freya sneered.
Rodney choked. âDo you think I want to follow you around? Youâre the one whoâs always rash. Iâm worried that youâll hurt the child.â
âThanks. If you didnât push me because of Sarah, m y child would have been healthier than anyone else.â Freya sneered back.
âThat happened a long time ago. Why are you still bringing it up? Forget it. Iâm not going to argue with you. Iâm going to find Shaun. â Rodney waved his hand in anger and quickly walked away.
Catherine was speechless. âYou two⦠Arenât you tired of bickering all the time?â
âItâs fine. Itâs just a waste of saliva.â Freya shrugged. âIn fact, I wonât be used to it if he doesnât bicker with me one day.â
âServes you right that youâre stuck together.â Catherine sighed.
Freya looked at her in confusion. âWhy?â
âThe two of you are so sharp -tongued. If you two didnât get together, youâd be destined to live a lonely life.â Catherine said, âNow, at least you have each other.â
âYou can kiss our friendship goodbye.â Freya waved her hand in anger.
âIâm joking.â Catherine hurriedly grabbed her hand. âHowâs the baby? Is she naughty?â
âDonât talk about it. She keeps kicking my stomach at night. Sheâs so annoying, â Freya said with disdain, but her eyes were sparkling.
âYou really think sheâs annoying?â Catherine raised her eyebrows. She was also a mother, so she knew that mentality best. âTell the truth.â
Freya said with mixed feelings, âYou know it. I never used to welcome her arrival, but as my belly got bigger, the baby grew bigger too. When I eat my favorite food, she gets very excited in my belly.
When I play her music, sheâll move as well. Itâs amazing. All of a sudden, it hit me that Iâm really about to become a mother, and I have to be responsible for a life.â
âEvery mother goes through that journey, including me. When sheâs born, youâll feel itâs even more wonderful. Although life is filled with many unhappy things, children are all little angels, â Catherine said with a smile.
